RIP off
Spreadex Trading work in close cahoots with Atlantic based in Truro Cornwall an outfit not fit for purpose, Spreadex opened an account through Atlantic on a spread betting platform only to find out even though I had given no permission to Spreadex to pay commission to Atlantic. That behind the closed doors Spreadex agreed to pay Atlantic a commission on each trade I made and it wasn’t too long before I realised my balance wasn’t right. When I found out Spreadex refused to pay back the commission to each trade I made, while sending £25 per trade I made to Atlantic for its commission which was a total loss to me in this organised scam!! fraud.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
Your account was opened following an introduction from a third-party firm. Before you placed any trade, we wrote to you setting out the charges that would apply, confirming that they related to that introducing firm and that Spreadex does not retain them. We collected them on the introducer's behalf and passed them on in full. When you later asked us to end that arrangement, we actioned it immediately.
Any concerns about your longer relationship with the introducing firm, or losses predating your account with us, are matters between you and that firm.
We are satisfied that we disclosed the cost of trading clearly and met our regulatory obligations. A member of our team has already been in direct contact to resolve this and remains available to help.
Kind Regards,

Great to use with Trading View
Everything works really well with Trading View, the whole reason for them trumping other spread betting platforms.
I have marked down a star as they don't have all the commodities I would like, and they don't allow very small positions on said commodities like gold and oil so for someone with a small account you just can't afford to trade them.
And their native trading platform is a bit old fashioned compared to TV.
However they have been a good company to deal with, including my experience with customer services. There spreads are often very keenly priced (depending on the time of day) and they allow stop losses to be trailed up into profit via TV, something very vew platforms seem capable of.
So all in all, after testing a few, Spreadex are the best I could find and would recommend. Just hope they update some of their contracts and software a bit... then they would be 5 super stars.

Hi Wheel deal,
Thank you for the great review and we’re glad to hear you're enjoying the TradingView integration!
Good news on the commodities front: we're updating our minimum stake sizes very soon, which should make gold, oil and others much more accessible. Keep an eye out over the next week.
We’re also able to add markets to TradingView on request.
If you drop us a message with the ones you'd like to see, we'll take a look and see if there’s anything we can do.
Thanks again for the feedback, always appreciated.

If I could go lower than one star I would, the customer service teams are totally useless, I had to close my account because they took so long in getting back to me (2 weeks) my account was locked because of something to do with there compliance team and when they rang me it was a total waste of my time on a Sunday afternoon, I had to put in a complaint about that, do yourself a favour and don’t use this site

Better and More indicators needed
The available number of indicators are small. IG outclasses this availability. Making shorter term trades I feel better indicators are essential.

Hi Mr Ross,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are committed to expanding and enhancing our platform and would like to understand where we can improve to better support your trading.
Please could you specify which indicators you find critical and are currently missing?
A member of the team did try and reach out to you regarding this matter.
In addition, it may be helpful to note that you can link your Spreadex account with Trading View who offer a vast range of specialised indicators. Details on how to integrate can be found here: TradingView | Financial Spread Betting | Spreadex (https://www.spreadex.com/financials/education-hub/our-platforms/tradingview-platform/)

Competitive rolls
What most people who use these trading platforms don’t realise is that most of them make the bulk of their profit from the rolls on overnight positions. They often give the excuse for very costly rolls as reflecting the market and liquidity, which is just not true (I’ve worked in markets for many years so am in a position to understand these things) … After being totally ripped off by some of the well known platforms, Spreadex turned out to be the most competitive of the alternatives I looked at. As long as the rolls remain competitive I’ll continue to trade with them. The app could do with a little more clarity over what the size of one unit trades actually is, but other than that it works well for me.

Hi JS,
Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review — we really appreciate your perspective, especially given your experience in the markets.
It’s great to hear that you’ve found our overnight funding rates competitive compared to other providers. We understand how important this is for clients who hold positions longer term, and it’s something we continually review to ensure we remain fair and transparent.
We also take on board your feedback regarding unit clarity in the app. For the avoidance of doubt, if you ever want to double-check the unit for a specific market, you can find this in the Market Information section under Trade per.

The company is better than most
The company is better than most. My only gripe is that the platform is a bit hard to see. Fonts small with colours that hurt the eyes. I think there could be improvement on the layout of the text and colour scheme. Apart from that they are a good company
