In a world of bad estate agents these guys are the pits
Worst rental experience ever. They firstly gave us the wrong price for the property. Then Threatened to give it to someone else if we didn't pay the extra after agreeing to take it.
When we moved out they tried to get us to arrange and do all the viewings for them. They then withheld our deposit for 4 months. Honestly pathetic. Especially Faisal, but the entire Hackney central branch.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
we were really happy with the house we found through FJL Hackney and we submitted the holding deposit as well as all references in a timely manner.
Once done the agency delayed sending our contract for more than a week telling us that the landlord had to just submit some extra document which was actually a lie.
We have been notified after 3 weeks of putting down our holding deposit and less than a month before we have to vacate our current house that the landlord CANCELLED our application because his daughter will move in instead? We were not offered any other option for the inconvenience caused! We are now left homeless! Never experienced something like this after we have already paid for the holding deposit almost a month prior!
Also we phoned the general manager to receive an email confirmation for the refund of our holding deposit and she was extremely rude and annoyed towards us for no reason since it’s a quite normal thing to ask for when you are let down and dropped out of a tenancy the way we were. Everyone we spoke to was highly unprofessional!
We have now been waiting for over 7 days for the return of our holding deposit and we still no words from the Hackney agency!!
