FLEXSPEC Modular Garage Flooring Reviews 

I wanted to give my garage a facelift and decided to give Flexspec a try after hearing good things about it. Ordering and organising for delivery were very straightforward. The option to customise the design to my personal preference was a bonus!

The tiles themselves look good, but my initial experience with FLEXSPEC was quite frustrating.

The main issues I encountered were with the online planning and ordering tool, which froze repeatedly, appeared to significantly overestimate the number of tiles required, and supplied incorrect male/female edge pieces in some locations. The invoice simply described these as “edge pieces”, so there was no practical way for me to identify the problem before installation.

I also found the returns process frustrating. I was initially told that I would need to return the incorrect items at my own expense and purchase replacements. I had difficulty getting responses to my questions by email, while I was conscious of the 30-day return period. I also experienced issues with delivery arrangements and was unable to obtain the tile hook recommended in FLEXSPEC’s installation videos.

I have now updated this review because FLEXSPEC followed through on the commitments made in their response to my original review.

They acknowledged the issues I had experienced and introduced me to their new 3D design tool, which is better integrated with the ordering process. They also resolved the issue with the excess tiles by providing me with a refund while allowing me to keep the tiles as spares, which was a very reasonable outcome. The tile hook that was out of stock was also subsequently provided.

Most importantly, they didn’t just respond positively to my review — they actually implemented the fixes and solutions they said they would.

I still think there were significant problems with the execution of the original ordering and customer-service processes, and my original one-star review reflected my experience at the time. However, I appreciate the way FLEXSPEC responded when those issues were brought to their attention. They listened, acknowledged where things had gone wrong and followed through with practical solutions.

On that basis, I’ve revised my rating from one star to four stars. There are still some areas where I think FLEXSPEC could improve, particularly around the execution of the ordering and customer-service processes, but they have demonstrated that they are willing to address problems when they arise. If they can iron out those remaining issues, I think they will do very well.

Got garage floor tiles - very happy

Flexspec is hands down the best company for modular flooring in Australia, found a lot of people in the market and many of them are just selling the Flexspec tiles with a markup using a different brand or name, thought it would be better to just buy direct with Flexspec. Anyways I had a few technical questions before buying, and their customer service team was incredibly helpful and didn't just try to up sell me. Shipping was ridiculously fast, arriving at my door just days after ordering. The tiles snap together seamlessly, the premium quality is obvious as soon as you open the box, and knowing they back it up with their warranty gives total peace of mind. 10/10 experience.

I ordered Flexspec flooring for my garage and couldn’t be happier with it. The tiles are strong, fit together well, and completely changed the look of the space.

Customer service was great and the whole process was smooth from start to finish.

Very good garage floor tiles and delivered fast

Easy to use and looks awesome!

New build ~18mo old, and had a light grey epoxy done on the floor. Worked fine, but shows up all the dust, water and tyre marks, so looked at getting it redone with darker base colour and flake, but cost would be around $5k and 3 days of smell/hassle etc.
Found the floor tile option, and after plenty of research went with Flexspec.
Ordered Thursday, realised I got the wrong type (doh), rang up 10 min later and changed it, and they didn't charge the extra, and tiles were all delivered within 5 days.
Decided to have a trial install after work, and it was soooo easy, laid about 36m2 in <2hours (except cutting) and that included moving stuff around in the shed.

After much research on the different types of garage flooring, epoxy, polished concrete, and interlocking rubber gym mats, I'm so glad I went with Flexspec. Delivery and installation was free. I just needed to call to book in installation. The team was friendly and efficient, my single garage was done in under an hour. I went with Slate Grey, the garage floor looks great and it's functional. I'm really happy with the pricing and experience.

Amazing tiles and installation. The design tool on the website is easy to use, and the installation service was flawless. They came and installed the tiles to match the design exactly, effortlessly working around corners and irregular shapes in the garage. I'm delighted with the result.

Excellent product, was looking for alternative garage flooring and stumbled upon Flexspec. They appeared to have a good selection and had the ramps which I wanted as it tends to finish off the install. Tiles were surprisingly easy to lay and completed a double garage in one day on my own, if it was not for all the cutting required for the edges would have finished in an hour. Cutting the tiles I tried a circular saw and a jigsaw, and the jigsaw was by far the easiest method once I got used to it, I would suggest using a fine blade. Would recommend these tiles and Flexspec as they look great and are very solid without any movement. The one thing which did stand out was the customer service, as I ordered 1 to many boxes and they were very helpful in returning and refunding. Very easy to deal with adn responded quickly.

Just had Flex Spec garage tiles installed and I’m really impressed. They completely change the look of the garage – it feels more polished and stylish now, and the black, red and grey design really makes the space pop.

The tiles aren’t just good-looking, they’re great quality too. They feel solid underfoot, make the floor cleaner and nicer to walk on, and give the whole area a cooler, more comfortable vibe.

Big thanks to the team for the install – they did an awesome job lining everything up perfectly. If you want to upgrade your garage, these tiles are a game-changer.
