Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish. The staff is very professional and friendly. They kept me updated at all times and completed the repair before the date I was told. I appreciated that my car was picked up and dropped off as well as recieving a courtesy car.

FMG provided an excellent service
FMG provided a polite, prompt and professional service. They contacted me to bring in for the assessment, collected my vehicle for repair and delivered my courtesy car which was really helpful. Turned the repair around in a tight time frame to get the car back to me for a long journey I had coming up. The repair is seamless, in addition it came back super clean inside and out, which it wasn’t when I sent it in for repair! Thank you so much to the whole team and Babs for pushing for the quick turn around. Very very grateful!

Poor quality repair
FMG Repair Services in Bournemouth were appointed by Churchill Insurance to repair my vehicle.
The quality of the repair is very poor. Not only is there a paint defect in the external bodywork, there are multiple areas of damage on both nearside door trims where they have been levered off to access the door handles. I have been informed by the General Manager that my vehicle was worked on by an apprentice… The interior of my car was also dirty when returned to me.
Unfortunately my insurer insisted that I take my car back to FMG to have the defects rectified, and I am now in the process of having this done. They have so far been helpful, and I will update this review when the work is complete.
UPDATE 14/02/25 Steve Woodward went to great lengths to rectify the defects, including repairing the external defect and replacing most of the interior plastic trim with new. I was given a loan EV during these repairs and all the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The door trim is still loose but can’t face going back, so increasing my rating from 1 to 3.

FMG Bournemouth have been absolutely excellent and I am delighted with the service I recently received. All the staff are friendly, efficient and courteous. Communication re the repairs to my vehicle were regular and helpful. The repairs were completed to the highest standard and my car was cleaned thoroughly before it was returned. I cannot recommend FMG Bournemouth highly enough!

Repaired my car after it was damaged in an accident,the repairs were fantastic and my car looked as good as new! I was kept informed of the progress of repairs daily and if I called with any questions everyone was super helpful in finding out for me, was also supplied a courtesy car with unlimited mileage which was so helpful,would highly recommend FMG! They also dropped off the courtesy car and collected mine,fantastic service
Rude customer service
Spoke to two different receptionists here and the impression they gave is that they couldn’t care less. Both had an attitude, were rude and confrontational, my car had been in the garage for over 2 weeks with no update, and they had no empathy. Would not recommend just for customer service reasons, it’s a shame because the only reason I gave 2 stars is the lovely mechanic I spoke to originally.
Slow & Poor Communication
Non fault insurance claim via Direct Line - van was collected w/c 6th June. Repairs were scheduled to be completed within two weeks.
At present, the repairs have been continually pushed back to nearly 6 weeks with no official completion date in sight. Majority of damage was cosmetic with new radiator filter needed.
Online status portal is infrequently updated and only when you call the office are you given any real information. However, this is vague at best. Customer Service are essentially the first line of defence - ready to serve up a pre-rehearsed list of excuses to why the repairs are continually behind schedule.
Common 'reasons' include: Waiting inspection / delayed parts / staff holidays / staff sickness / quality control etc etc
Other reviews seem favourable, but I'm assuming as this is an insurance job, its on the insurers time, so there is no urgency.
I'll be happy to update this review based the quality of the repair work but until I received a completion date that FMG are able to fulfil and have my vehicle returned, I'm left frustrated and disappointed in their service.
Fantastic job and service
All staff at FMG repairs at Bournemouth/Poole were very kind, helpful & very professional. The service at every stage of the repair to my car was great. The courtesy car was even a new model. The repair to my car was perfect and on return, my car looked like new. Thank you! I would definitely recommend this company!
