We have been using 414 for over a decade to create structures for some of our most important global clients. Their work and communication is what you would expect from a professional company. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone who demands quality and service.

Shaun, Luc and the team at Four One Four have done a great job on all of the events whenever i have worked with them. Very polite, punctual and the quality of the service/ramps provided is easily the best in the country if not Europe. I highly recommend them.

I ordered a self build ramp from 414 without realising that any ramp in a garden with a platform (that you stand on) over 0.3m high will require planning permission. A shed is a permitted development and doesnt need planning but a ramp does because of the platforms. When I found this out I had to put the order on hold whilst I obtained permission but it was denied by the council "due to adverse noise and disturbance affecting surrounding gardens and properties”. This is despite the fact that all my neighbours had been informed and had been positive about it. I was able to cancel my order and got (most of) my money back but there is no mention of even the possibility of planning permission being needed anywhere on their website. 414 were very helpful so no real complaints there - they just need to be upfront about this on their website. Have suggested its added to their FAQs but nothing on there yet. You could take the risk and build a ramp without planning and you might be fine but all it would take is for someone to complain and you would have to remove it, potentially losing a lot of money.

Just bought a self build ramp off the guys at 414 and the service, communication and support, and above all the ramp are amazing!
If you’re looking for a ramp at home, and want quality, service and peace of mind, go with these guys.

Four One Four built Phase 1 of our park back in autumn 2018 and continue to help us build Phase 2. Their entire team is hard working and professional and their craftsmanship is next level. Our park was slightly different from the norm as we wanted some bespoke features but they always approach every challenge in a creative way, providing solutions which are functional and aesthetically excellent and nothing is too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend them.
