I've been using the paid version of…

I've been using the paid version of Femia for a while now, and honestly, I can't imagine tracking my health without it. It's my routine now.. I started out using it an ovulation tracker to plan my pregnancy, and I was so impressed by how accurate and helpful it was. Now that I'm pregnant, I use all the features to keep track of my baby's development and how I'm feeling. The app is super user-friendly, and the info is always sport on and really useful.

Please avoid - same experience as others

First of all the app wasn't even a good app, it claimed to give you so much support and assistance in terms of helping with fertility health etc.

I have just been charged £66, as what others have mentioned it's not in my apple subscriptions even though on their page it says you can manage your subscription through Apple and even gives you the link to Apple, however there is nothing there. I have emailed and asked for a refund but haven't heard back. If they don't respond I need to report them to my bank.

Same issue as others - AVOID

Same issue as others. I reached out to them via email to query why I was charged and ask for refund as subscription isn’t in Apple subscriptions. No response whatsoever. The app is worse than Flo so don’t bother!
I am asking one last time for somebody to reply to my query and to refund me and to ensure my subscription is cancelled for sure. I will have to contact my bank and relevant authorities to report the company if I don’t hear back asap.

SCAM!

Trying to cancel subscription, I’ve sent tones of emails and wrote on instagram with no response, total scam! Have no idea how to cancel it right now, my money is just being stolen!!! Avoid at all costs, it’s impossible to cancel this subscription.

Impossible to cancel

Same destiny of the other users. I got charged after free trial (and I went multiple times in the app to see if there was an active subscription but there was nothing in my account). Once I received the email that I was charged, I followed the instructions to cancel the subscription. Impossible. I then emailed the support and I got the automatic message with the Famous instructions on how to cancel. I followed and it brought me nowhere. Tomorrow I will call my bank and report this company. And btw, the app is a copy of the Flo app without their professionalism. I hope the care team will contact me and solve this for good! I can't believe you are playing with some an important aspect of women's life!

Impossible to cancel

The app is not what it is advertised as and it seems impossible to cancel the subscription. I contacted the support via email, was told that I would get an answer within 24h but that has not been the case yet. I will not let go and want my subscription to be cancelled ASAP.

Expensive subscription nightmare

Had a total nightmare trying to cancel this expensive subscription! I tried to follow the instructions and it wasn’t even showing on my Apple subscriptions so I’ve been charged almost £80 for 2 months for an app I haven’t used. Despite sending emails hoping to get a tailored response, it just kept coming back with AI automated email responses which isn’t helpful. The subscription has now been cancelled but I’d like to be refunded as it was not easy.

This is the worse app I been ever used

This is the worse app I been ever used, it been charged me £5 for subscription and when I wanted to cancel it there is no option to cancel I got emailed if I want to cancel I have to contact apple subscription that’s so wired . Even though this app tried to take money from my account when I been already charged for subscription they tried to take money from my account without letting me know it’s a proper scam app

How to cancel is a mystery!

Another experience similar to others on here who have been charged seemingly out of the blue. I paid for a 7 day trial only and have just seen a pending £38.95 charge in my banking with no way to cancel as it does not appear in Apple Subscriptions! Awaiting a reply from customer services and after reading these reviews, do not feel hopeful at all!!

Edited 20.8.24 - I have since heard from
the support team via email who have cancelled the subscription thankfully, although a monetary refund does not seem possible and instead, according to the refund policy, I am being offered a years access to the app. For those waiting over 24 hours for a reply, you might expect to wait a few days longer but hopefully someone will be in touch as they have done with me. A helpful lady called Sophie.

Don´t give up

Hi guys, I had the same experience as you and wrote a bad review on Trustpilot a few days ago. Customer service then got back to me this week and cancelled my subscription and I also got a full refund of the money I had already paid. I also had contact with a Sophie as mentioned in a post from another user a couple of days ago. I don't think they are deliberately scamming people, their booking system seems to be a mess. Anyway, their refund policy (which I can`t link here but you can google it) says without a doubt, that you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days from the purchase date. I am writing this to let you know that there is hope. But don't wait for customer service to get back to you. Write reviews, over and over again, on Trustpilot or the App Store, until they get back to you. And if you still want to buy this app, do it through Paypal, because if worse comes to worst, Paypal can give you a refund. Keep going...

Subscription impossible to cancel

I don’t often leave reviews but want to add weight to the existing ones that I wish I had read - plus it seems it might be the only way to get a response as the emails don’t appear to be monitored.

I signed up with an instagram add and not via the app itself and cancelling a subscription is near impossible. It isn’t in apple subscriptions - because it wasn’t handled in the App Store. There’s nowhere to cancel in your account areas. You have to email them. But they do not reply

That aside, the reason I want to cancel is because the content is not what I was expecting. The quiz made me believe it would be a personalised experience but it is generic AI generated articles and chat.

Total scam!!

Total scam!!! Paid $20 for a 1 month trail subscription. Guess what? It doesn’t even give you access to any information within the APP!! It actually wants you to upgrade to receive any of the “benefits”. So I go to cancel the subscription and big shocker, no response. Then I get hit with a $65 charge out of nowhere. Now I’m dealing with someone named Sophie that’s talking to me like I’m stupid and is refusing to refund me for the unauthorized purchase. Do not, I repeat, do not use FEMIA.

Absolutely disgusting company. They won’t cancel your subscription and send generated messages back advising to cancel in your apple subscriptions despite it not being there. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!!!

Deceptive marketing...it's a scam

The social media marketing for this app is extremely misleading. It is a basic ovulation and period tracking app. Do not pay for a subscription. It is not worth it and it's incredibly difficult to request a refund or cancel a subscription. It is a total scam! The "advice" it offers is just AI generated. Terrible.

No option to cancel the subscription on iPhone

As others have mentioned, there is no option to cancel the subscription on an iPhone. I emailed customer service four days ago, and they said they would get back to me within 24 hours, but I haven't received a response yet.
