And the new features with REST apis and MCP are really interesting when you consider its paired with end-to-end encryption. Support is fast and responsive too.

Been using Forward Email for years for both personal and business. Their support and communications are next level and the rate they develop new features is outstanding. Can't rate them highly enough and have moved all my email/calendaring from Google/etc. to them.

Great service with amazing value for money. We have used the service over the past 3 years. We use it for mailinglists in our sports club (teams, volunteer committees, parents, ...). Technically it is solid and the features keep improving.

I was looking for a reliable, encrypted email service and tried out Forward Email. So glad I did! Their pricing plan was perfect as I have a few accounts I use as alerts for network monitoring. Instead of getting dinged for additional "users", it fell into the fixed price I was paying for as many mailboxes as I needed. Finally!
As a former system administrator, I've done a ton of email migrations. Their DNS setup wizard was very easy to use so adding my domains was super easy. The web interface is easy to use.
Lastly, I came across an issue with CardDAV syncing between my Mac and CardDAV. Sent a few logs into the support team and within 24 hours they had it all fixed. Great communication and response! So much different than dealing with the usual players.
Overall, a great experience.

I'm *really* glad I chose ForwardEmail over the others I evaluated. It is a great product that solves the key domain-email problem for a very good price. It's fantastic how they have automated nearly everything, making me very self-sufficient (and ofc makes it much more manageable for for them, therefore keeping costs down). The site has excellent reference info and guides; configuring a domain states the exact DNS records needed on key things like DMARC. And they have timely support replies and solid help. Difficult to find a better option to solve this need.

I was using simplelogin but decided to switch out and diversify my mail setup a bit outside of the proton garden. What I appreciated was how responsive the forwardemail website and API was. Seriously, the site is just so fast and feature rich. Transferring my aliases in was really quick and I was able to continue with my daily workflow without much delay. Their support is often quick to respond too. Great value for what you get. I recommend it often.

Forward Email has provided the best forwarding service for many years.
The cost is very affordable.
The support for DMARK and DKIM together with the ease of setup and visual verification to check that your setup is right, beats most other services.
The flexibility and support for Webhooks, API for alias management, and mail sending makes for automatic updating and setup.
The fact that every mail is kept in encrypted containerized sqlite databases, in a way that only the password can open it, is simply the best alternative that I know.
The features and functionality are getting better all the time.
I just happened to bump into a problem with config lookup with IDN domains. A short while after reporting the problem, the system was updated to fix the problem. Could not be more happy with the service.

We migrated from cPanel and we have seen a great change in time delivery. We love the stats and management per user and domain. Getting email support took a couple of days to respond but they helped us to increase our quota limits more than we asked for (thanks guys).
Extensive features and great support
I am new to domain and email related administration, but the FAQ and email setup guides contained just about all of the information I needed to set up every email security feature to use their email and DAV server for personal use.
I experienced a bug with my calendar sync and support was very helpful in finding a solution and retrieved a working backup for me to restore from.
I did think it was a little odd that all of their comparisons to other email services say "we recommend forwardemail" as though they were some kind of neutral third party. The lists they have made wouldn't lead you to any other conclusion anyway so it made me cautious as to whether this was even a real company as they wouldn't have any reason to recommend a competitor, but rest assured the service is in fact real.
Great to build your business on
This company has not only introduced me to a category I didn't know about, but their support has helped my business to run emails smoothly, without breaking the bank.

UPDATE — Following my original review below, the situation has significantly escalated.
After posting this factual review, Forward Email:
1. Attempted to have this review removed by flagging it as "defamatory content" to Trustpilot.
Trustpilot reviewed it and declined the removal.
2. Sent a formal complaint to Notion's legal department, reporting us for alleged trademark fraud. We were CC'd on this letter, in which they explicitly acknowledge that this action was taken after our Trustpilot review. They further state that they consider our review "unfounded", that they plan to request its removal from Trustpilot, and that they intend to pursue defamation claims against both us and Trustpilot. The retaliatory nature of this complaint speaks for itself.
3. Their public response below sounds professional and empathetic. Behind the scenes, the reality is very different.
I also want to address a key point: if the concern was genuinely about the domain "insta-notion-feed.com", they could have simply disabled that specific domain and kept our other services running. Instead, they chose to ban our entire account, which also included other domains completely unrelated to the alleged trademark issue. A proportionate approach would have been to disable only the domain in question.
Regardless of whether a trademark concern is valid or not, nothing justifies this level of hostility towards a paying customer who remained courteous throughout the entire exchange.

I've been a paying customer and genuinely appreciated the product itself, which works well for what it does.
Unfortunately, my experience with customer support was deeply disappointing. We needed help with SMTP configuration, and our request was denied for "likely trademark infringement" — without any further explanation. It took four back-and-forth exchanges before we finally understood what the actual issue was.
When the reason was eventually clarified, our account was immediately banned with no prior warning, no grace period to migrate our services, and no opportunity to resolve the matter. This is unacceptable for a paying customer acting in good faith, who remained courteous and constructive throughout the entire exchange.
What could have been a simple, constructive conversation — "here's the issue, here's what you need to fix" — turned into an unnecessarily negative experience due to vague responses and a complete lack of empathy.
Cutting off an email service without any notice means potentially losing important emails. This is simply irresponsible. Hard to trust a service that can shut you down overnight without any warning.
