Easy options for selling and a decent user experience without spending too much money to get it sold.

I have sold a lot of houses through them, their system works at an affordable price. Our homes have been fairly priced, mostly new , and good quality.

Great platform. Easy to use and load images. Also easy to edit and update open times. Very good value for money.

I despise agents with a passion so when it came time to sell my property recently I was pleased to come across this platform. It couldn't have been easier to set up my listing and the support to do so was excellent. They were happy to answer my many questions and guide me every step of the way. I'm happy to say that I sold at a higher price than any agent said I would achieve saving approximately $30k in agents fees and commissions. Enquiries were dealt with promptly and efficiently and buyer's were delighted they didn't have to deal with an agent and had the opportunity to deal with the owner directly. I too enjoyed the ability to sell my own home without the restrictions or pressure from unruly real estate agents. I would not hesitate recommending forsalebyowner to anyone looking to sell their home.

Selling your own home is not so hard in Western Australia. Using FSBO was good because it kept our fees low. There were a few things that we really needed to get right first time and didn't. No.1 is set your price right. This is the hardest. Sorting through the offers is stressful and I ended up getting Keyhive to do that for us and it took away the stress big time. They were great and not expensive. FSBO is a great idea and it generally seems to work very well. The only downside is that the realestate .com.au listing is small and goes to the end of the list of properties using a premium listing. This makes it harder to be found as almost all agents use premium. I ended up upgrading the listing, but that was a big price increase. I didn't realize the basic price will get you less views.

Excellent service with personal help to manage listing so we were able to lease 2 properties both within 24 hours for a sum of $369 in total. Selling our house with guidance from the team at For Sale By Owner seemed daunting at first but once we made the decision it was a smooth process that gave us a few things to do initially like setting up a date with their photographer which went well and word smithing a description for the ad but with AI that’s not too hard. Then just be confident with your own ability and 5 days after listing it was under offer. Saving us around $40k in real estate fees. Thanks to the team and glad we used this company

Easy and effective way to advertise my business for sale.

I would not recommend using this company.

We spent over $2,000 on the property listing, upgraded to the Highlight Package for an additional $6,500, and paid $450 for a Facebook advertising campaign managed by them.

Despite this investment, we never received any reporting on the Facebook campaign and saw no noticeable increase in traffic. To make matters worse, the campaign was not even activated for the first two days after the property went on the market. I had to make multipal phone calls to get it activated.

Communication and follow-through were also disappointing. They forgot to send the promotional flag, and I had to follow up multiple times before receiving a response. While they were very responsive before payment, their service level dropped significantly afterward, with responses often taking 2–3 business days.

The actual cost is much higher than advertised if you want your property to have the same level of exposure as listings from traditional agents. The basic package from For Sale By Owner only includes a very limited listing on real estate websites. To achieve comparable visibility, you are pressured to purchase multiple upgrades, which can bring the total cost to well over $10,000.

The pricing is not as transparent as it initially appears, and the value provided does not justify the additional expense. In my experience, it was a complete waste of time and money.

This whole process was easier than I thought. All the benefits of promoting a rental property on realestate.com.au. There is an application process in place, you get notified when someone sends a message or application etc. All of this for a very reasonable fee.

Selling our home ourselves was straightforward and so much better than using an agent. We had full control over when we opened our home for viewings and had direct contact with all interested parties so there were no hidden discussions. I will never use an agent again.

FSBO is a good opportunity to save advertising costs. It's easy to use and gives you all the exposure you need for selling your property. I highly recommend it.
