I used the services of this dtore and I liked everythings. The menu is convenient, the choice is huge! Most of all I was pleased with the fast delivery! I took off a star because the order was long overdue! But overall I recommend and the services myself
This is a review about the website and not for any physical store location.
After I ordered on finewineandgoodspirits.com, I picked up my order from one of the fine wine and good spirits locations on Monday March 21st. When I got home and checked the bill in the box there was a $12 shipping and handling charge.
I thought I ordered the minimum amount for free shipping.
I called customer service and the rep was very nice and helpful but told me that he could not refund me the $12. He told me that I had not placed a minimum order for free shipping and then HE TOLD ME WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE ON THE WEBSITE TO HAVE FREE SHIPPING AND GET THE ORDER DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO MY HOUSE. I did not know I could get free delivery directly to my house. If I had known that, I would have checked that option.
I went to the website and clicked on delivery info again. I saw nothing in the delivery info that indicated that I could get free delivery directly to my address. Or how to go about getting free delivery. Which according to the rep I spoke with is possible to get free delivery to my house.
I am not happy with the difficulty of navigating the website and I don't think it's fair that I had to pay the $12 shipping fee plus the gas I used to pick up the order. Especially since the website was not clear on the directions of how to order for delivery.
They need to make the delivery instruction clear and indicate ALL delivery methods and HOW to go about getting the other types of delivery. I.E. delivery to the store for pick up or delivery directly to a private location. Please correct this and if possible refund the delivery charge.
