I have Fourth Frontier X2 and it’s brilliant. Particularly with a premium subscription, there’s lots of data to analyse - or you can leave it all the algorithms! A real selling point is the support - very helpful and always wanting to help. 5 stars!

I have had a Fourth Frontier X2 for some time. I am an older athlete. I had some different patterns on the ECG traces during exercise which I wasn't sure about. I raised a question with Fourth Frontier and within an hour got an appointment with one of their medical technicians. On the call she went through all of the patterns explaining what was a trace and what was interference, such as during strength training where chest muscle activity can effect the trace. She also went through very helpfully the other parameters such as HRV, etc.. Really helpful call and hats off to the best customer service I have ever experienced.

The product, the X2, is amazing and just what I needed as I'm a 72 year old former competetive runner, then cyclist for the last fifty years. I have suffered from Afib for the last nine years and continue to exercise and train as before though having the additional information provided by the X2 is extremely helpful for me and my cardiologist. I am most impressed, however, with the personal attention I've received while this old guy attempts to learn the intricacies of this truly valuable product. I have contacted the company several times during my learning curve and the staff, especially Poonam, has been kind, attentive and patient. Always following up to check that I'm satisfied and things are working to my expectation.
I simply cannot recommend both the product and staff highly enough.

5 stars and well deserved. After a few years my FF HRM was becoming problematic. It took a beating so I was not surprised. Just before a major cycling event it stopped recording my ECG. I have some heart challenges so I monitor my ECG carefully. This was a big cycling event in three days. I contacted customer support and they FEDXed a new device to the hotel I was staying at in approximately 24 hours from when I first called them. The customer service rep. Sahid followed up repeatedly with me and made sure the process was flawless! Totally awesome customer service. I got the new device with plenty of time before my cycling event.

I have found this product to be seriously substandard. I tried it for about 2 months, for cycling, swimming, fitness and sleeping. The results were useless, as it often lost connection in the middle of a cycle ride, rarely recorded more than a few minutes of a swim, and then even on recordings where it did not lose connection, the ECG was intermittent or large parts were missing. I was in continuous contact with their help desk, who although helpful, their advice made no difference and was very time consuming.
Still not working, and third party seller agreed a refund. Fourth Frontier refunded the money I had paid for the premium version of the app. Very sad that this product didn’t work, as I wanted long term health information, but at least the experience has not left me out of pocket.

I own a Frontier X. When it works it gaves really rich data. The problem is it rarely works as expected, in fact it's often a massive faff. It sometimes won't switch on. sometimes won't charge. Sometimes won't sync. It's just unreliable. Oh and the lag between changes in effort and recorded changes in heart rate is also longer than other devices I've used.

This is by far the best heart rate monitor on the market! I'm currently in cardiac rehabilitation after experiencing a heart issue while training for a mountain trail race. I bought an X2 monitor 18 months ago. There have been various issues along the way and trying to get through to customer service hasn't always been a positive experience. However, after recognising that the battery has been slowly dying I contacted them again. I went through the usual difficulties of navigating the 'Your ticket is now closed' when nothing had in fact been done to eventually arrive at an agreement to have the device replaced with a reconditioned one. I was instructed to return the faulty device along with the charging cable, straps, booklets etc. which I did. A week later I have received an empty box and a loose device, but no charging cable, no straps (how on earth am I supposed to charge and use it?) Nothing of any use. This is the final insult of the way they treat their customers. It doesn't matter whether the device (when it works) is good at capturing how the heart responds to exercise when the company treat their customers with such distain. Keep well away from them.
Update: On 25 July I received a reply saying "...we immediately arranged for the missing accessories to be shipped to you. In light of this, we'd be sincerely grateful if you would consider updating or removing your review on Trustpilot. We've taken corrective action. ..."
On 29 July I received another reply saying : "...I appreciate your patience as we worked to resolve the issue by arranging for the missing accessories to be shipped out promptly. I also wanted to kindly check if you had a chance to update or remove your review on Trustpilot. ..."
On informing them that I still hadn't received the missing items, I was later sent a reply stating: "...Your device is ready to be shipped..."
I lose faith in people who spend more effort in trying to get me to remove my review than to putting the issue right. Their priorities are themselves rather than their customers.
I have now, on the 30th received the missing items.
I have updated my review and I will not be removing it.

The X plus provides truly a medical grade ECG. I am a physician with both atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. The X plus provides a comfortable and accurate way to monitor 24 hour ECGs both during activity and sleep. It is both more convenient and gives a better read than electrode based systems that I have used, which often fall off or cause skin irritation.

I bought this expensive product nearly a year ago. It has never worked for Afib recording in spite of registering the fault with the help desk. I worked with them for a number of months and they refused to either replace or refund. As an update it worked fine on my spn sobot appears not to recognise Afib, in my case anyway. The beat I have acheived is 24% reading buy I accept that it works on a normal health person without arrythmia.
