addirittura ci sono meno voli ora che quando eravamo sotto i missili, quindi la "operativita' al 70%" tanto pubblicizzata e' una bufala.
niente da recriminare per servizi a bordo e a terra, ma la parte commerciale e la politica di acquisto sarebbe da riformare
Flight cancelled - wrong personnel advice
My flight was cancelled with the reason "will not operate", and no alternatives were offered.
I knew about the conflict in the Middle East, so 1 day before the flight I personally went to the airport in Krabi, Thailand. The Flidybay representative told me to watch our email, and if the flight is cancelled, we must search for an alternative flight with any airline company because Flydubai does not offer alternative flights, but Flidybai will reimburse the cost of the new flight.
Flight was cancelled, I acted according to their instructions and then Flidybai only offered to reimburse the cost of Flidybai cancelled segment, not the cost of my new ticket.
I understand some situations are not under their control, but the instructions provided by the personnel are totaly under their control.

No flexibility at all, if it wasn't the only available option at the time i wouldn't have bothered to look at them.
They wont return your money, they will only give you a voucher with them so you are stuck to travel with them or your money is gone. Also you cant give the voucher to someone else. Such thivery is unprecedented.

We had a very disappointing experience with flydubai.
We booked a flight from Yerevan to Dubai but were denied boarding due to our Iranian nationality. After this, the airline issued us a voucher.
We then used the voucher to book another flight, but shockingly, we were denied boarding again for the same reason. This means flydubai allowed us to rebook without resolving the issue, causing us to lose both time and money.
There was no clear communication or warning about any restrictions for Iranian passengers at the time of booking or voucher usage.
We contacted customer service multiple times, but they failed to provide a fair solution and eventually stopped responding.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Flydubai. The check-in staff were unprofessional and came across as rude, which made the start of the journey stressful. I also felt misled regarding additional baggage charges, which seemed excessive and poorly explained.
Overall, the experience lacked transparency and customer care. Based on this, I would be hesitant to fly with them again and cannot recommend the airline to others looking for a smooth, stress-free travel experience.
ZERO STARS
Flydubai cancelled and rescheduled our flights twice to a different day, leaving us with no viable option to travel as planned. As we needed to be at our destination on the original date, the revised flights were not workable.
Despite the disruption being caused by the airline—not the passenger—Flydubai refused to issue a refund to the original payment method and instead offered only a credit note. This is particularly disappointing given the circumstances.

Had this been a voluntary cancellation, the outcome would be understandable. However, when the airline cancels or significantly alters a flight, customers should not be forced into credit.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Flydubai and would not choose to travel with them again.

My experience with Flydubai was absolutely terrible.
Both of our flights were cancelled at the very last minute, and we were left completely on our own. No alternative flight was offered, no assistance, nothing. Their excuse was “conflict in the Middle East”, even though our flights were not in that region at all.
Because of their cancellation, we had to urgently book new tickets ourselves at much higher prices and stay longer than planned, which caused significant extra costs.
What makes it even worse is their extremely unprofessional and unhelpful customer service. Despite the fact that their cancellation caused all these expenses, they continue to refuse any reimbursement.
This is completely unacceptable for an airline. We are now seriously considering legal action.
Avoid Flydubai if you don’t want to risk being abandoned when something goes wrong.

My flight from BUD to DXB was cancelled due to operational reasons. Refund was only offered in the form of a voucher and not actual money. I wanted an actual money refund as I had to book with another airline, but despite 3 phone calls and multiple emails, they ghosted me. Let that sink in: they cancel the flight, and they do not offer a refund. This is a scam. Never book with them.
No flexibility on tickets despite missiles
When all the other middle-eastern airlines are offering flexibility on fares due to the situation in the middle east, Flydubai does not. I understand things are not easy for therm and would accept a credit instead of a full refund, but not even that. These are difficult times, but they also cannot expect passengers to want to fly into a war zone via an airport that is subject to missile and drone attacks. I hope the war will be over soon, and I will be able to return to Dubai, but I will make a point of not booking on Flydubai in the future.

Horrible multiple cancelations
Flydubai cancelled our connecting flight from Dubai for more than 6 times and pushed out for more than 3 weeks. We saw that they are flying out from Dubai to other European destinations, so it became obvious that they are mostly cancelleling for economic reasons, not due to security and the war in Iran. We had to buy new expensive tickets and almost got tickets to yet another cancelled flight! Just because they were still selling tickets to the flights, which they already knew were going to be cancelled. Finally we got the tickets on the plane that was actually operating and afert long 48hours of flights and extra money we finally got back home.

My flight was cancelled by flydubai, yet customer service kept trying to reframe the situation as a “voluntary cancellation.” I asked for a refund, got delayed responses(No one response the first email for 7 business days. I have to called 3 times, but repeating my case each time), was offered a voucher instead, and then was told the case was closed. The worst part was not the cancellation itself, but the way they avoided responsibility and ignored the actual sequence of events.
