Nuestra experiencia con French Building Company frenchbuildingcompany.com
ha sido, literalmente, una pesadilla. En febrero de 2025 les contratamos para realizar una reforma integral en nuestra vivienda en Marbella, confiando en su supuesta profesionalidad y experiencia. Fue una decisión de la que nos arrepentimos profundamente.
El proyecto debía durar como máximo dos meses. Sin embargo, tras cuatro meses y medio de retrasos, abandono total y absoluta falta de responsabilidad, tuvimos que impedirles que siguieran accediendo a nuestra vivienda para evitar más destrozos.
Durante este tiempo nos encontramos con:
- Semanas de abandono total de la obra.
- Cero supervisión por parte del responsable.
- Operarios sin cualificación, sin permisos de trabajo ni documentación legal.
- Acabados en paredes y techos de pésima calidad, peor que al inicio.
- Materiales pagados que nunca llegaron.
- Electrodomésticos y mobiliario en perfecto estado dañados (lavadora, caldera, sanitarios, muebles nuevos).
- Escombros y suciedad acumulados en la vivienda sin retirar.
- Silencio absoluto durante semanas, sin responder a mensajes ni llamadas.
- Jamás se nos facilitó un plazo de finalización, pese a insistir en numerosas ocasiones.
Finalmente, tuvimos que contratar a otra empresa para reparar todos los desperfectos y finalizar la obra, duplicando el presupuesto inicial, a pesar de haberlo cerrado desde el principio. Aun así, tenemos daños estructurales que no pueden ser reparados.
French Building Company trabaja sin ninguna transparencia, con una dirección postal vinculada a una vivienda particular sin relación con la empresa y sin presencia en Google Maps. Descubrimos esta información demasiado tarde.
El daño económico y emocional que hemos sufrido es enorme. Comparto esta reseña con el único objetivo de que nadie más vuelva a pasar por esta situación.
La falta de profesionalidad, responsabilidad y respeto hacia el cliente y su propiedad es absolutamente inaceptable.

Our experience with French Building Company (frenchbuildingcompany.com) has been, quite literally, a nightmare. In February 2025, we hired them to carry out a full renovation of our home in Marbella, trusting in their supposed professionalism and experience. It is a decision we deeply regret.
The project was supposed to last no more than two months. However, after four and a half months of delays, total abandonment, and a complete lack of responsibility, we were forced to prevent them from entering our home to avoid further damage.
During this time, we faced:
Weeks of total abandonment of the project.
Zero supervision from the person in charge.
Unqualified workers, without work permits or legal documentation.
Wall and ceiling finishes of appalling quality, worse than at the beginning.
Paid materials that never arrived.
Appliances and brand-new furniture damaged (washing machine, boiler, bathroom fixtures, new furniture).
Debris and dirt left behind in the home, never removed.
Complete silence for weeks, with no replies to messages or calls.
Never once were we given a completion date, despite repeatedly asking.
In the end, we had to hire another company to repair the damage and finish the renovation, doubling the original budget, even though it had been agreed upon from the start. Even so, we are left with structural damage that cannot be repaired.
French Building Company operates with no transparency, using a postal address linked to a private residence unrelated to the company and with no presence on Google Maps. Unfortunately, we discovered this information too late.
The financial and emotional damage we have suffered is enormous. I am sharing this review solely to prevent anyone else from going through the same ordeal.
The lack of professionalism, responsibility, and respect towards the client and their property is absolutely unacceptable.
