I recently completed my certificate 3 in Business. I absolutely loved completing this course with Foundation Education, and a major part of this reason is because of Lisa B. She was so helpful and kind. She genuinely cared about me and finishing my course which was so amazing to have such great support. Because of Lisa B I am looking at completing more courses through Foundation Education. Thankyou so much !

Over the course of last year I completed my certificate three in Hospitality. I wouldn't have been able to complete it without the assistance of Lisa. B, she assisted me to understand areas of the course that I had difficulty understanding the way certain questions were worded.

they take your money and do not have help when there are problems.

Foundation Education have lovely staff,
But their business premise is built on thugging and scamming.

There learning modules all have broken links
The Knowledge Questions take forever to get marked
There's hidden fees baked within the certificate such as the First Aid certificate they conveniently left out of the sales pitch
Their sales team will harass you about extensions every working day
I've hear stories of foundation education threatening law suits to people who refunded within the right time, so they gave in and paid the four grand.

If you still don't believe me look on Reddit, plenty of people have shared their stories there. Sickening.

Don't listen to the glowing reviews here, trust your gut and go somewhere else.

Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews — I would not recommend this course or RTO to anyone. The information provided at enrolment was misleading, including course duration and payment plans (you won’t receive your certificate until all payments are completed, even if you finish).

The course content is repetitive, outdated and poorly maintained, with broken links and irrelevant videos that often don’t align with assessments. Placement requirements are unreasonable, placing an excessive burden on already overworked supervisors through endless paperwork, inconsistent permission forms, unrealistic video requirements and extremely long workplace observations.

My biggest frustration was marking and feedback. Assessment turnaround times blew out to weeks or months, feedback was delayed, inconsistent and often focused on minor technicalities. This caused constant delays, resubmissions and unnecessary stress, with little accountability or improvement from the provider.

Overall, the assessments lack real-world relevance, focus heavily on regulations over actual educational practice, and take a shallow approach to inclusion and diversity. I am extremely disappointed with the quality, support and cost of this course and strongly urge prospective students to look elsewhere.

Do not be fooled by the "B-Corp" logo or their top billing on sites like Training.com.au and TAFEcourses.com.au

Foundation Education (RTO 22557) is a high-volume enrollment engine with a punitive back-end.

The Strategy:
The Lead Gen: You’ll find them at the top of "Course Comparison" sites like those above. These are *paid referrals*, not independent rankings.

The Reddit Gap: Search r/auscorp or r/AustralianTeachers for "Foundation Education." You will see the difference between their "managed" Trustpilot reviews (which focus on the sales call) and the actual student experience (which focuses on the debt).

Multiple students (including my wife) have found themselves facing increasingly onerous, repetitive and unrealistic tasks that are *only revealed once the theory component is complete*.

Do not be misled by the friendly enrollment calls. Foundation Education (RTO 22557) uses a high-pressure sales model that locks you into a $4,000–$6,000 debt almost immediately.

The Pattern to Watch For:

* The Window: You are given a 5-day cooling-off period. Whistleblowers report that *login access is often delayed* until after this window closes.

* The Default: If you realise the course isn't for you on Day 6, they will not let you out. They will demand the full fee, even if you haven't started.

* The Enforcement: They don't just send emails. They refer you to Bluechip Collections, which is run by the same people as Boss Lawyers. This means you aren't just dealing with a "bill"—you are dealing with a litigation firm that can take you to the Magistrates Court.

Before You Sign:

* Demand portal access before the cooling-off period starts.

* Research "Bluechip Collections" and "Boss Lawyers Mark Harley" to see how they operate.

* Record every phone call with your "Student Advisor."

Verdict: They are brilliant at sales, but their "Student Support" is often a gateway to a litigation firm. If you aren't 100% sure, do not give them your details.

The "B-Corp" Shield: They use their parent company’s (Arowana) ethical certification to build trust. But ask yourself: Does an ethical company refer students to Bluechip Collections and Boss Lawyers the moment a 5-day window closes?

Do your research and save yourself significant time and money.

I had student support with Lisa B, who helped me finalise an assessment and work through it step by step so it was ready for submission. She genuinely cared, was incredibly helpful, and explained everything clearly. She was also really lovely and supportive, which made the whole process much less stressful.
