Incredibly helpful staff. Billing issue on my side and it was quickly resolved with 1 email.

Our son completed his first year at Fusion in June 2026 and for the 1st time in his life, he went into the summer sad that school was over. By August he declared, "the bonus of loving school is that it makes the summer go by so slowly."

We came to Fusion for an individualized education for our 7th grader. He simply did not know how to learn in a traditional classroom. He read at an advanced level, but could not hold a pencil. Despite IEP accommodations, we had no understanding of what our student knew. His school environment led to severe anxiety that grew with the days. Hope was dwindling and our learning goals turned to goals of staying in school for a full day.

One tour of Fusion changed everything. In 10 minutes, I found my lost hope. My son left his Fusion visit saying, "I'm in."

At Fusion Minneapolis, the 1:1 learning and daily reporting allow us to truly know what our son learns. The clubs, community lunch hangout and homework cafe provide valuable social connections. The new admin staff is phenomenal. We had no idea this school existed and are so incredibly glad we explored it and enrolled our son! Did I mention no take home homework? GAME CHANGER.

When Dane left traditional high school, we honestly didn't know what the future would look like.

We knew he was intelligent. We knew he was kind. But anxiety had become so overwhelming that school no longer felt like a place where he could learn or succeed. As parents, watching your child lose confidence in themselves is heartbreaking.

Fusion Academy gave us something we hadn't found anywhere else—a school that didn't try to fit Dane into a system. Instead, they built the learning experience around who Dane is.

The one-to-one classrooms allowed his teachers to truly know him, not just as a student, but as a person. They celebrated his strengths, understood his challenges, and patiently helped him rebuild something far more important than grades: his confidence.

Today, I see a completely different young man.

He asks questions. He tackles things that used to intimidate him. He wants to learn. He tries new things instead of assuming he'll fail. The confidence that was buried under years of anxiety is beginning to shine through, and there is no greater gift a parent can receive than watching their child believe in themselves again.

At graduation, Dane gave what he jokingly called his "not a speech." Listening to him speak with confidence in front of family, teachers, and classmates was a moment I wasn't sure we'd ever experience. It wasn't just a graduation from high school—it was the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Fusion didn't simply help Dane earn a diploma.

They helped him rediscover who he was.

If you're a parent searching for answers, wondering if your child will ever feel successful in school again, I want you to know that there is hope. Sometimes the right answer isn't asking your child to change. Sometimes it's finding a school willing to change for your child.

We will always be grateful to Naomi, Meghan, and every teacher who believed in Dane before he fully believed in himself.

My student went from hating the public school and failing most of his classes to loving school and getting As and Bs! The teachers know how to engage the students and get them excited about learning!

I enrolled my teen at fusion academy, and it's been a great experience. The one-on-one teaching really helped boost their confidence, especially in math and science. The teachers are patient and really cares about how each student learns. The enviroment feels safe, welcoming and supportive. My child actually enjoys going to school now, which was never the case before. Highly recommend if your kids needs a personalized approach to learning.

The school is hourly paid tutors within the Fusion building. The staff for the most part do care about the education of the students and are skilled teachers but the administration tends to enforce ridiculous rules about when the students can leave for lunch, how many can be in a room together and the use of phones for writing and assignments. I would not recommend. Stay in public and get a tutor as needed. Fusion will not prepare them for college.

We have had a positive experience thus far. Anxiety decreasing, confidence increasing and learning happening. Really appreciate the partnership.

We worked closely with the head of school, the director of student development, and a teacher whom our high schooler connected with and they were all fantastic (!!) - very patient, responsive and tuned into our student's needs and anxiety about school. The individual teachers have versatile backgrounds and training and this allows them to connect with the whole student for a better learning experience vs. teaching a subject "at them". We had a very positive experience.

Jennifer Huang has been a tremendous teacher/tutor in helping our daughter with achieving her goals with Algebra II this semester.

Our son has really loved his teacher at Fusion Academy in Edina. She has really accommodated his special needs, make him feel competent, partnered with him where appropriate, and helped him to grow in his academic confidence. He has said to me that, "she is the best teacher I have ever had." That means the world to us considering he has not at all been successful in any public or charter school.
