I rarely leave negative reviews
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other small business owners deserve to know about my experience.
I was contacted repeatedly by FieldPulse's sales team and eventually agreed to evaluate their software. During the sales process, I repeatedly explained that I had recently experienced issues with another software company because of a one-year contract and that I strongly preferred month-to-month agreements. I also made it clear that my company would not be ready to transition until June.
Throughout onboarding, the discussions focused on implementation, training, and preparing for our June rollout. When it became clear during implementation that the software was not the right operational fit for my business, I stopped the implementation before ever fully deploying the platform.
Despite never fully implementing or operationally using the software, FieldPulse insisted that I remain responsible for nearly an entire year's worth of payments. While they eventually offered a reduced settlement, it was still thousands of dollars for software my company never actually put into service.
My biggest disappointment is not the software itself. It's the way the company handled the situation. I felt there was very little willingness to consider the specific circumstances of my account or the documented conversations that occurred during the sales and onboarding process. Every discussion ultimately came back to the written contract.
My advice to any small business owner is simple: read every document carefully, including any terms incorporated through hyperlinks, ask direct questions about cancellation and financial obligations before signing, and do not assume the implementation period functions as a trial or evaluation period unless that is expressly stated in writing.
This review reflects my personal experience with FieldPulse and my ongoing contract dispute.
