Awesome. thanks for their jobs and just continue but it would be better if you did more certificate courses on some popular frameworks like Nextjs, or others. Great job !

I met a software engineer (SWE) who recommends this
I interacted with a software engineer August of last year and when I asked how to become a SWE he recommended fcc. Having almost knocked out their CSS section I see why! I went from a complete beginner, as in not even understanding the difference between HTML and CSS, to doing my own projects, including a crawler, where I'm debugging myself because I actually understand the code. Does fcc have its issues? Of course and anyone who says no is insane. The reality is, if you're pursuing coding because you enjoy it and wanna use it like I do, this is a great resource. I'm sure there's plenty of room in the market for us all since so few people are becoming SWEs. Can you just complete fcc to become a SWE? No, and anyone who says you can knows little/nothing. The only real way to learn is to do your own projects outside of the site. fcc is a seriously good resource for beginners and I'm going to continue scaling because I'm interested in bringing some products to market.
outdated lessons unfortunately
outdated lessons unfortunately. I hope they adapt and change syllabus as this is the age of AI where its better to use and learn from chatGPT than learning from their platform.

Learned coding faster than i thought
Learned coding faster than i thought, The full stack course is very good and im currently learning, so far very good. Giving these out with a free certificate is awesome
Good but lessons aren't very descriptive.
I really appreciate it being free and dedicated to helping people learn coding regardless of them being able to pay or not, but the courses aren't exactly beginner friendly. The lessons aren't descriptive enough for those without any experience to understand, and most of the time people won't be able to complete labs with the knowledge they've attained from freeCodeCamp lessons. So yeah, I guess it would help to you know, add more to lessons and make sure to cover all important details.
A little bit taught for a beginner
A little bit taught for a beginner to understand at first, but it makes more challenging it. I managed to finish a few courses even it took much time. Some more explanation on courses will improve this site.

The website is good but I can not recommend the discord Server because of the Staff Members, very unfriendly and dont accept other oppinions.
I am not unfamiliar with HTML
I am not unfamiliar with HTML, and I wanted to get certificates as I've been coding for years. I thought I would go through the course without problems. The machine keeps failing me on the correct work. It drives you up the wall as you hit a wall and you cannot get past the bug.
I'm all for free learning tools but...
I'm all for free learning tools (if you ignore the donation nag screen every few lessons or so) and admire their dedication to provide this. Using this site is not too bad, but not a top notch experience. The online editor is a bit clunky and doesn't provide niceties like predictive text (so you're copying/pasting variable/function names or having to type them out char by char). There is, however, one fairly major problem: your answers must be literally identical to what the lesson expects, even if your answer is perfectly, functionally correct. For example: I submitted "(var1 + (var2 * var3))", which was reported as incorrect. What was expected was "(var1 + var2 * var3)!! It's a pain as it makes you think you've made a genuine mistake so not particularly conducive to the learning experience.

It doesn't let my code pass even when I do everything right. Fix this, codecamp.

The content is fine although there is better. The nagging for donations is annoying and there is better content out there. Do not agree to donate or you will only get out of it by sending them an email. Which for an organisation that promotes itself as a charity is very underhand.
Over Rated. Don't actually teach you much.
I'm doing the Javascript algorithms course, almost done it actually! But finding I'm not actually learning much cause they just say "Write this code" but there's not nearly enough explanation as too what the code is doing, so even though you may pass, you don't actually gain any understanding of how the code you wrote works. I end up having to google things and look at tutorials to understand things so....what's the point?

Can't understand how people can praise this course
Not sure if an actual person wrote this course because it is so badly explained and written that is hard to believe a human did that.
It feels as if no one proofread or checked if it even makes sense. Many steps and explanations are skipped and it creates great confusion.
Moreover, the moderators on the forums, that are supposed to help you, treat you like you are stupid for not knowing the answer, making it seem like the answer is so obvious, like how could not see where you went wrong.
I am very close to finishing my JavaScript certification, but I think afterwards I'll continue someplace else.
freeCodeCamp experience
I used freeCodeCamp for only 3 month for learning html and css and my experience is not good, the explication are bad write and not expose why we need to do this.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is just starting out in programming precisely because of the few and unclear explanations.
a serious negative point is that the explanations are only in English with the possibility of automatically translating them with google translate, really disappointing.
there is no forum for help and the advice is cryptic
On the other hand, the site is well done and the sponsor bear is very cute
Mobile access could be better, but overall a great website!
I've learned a lot from this website and thank them a lot for teaching me most of what I know about coding. I've learned HTML, CSS, and a bit of Javascript from them, and all for free too!
I tried to learn on this site
I tried to learn on this site, but you can’t understand anything, at least in the instructions, and there are no adequate people on the forum, they don’t know how to explain anything.
Dishonest and deleting negative feedback
Started their GO course on YouTube which linked to an interactive web application for programming and running the code.
After two short Chapters the third one basically forces you to get a Premium membership otherwise your only able to see the code without any possibility to run in.
I wouldn't mind that at all, if the course would've been honest about this upfront. When I voiced my frustration about this in an appropriate and calm way - as I due here - they just deleted my comment after a few seconds.
While this explains why all the comments under the video were positive or off-topic, it also explains why a video with ofter 400k views only has about 250 comments.
