However it doesn't mix well with larger quantities (400mls and above), it's a pain adding some water, some powder, mixing and then topping up to get to the full quantity.

When mixing larger quantities, getting the right balance between liquid and powder is key. If the shaker is filled close to the top straight away, there isn’t always enough room inside for the contents to move freely and break down properly. Starting with a bit more space, giving it a solid shake, and then topping up can help get a smoother result.
That said, we understand it adds an extra step and isn’t ideal for everyone’s routine. If you’re regularly mixing larger volumes, our 1L shaker has a bit more headspace which can make that process easier.
What is the recommended powder quantity (grams) and recommended liquid volume (ml) that your supplement of choice requires for mixing?

I was disappointed when the product…
I was disappointed when the product arrived. It is advertised as a premium product but it is not. Make sure you give it extra time to air dry after cleaning as it cannot be re used quickly even with paper towel to get in the hard parts. The powder storage goes damp in wet weather walks. I regret buying this.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the product.
Can you explain a bit more regarding your experience with drying the product? If you wash the product by hand it will take the same amount to try as other stainless steel bottles/shakers on the market.
There is a secure lid on top of the storage container which prevents any moisture getting inside. Perhaps the storage container was still damp from a previous wash before you put powder inside it?

Refreshingly good customer service
I bought the bottle a while ago now. Had an issue with the lid and Elisa in customer services was able to resolve the matter quickly and effectively. This saved me having to buy a new bottle. I don’t use the bottle for mixing in-situ, but for transporting the separate elements I’m going to drink. I love the design of this bottle. Thank you again for such refreshingly great customer service and a great design.

Stupid, gimmicky, pretentious
Materials are decent and it aesthetically appealing, however badly designed.
Yes- it doesn’t leak, but when drinking from the shaker, you always end up with a little bit left at the bottom that you can’t get, then you likely end up spilling drips in the process of removing the main lid to finish your shake. Did Forme actually test this product extensively…?
Wtf is actually the point in the additional storage bit at the bottom, really? You’re going to make your shake ahead of time and bring it with you, and you’re hardly going to want to make another one..? besides, the shaker is too narrow to empty your protein powder into easily without spilling some.
Forme seem to take pride in how easy it is to clean, however the extra storage bit at the bottom annoyingly traps water, and there’s just too many components making it a faff to clean and dry it all properly.
I really regret buying it, feel frustrated every time I use it, and will prob just give it to a charity shop before buying a non-pretentious wanky shaker like this one.

The design is intentionally different from traditional wide, plastic shakers. That slimmer profile and concealed lip are part of what gives it the cleaner look and leakproof performance, but we understand that the drinking experience won’t suit everyone. There shouldn’t be excessive liquid left at the bottom, though, so if that’s happening consistently we’d genuinely like to look into it.
The integrated storage is designed primarily for people who don’t want to carry a full tub of powder around all day. Many customers use it for pre or post workout supplements, creatine, or second servings when they’re travelling or at work. It’s not essential for everyone, but for a lot of users it removes the need for extra containers.
On cleaning, we recommend a proper cleaning brush and ensuring each component is fully separated and air dried. The storage section shouldn’t trap water once fully unscrewed and dried, so if that’s happening repeatedly it may be worth us taking a closer look.
We know the design is more premium and considered than a standard £2 shaker. For some, that difference is exactly why they love it. For others, a simpler plastic shaker might genuinely be a better fit. Either way, we do appreciate you giving it a go.

Shaker does all the things that you'd expect. Store powder, mix powder, keep drinks at desired temperature. But the one thing we wanted the forme for was the promise of no smell..... unfortunately it didn't deliver. Washed according to instructions, left open to air. Still has that horrible smell. Unfortunately feel we wasted out £ , Back to the freebies given by the protein powder makers.

Our bottles are made from high-quality stainless steel with BPA-free plastic lids, and odour retention is rarely an issue when cleaned properly. For best results, we recommend a deep clean using hot soapy water and a proper cleaning brush to reach all interior surfaces, including under the seals. Leaving the lid off to air-dry is a great habit too, which you’ve already been doing.
To help us understand what might be causing this smell, could you let us know which protein powder you're using? Some brands use ingredients or flavourings that tend to cling more than others, especially if left in the bottle for a while.

