Shocking customer service
I ordered through Tesco market place 10 days ago. Delivery was set for a day I chose- great. Plenty of updates and arrived within time window. Unfortunately whole 9 seater sofa set arrived in one huge box that would not go through garage and was just left in door way.
This wasn’t worst of problems. Table couldn’t not be put together due to completely misaligned holes. This was reported on day of delivery. ( Monday) quickly responded to say would collect and send replacement- collection happened on Friday after several emails to clarify and chase.
No sign of replacement. Sent several emails to be ignored had to keep opening new complaint on Tesco website as phone voicemail box constantly full regardless of time of calling. Repeatedly told it had been dispatched but DPD app stating waiting to receive. After well over a week when I just told them to refund and come and collect rest of set it appears that DPD now have my parcel and it will be delivered today.
Hopefully it will and it will be end of problem but thanks to poor communication, lack of actual support and poorly worded ( bad English) emails I’m not holding my breathe.
Surely ignoring customers emails isn’t customer services. Not answering phone or having a way of communicating in person is poor. Why did it take 10 days for DPD to finally receive a next day delivery???
Customer service needs to improve as does quality control.
