Like the many others who have received similar "service", I too advise others DO NOT shop online with Farmers. It would be laughable if it weren't appallingly bad. Not only are they insanely slow (how is it even possible to be that slow for an e-commerce store in 2023???) - it took 2 weeks from when I ordered to when my order was delivered - but worse yet you CAN NOT get a refund if you discover your items are sort suitable. Despite treating the items sent with care and returning in the same saleable condition, Farmers is determined to keep your hard earned money and hold you to ransom to only shop with them by offering only gift cards to the value of your return. It's either that or an exchange. A farmers gift card is not cash and can't be redeemed elsewhere if you decide there's nothing else you actually want to purchase from the company. You are locked in to remaining a farmers customer. Beware before spending money with Farmers, and if possible only shop in-store to test the quality of the items before ordering as if it's not up to standard you will be stuck if you expect to get your money back (like any other retailer is happy to do). They also charge for click and collect!!?!! Farmers, you're a joke.

Ordered underwear for my son wasn't even picked 6 days later. What is this? Orders should be picked within a day and processed within 3 days. Totally unacceptable. I can get stuff from around the world quicker. This is what stuffs the NZ economy when we can't even get our purchases within a week. Get your act together and get up with the play

-10 never make and order online I got a bag once and they never scanned it into the store so it took so long for them to even say it’s ready, they will tell you ten days but it’s always way over that even Temu or Kmart ship better and faster and you pay more at farmers Christmas presents coming late that just say status *ordered no more emails called still
Not processed just ordered even when it’s been 10 days online store at farmers is the most unreliable, slowest place and when you make contact they all ignore you or say I’ve made a note a note for who ? No one but the person making the note themselves. I literally have had orders from overseas arrive already

Comically slow delivery. Asked to choose a colour of toy ordered - nope we choose and you can go to the store to exchange it defeating the purpose of online shopping. Also waited eight days and counting to get the delivery of a product of their choosing. Never again. 1.7/5 stars seems high.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchase online from a range of companies and Farmers was incredibly slow in their delivery. It has been 10 days since I placed my order and have had no shipping update. I had to call to find out what was going on. If they want to survive the online retail world they are going to have to amp up their game or they will collapse. I will not be purchasing online from this company again. I have orders from Australia and the US arrive sooner and their online depot is in Auckland for goodness sakes and I live in Whangarei.

I bought an expensive baby cot for my grandson. He has used it for about 6 months and it broke, the latch holding up the side rail. Farmers said the part to fix cot will be couriered to us on Monday. And we have to fix it ourselves. In the meantime baby has nowhere to sleep for 5 days. Told it was not there problem baby didn't have a safe bed till Monday. Poor customer service. Not our fault it broke.

I recently purchased an item of clothing from the Centre Place, 501 Victoria St, Shop 81. CBD Hamilton. Never before have I received such exemplary service from a store in NZ or beyond. My purchase was only available in this store and no availability to order online and I live in Auckland and I needed it quickly. Mojgan went out of her way and took time out of her own personal day off to help me and I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you Mojgan. :-)

We have purchased an item in farmers (Chanel) for a gift. Phoebe is the assistant we had after the purchase we asked for a wrap for a gift. However she has refused to gift it because “she was busy with other customer, and she’s the only one working”.

Delivery of goods they advertise?, not what is in stock, can take around a month to arrive.
7 days delivery?? joke!!
Its quicker to buy overseas and have delivered here, than bother with Farmers.

I've ordered one of your Christal nail files just a few weeks ago and it's already blunt cause the surface is coming off 😡 it's really annoying cause I've payed 14 dollars for it to not have to deal with crappy quality and in the end I got exactly that 😒

The santa & missy bears are excluded from the Christmas Shop sale this year.
I am very disappointed.
I know it's a hard time, but I will not be going back.

I ordered Farmers for my 4 pound chihuahua because he is old and lost a lot of teeth before he was rescued. He liked it for a few days then refused to eat it unless he was starving and even then only a small portion. It was not fresh. It was frozen. It was not pre measured but came extruded into a same-size fits all plastic sleeve. I had to measure out 1/8 size portions by cutting the sleeve in half, then in quarters, then into a 1/8 size serving. The green gelatinous mass was foul smelling and extremely greasy. The inconvenient packaging was messy and the only way to get the grease off my hands was to wash with a strong degreasing dishwater soap twice. Then I noticed he wasn’t pooping daily even with the psyllium husk Farmers had provided. I had samples of Chicken, Beef, and Turkey, and it was the same story. I cancelled the next delivery due in a week but received it two days later. I wish I had seen your site before I bought the dog food but I trusted the vet reviews. Live and learn. I was going to donate the early delivery package but after reading your reviews, I will put it in the garbage.

I was overwhelmed by the world class customer service provided by Natalie yesterday afternoon while iwas shopping on clothing department.This was my 2nd shopping with Farmers in newzealand after my arrival..i was also offered with farmers club and clearly explained on rewarding systems it offers. I wish all the best to Natalie & team in Farmers to continue providing superior service to your customers regularly...cheers

I find them quite expensive to others & one more odd thing is they don't do the price match or a price beat but for few things like VH Shirts, Belts, Giftware, Socks, Shorts and Frenchies that I always go to them. My 5 stars are for those things only. Knowing they don't sell other things at a competitive price as compared to others that I don't go to Farmers for that.

Operator 58405 went above and beyond her duties, when I was looking for a dress size that was unavailable in their farmers store. She told me that the correct size was available at their Glenfield store and took my name and adress. She called me later the same day to say that she had ordered a transfer for me. I was so impressed that she did this and called me because she was the only person in the ladies clothing area and she was hectically busy. I did find the correct size at Glenfield so it ended well. We'll done to Operator 58405!!!

If I could give a no stars, I would. Do not buy a bed on their half priced sale. You will get a sub standard bed with no support and it will give back pain as well as a headache to sort out. This is bait advertising and it’s illegal. I have complained to the Commerce Commission about it. Hopefully they come down hard because misleading people to this degree is downright criminal.

Don't order online unless you enjoy terrible service! They are the slowest company in the country to ship orders. Often showing stock when there isn't any. Three days to ship is long enough but could take Farmers three weeks or more to ship depending on the item. I will never order from them again. Been caught out by their slack service too many times. It's 2023 Farmers, time to smarten up.

Sorry but Farmers take far too long with orders when you order online even for pickup from a Store. Why does it take so long when Briscoes can do the order in half the time. Also I got my answer straight away from Briscoes instead of having to go through several people at Farmers. I wonder if they actually read their reviews or simply don't care.

Bought 3 toys with 50% off for the 2nd toy. The lady in cashier chose the cheapest toy to apply the 50% off. Cunning and deceitful. Not about providing great service. Hope the cashier gets bonus for losing a good customer. Beware their sale is to make people buy unwanted items.

Worst customer service. Bought online 2 weeks ago and still waiting. Farmers use Castle Parcels and the tracking shows it was delivered days ago. The idiot driver delivered to the wrong address and now has been advised to collect and re-deliver. Still waiting!!! Farmers Customer service advised me to look around my property....I had to tell them that the driver had delivered to the wrong address. They are always slow but this is by far the worst experience. Will buy from someone else in future. Too unreliable.