Elisa from customer services was amazing. My husband lost the lid of his shaker and I wasn’t sure which one fitted his shaker as it was a year and a bit old. Customer service a complete waste of time.
I purchased a shaker which states it held 50g’s of protein powder. It doesn’t and I have tried to return the product. Being told I can’t as it has been “used”. The product doesn’t do what it advertised. Just being told waffle by someone through discussion on IG. They haven’t replied to an email sent two days ago. This company is a joke !!!!

We discussed this with you in detail via Instagram and provided proof of the XL container holding 50g of powder, along with an explanation that powders vary in density and therefore require different volumes to reach the same weight.
The XL storage container is designed and tested to hold 50g of powder, and we stand by the accuracy of this description. We have sold many thousands of these units and have not received this feedback previously.
Reviews play an important role for small, independent brands like ours, so it’s disappointing when a review presents a factual claim that doesn’t reflect the product’s tested performance. That said, we’re always happy to engage constructively and transparently through our support channels.

The most effective and best looking shaker
This is easily both the most effective and the most stylish gym bottle I have ever owned. I bought the standard sized one in classic black which was an instant hit with me, I love the look of it, I love the silent shaking. I love the built-in supplement container and I’ve gotten a number of compliments and questions from people in The Gym asking me where I got it. It doesn’t just look good but is also the most effective shaker in that I never have any lumps - perfectly smooth protein! i’ve given one to a powerlifting friend of mine as a gift and just bought myself the larger hydrator as well.

The seal is great, no leaks! And the sports top works well. It keeps my protein shake perfectly cool. This is the best shaker I have owned and it’s nice to get rid of all my old plastic and not so good aluminum bottles!

Good All Around Shaker Bottle.
It took a very long time for the order to show up, but when it finally did, it was a great shaker bottle. Especially for hydrator mixing.
I also use it every day for my morning protein drink. It took me a while to figure out how to set up the powder so that it would not get stuck in the mixer. Initially, I found a lot of powder stuck under the lip of the mixer if I put the powder on top of the liquid.
But I have since figured out how to get the best out of the mixing when there is a lot of powder.
But the best thing by far is that it can keep things cold or warm, which was my motivation for buying it in the first place.

Terrible customer service - order not received
Having read good reviews about the Forme Shakers I ordered 3 identical bottles for my sons for xmas presents. I received one of the bottles fairly soon after ordering but no sign of the other 2. I have sent a few emails to Forme enquiring where my other 2 bottles are and have even sent a photo (as requested by them) to show exactly what I received (clearly didn't trust that I was telling the truth!). No update on my order for over 2 days now despite their website saying they respond to emails within 48 hours. Really poor customer service. I appreciate it is a busy time of year but I ordered well in advance and there are plenty of other smaller businesses that manage to deal with the large influx of orders at this busy time and keep their customers updated on their order. All I want is an update on when I can receive the remainder of my order that I have paid for!

One of the most interesting things is, I’ve reached out to them via email and social media, they respond! Now to the product! I told them on Instagram how great of a product this is, and probably the last shaker I’ll have to buy! My only ask is they make a sports lid for the XL Shaker. I am incredibly disappointed with this…
I am incredibly disappointed with this product. The shaker does mix the powders well. I found my powders tend to mix into clumps rather than dissolve with the liquid. The same powder mixed well in other shakers.

Getting a smooth mix really depends on following the correct powder-to-liquid ratio recommended by your supplement brand. If too much powder is added relative to the liquid, there may not be enough space inside the bottle for the contents to properly move and blend. We always recommend adding liquid first, then powder, and giving the bottle a firm, continuous shake — that tends to give the best results with our silent mixer.

Absolutely love my shaker
Absolutely love my shaker. Its so handy being able to just open the bottom of the bottle after my workout and tip my protein powder straight in so I can get protein in me straight away. But its not just the convenience, it looks good too. Much better than plastic shakers that never clean properly and end up smelling gross over time

True to their statements and then some
When I saw this advertisement on Facebook, I had to take a second look! So with me frantically moving Video gaming funds to make the purchase,the newly shaped Former Shaker. It came within 48 hours of purchase. Free shipping. When I used it it's like the advert for ronseal "Does exactly what they calm it would do!" In the advertising on Facebook. It is THAT good. A friend of mine said, "You get what you pay for!" And this product proves exactly what they say from the offset. Easy to clean, useable for shakes and hot drinks, sturdy in it's design! I very rarely recommend products outside of video games, this is the exception. It is that good.
