Bad Start…dealt with very well.
Ordered a starter bundle (£139.98) on 29/10/21. Got confirmation email so thought great. delivery was to be 05/11/21. The email said I would receive a delivery confirmation, which I did on 1/11/21, from Parcel2Go (Hermes). The delivery was confirmed as 05/11/21, and provided tracking. On 05/11/21 the parcel did not arrive. The original email from Fireguard plus had no way of contacting them, no phone number, nothing. The tracking just kept telling me that the parcel was at the Depot, and not delivered on 05/11/2021 due to ‘a major event’. What does that even mean? I tried to enquire via a link on the Parcel2Go email around 6 times in all, as the items were STILL at the Depot (and still are, apparently), but when I clicked on the link that said ‘Let’s Fix This’ and entered my order number and my email address it said that my email address was the wrong email address for that order. It is not the wrong email address. I then went to the Fireguardplus website (I knew there was a website as I had checked all this out before I bought the alarms), finally found an email address, sent an enquiry/complaint and the email was returned to me a day later as undeliverable! Raging as the website worryingly says this is the only way to contact them, there is no phone number. I see their address is Glasgow and it would be very easy for my husband to go pay them a visit and get my money back as we don’t live far from their office.
Update: I had a pleasant call from Grant, very accommodating and apologetic. My purchase was posted via Royal Mail Next Day delivery (at no extra cost to me) that very day and it did arrive the next day. Very much appreciated. I do think the problems are mainly caused by the courier (Hermes) and I think things would go so much smoother if this company changed that. Also I think a phone number should be made accessible on the website alongside the other details. All in all, the follow up customer service was actually very good and definitely changed my opinion about the company. The alarms themselves look good, feel like high quality. We haven’t put them up yet, that’s tomorrow’s job, but first impressions are good.

Great product and service.
I ordered 4 off the Standard Bundle on Friday 5th Nov for myself and friends and was prepared for a delay in availability and shipment because of the recent reviews I had read. Most people were positive about the cost and quality, so delivery delay didn’t concern me too much. I received an email on Sunday 7th advising that estimated shipment would be Monday, with delivery by Fri 12th. Quite happy with this, but further updates from courier brought forward the estimated delivery and I actually received the packages today the 9th Nov. I don’t normally do reviews but had to comment on the great service I received. Husband fitted up my Bundle same afternoon it arrived. So easy, clear instructions, quality product at great price. Excellent alarms
I bought the Standard Bundle which had the exact amount of alarms I needed.
I then noticed some people mention there was no address or phone number for the company and, have to admit, I was worried it was a scam.
I needn't have worried. The alarms arrived within a week.
Following the enclosed instructions the alarms were simple to activate and to interlink.
I'm 72 and found it all easy to do.
I pressed the remote to test them and they all sounded together with a flashing red light.
Well worth the money.
I do think, though, the company should add their phone number to their website to save people doubting them.

Recommended using this company by my dad who ordered his from here. Can't fault the service, easy to order and delivered within 2 weeks.
Issues resolved
I placed order for 2 Bundles worth £197.98 each on 4/10/21, all seemed fine as I emailed them a question about delivery.I got a response from Paul later in the evening. Few days later got tracking from Parcel2go that items would be delivered by Hermes. Were due to be delivered by 14/10/21. Kept checking tracking as it states still at depot. Contacted customer service after delivery date past to inform them package still not arrived. It took several emails to get a response. Eventually got a response from Lauren,told they would look into it and would get back to me in 48 hours. I left it 3 days and contacted again, once again it took several emails to get a response . Eventually got a reply from Paul saying he was aware and would look into it. Few days later got reply from Lauren saying they would reissue my order next day via the post office. (In one of my messages I had said I would pay additional postage for goods not to be delivered by Hermes) they did not respond to this. After few days contacted again as had not received tracking or order. No response.
After several emails I got a tracking email from Parcel2go for 1 package. Contacted them again to ask what was in package as I had ordered 2 bundles.(previously been told would come as 2 packages). Once again no response, kept emailing until got response from Lauren. Stating they had fulfilled my order and it would be picked up on Monday 1/11/21 . Tracking from Parcel2go which I received on Friday 29/10/21 says it has been dropped off at drop off point on 29/10/21.it is still saying this 2/11/21 and it’s due to be delivered by Hermes!! Don’t know what the delay is from drop off to pick up??
Once again package is to be delivered by Hermes!!
In business customer service is everything, this company do not have this.
I placed these orders in good faith for 2 elderly relatives who can not afford to loose this money. I would not recommend this company!!!!!
As at 2/11/21 still awaiting my orders my order has not been fulfilled.

After ordering the standard bundle from Fireguard + I belatedly looked up the reviews and after reading some really negative ones I began to wonder if I’d done the right thing. I had a professional company come in and quote a price for fitting the equipment and was given a price of £480. The standard bundle from Fireguard costs £197.98 and includes a carbon monoxide detector as well. My misgivings were unfounded as the equipment arrived earlier than the specified time and was extremely easy to set up and install. I highly recommend this company.
Really Good System
Bought the bundle with 6 smoke detectors, 1 heat detector, and 2 carbon monoxide detectors.
Neat looking and really easy to pair up and install. Totally compliant with Scottish Regulations now but worth installing no matter where you live.
I'm impressed and have recommended to other family members.
Better to use the screws
I am a retired Fire Service Officer. I Ordered two bundles, one for my parents and one for myself. Delivery took about a week. Alarms are simple to interlink using the remote control. I would strongly recommend using the (supplied) screws to fix to ceiling.
Potential scam - beware
Hard to tell for definite but I think this may be a scam (to a degree). Didn't deliver anywhere near the agreed date (And just so happens to always be the couriers fault as per other reviews) despite me getting Hermes delivered from elsewhere with no bother. Due to delay asked for a refund if I return. Provided proof of drop off and no response so chased again and still no response so no refund so I'd say that at the very least that's stealing. (UPDATE 02/11: Refund Received)

Poor customer service...
Never received an invoice despite asking for one twice and no response to my email's. Invoice is needed for tax purposes fitted them for a customer. Update : Invoice finally received. Product is fine and will use again.

Great alarms, awful delivery, amazing customer support
Bought a linked fire alarm bundle. Alarms themselves are great and easy to link together. Had the same delivery problems a lot of other people had with Hermes... not sure why Fireguard still use them given how bad they are. Would recommend drilling the alarms in - the 3M stickers are pretty unreliable. Customer support is incredible. Lauren is an absolute star and was right on top of everything! She should be paid more.

would like to fit these smoke alarms but have been unable to get a quote from this company.
They have "bundles" and they do seem good value but all include a CO alarm that I have no use for. They have a "custom bundle" survey but this does not let you spec no CO alarm.
I have tried contacting the customer care more than once and have had no response at all.
As I say, would like to use the alarms but with no response from the company I can't compare their product value and the lack of response before purchase also worried me.

Good service
Ordered 28 September and advised 3 week delivery but 6 October advised sent to drop off to be collected by Hermes and delivered by 11 October but 12 October still showing not picked up by Hermes so emailed Fireguard + and got reply 5 minutes later that Hermes had picked up parcel and would arrive next few days. Following day was delivered so delighted. Simple instructions and easy to install. Great service

My order took almost 5 weeks between order and delivery. I was beginning to think it was a scam.I was informed the package was with Hermes, it took about 10 days for the package to arrive. The product is very good and east to set up, Tip when asked to press the unit twice when setting up do it quickly.

Fireguard Standard Packs
Purchased 2 Standard packs as per new Scottish legislation, slight delay in delivery not unexpected .However Paul kept me informed. Instructions clear and concise easy to pair with remote and very easy to install.
Easy to fit alarms
There was a delay in the delivery but this was due to high demand because of the Scottish Legislation coming in next February along with the TV advertising carried out recently by the Scottish Government. Paul at Fireguard kept in regular contact.
The alarms are compact neat and so easy to fit with the tape which I had no problem with. I am a poor with DIY but within 15 minutes they were fitted tested and going perfectly.
