If anyone is going to Gatwick and considering parking there don’t ever use these guys!!
I dropped my car off on the 11th had no problem was very easy, I get back to Gatwick a week later to find they had left scratches on the interior of my car which I didn’t get pictures of, I then saw they had unplugged my dashcam so they could drive my car however they wanted without me being able to see and clearly wherever they wanted!! When they brought my car back to me the guy was racing around the car park and then realised I was standing waiting for my car and slowed down! And then after I saw the scratches I looked round the car to see if there was any other damaged and my bumper had been dented outwards so they have clearly hit something like a bollard maybe?? I know it’s nothing major but it’s still going to cost to get it fixed!! The parking cost over £100 and they return the car like this 😩 also left the car absolutely filthy on the inside, I’d rather carry my luggage on a train next time! Also not to mention when they brought my car back to me parked it illegally in the car park so now also expecting a fine to come through as well

Never use this company.

When we arrived to drop the car off, the man informed us that instead of paying for parking and giving him the paid for ticket, we needed to give him £6. We questioned this as this was not what was wrote in the instructions. We ended up giving the man the £6 as he said otherwise he would not accept the car. We were looking at booking another holiday whilst away and noticed galaxy parking was no longer on the site we had booked through. When searching further we found all the recent reviews on here. We ended up needing to fly home early due to a family emergency. We rang the company 6 hours before we were going to be back and explained the situation. A very pleasant gentleman said that the car would be ready if we rang when we landed and although we hadn’t given 24 hours notice, it didn’t matter. When we landed, we rang the number. It was a very abrupt, rude man who told us that we hadn’t rang previously and that the car was blocked in and couldn’t be moved, unless I had a spare key and could come and get it myself. I explained that we had called previously and even offered to leave a different contact number incase there was an issue moving cars but he reassured us there wouldn’t. The very rude man on the phone started telling me ‘you have an option here don’t you’. When asked what that option was, I was told if I wanted my car tonight, I would have to pay him. When asked how much, the man went quiet and then said £40. I queried this and said ‘so you’re telling me I can’t have my car back until I pay you £40?’. The man kept repeating ‘£40 or no car’. I said I would discuss this with the others I was with as it didn’t seem right. Within 1 minute, the man had sent me his PERSONAL bank details and put ‘£40’ next to it. We made the decision to transfer the money due to it being an emergency we needed to get back for. Luckily, the man who delivered our car back to us was very polite and definitely not the same man we spoke to on the phone. No receipt or invoice could be provided for the additional £40. I would never use this company again.

We’ve received a £100 fine for our vehicle being parked illegally while it was I. The care of Galaxy Parking!
They won’t answer the Phone or emails to us!
I have no choice but to pay!
Do not use this company!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This company should not be allowed to operate. Left us in a freezing cold car park waiting for our car for 3 hours from 11.10pm to 02.20am. They were incredibly rude to us even though I hadn’t raised my voice at all at the 2 hour mark (a miracle considering the circumstances), impossible to get hold of when you’re waiting for your car, and often just hang up on you. They also tell multiple lies when they’re on the phone to you. He lied about the name of the company, the name of the CEO, he promised a refund considering the appalling service (he said he’d processed it that night, which I knew was another lie). If you try to call their customer service line, you’ll be on hold for 30 mins+, all for them to hang up after 10 seconds if you mention the words ‘bad service’ or ‘refund’. These are con men, we were lucky not to have any damage to our car, they treated us like dirt and this company needs to be put out of business ASAP before they cause any more damage. We were both ill after our late night stint in the cold, thanks to them. Booked them through a third-party agent who managed to give us a 25% refund but couldn’t get them to give us anything else, also won’t be using the third party agent again because they should be black listing this company from their provider list.

Good service

No idea why these negative reviews are here. Drop off was smooth enough, they were just busy. Pick up was excellent, call answered promptly & car back 24minutes. No damage whatsoever.

The people you speak to are completely rude had problems when I dropped my car off, when I collected after waiting well over an hour was sworn at repeatably, then noticed my car was driving different on way home, I have a corsa turbo, now without the turbo parts have been removed from my car, when you go to complain the email address don’t work, the phone numbers work but the people are rude and police don’t want to know. DONT BOOK

Nearly half a tank of petrol gone, 130 extra miles on the clock, food remains and tomato sauce on centre consul, half empty bottle of beer in back footwell, broken rear view Mirror (which has resulted in brake assist need repairing) sat nav history cleared down and to top it all, the next day I realised that the front of the car had been hit - number plate and holder smashed, “chunk” out of the bodywork. I have sent pictures as requested and now they are just laughing at me when I ring.
Feel so embarrassed that I didn’t read reviews earlier but why is this company still being offered on the comparison sites.really upset, had my car less than 4 weeks

We parked with this company as normal, everything was okay when we left our car at the dodgy bit of land in front of a garage.

When we came back from our holiday in turkey, it took these guys over an hour to come pick me and my partner up, we called them every so often during that hour with the guy on the phone giving us a different excuse and time for picking us up, he also got very aggressive over the phone when we kept calling him out on his rubbish. He also said that the motorway was closed but we googled the motorway at the time and it was open. When we finally got picked up from the wrong place we was told to stand. we drove on the motorway which was apparently closed and when we got back to the car parking, we was told we would get a full refund if we emailed infogatwickairportparkingspaces.co.uk as to which, we received an email back offering us 25% off our next parking stay with them, as to which I declined and expressed our issues again. We’ve been ignored since the 26th of april about our situation.

AVOID!!!!

AVOID!! My car came back damaged. As soon as I pulled away my breaks were making an horrendous noise. I’d literally had an MOT a few days before so I knew there hadn’t been anything wrong with them before! Then I got a message on the car saying a tyre change had been detected! I need to take my car to a garage to see if they took any parts off my car and replaced them with old ones. When we arrived at the airport we waited ages for their transport to arrive. There was no help with opening doors or lifting suitcases. When we arrived back at the muddy site where my car was the driver handed my keys over without even asking for proof the car was mine! I could have stollen anyone’s car easily! Can’t get through to talk to anyone on the number given. It doesn’t even work!

I wish to make a complaint concerning your service and total failure to respond

I wish In had read the universally adverse reviews before booking. My experience is copied from my complaint below. Needless to say, there has never been any reply despite reminders and the company has now disabled its email address:

I wish to make a complaint concerning the above booking- specifically the return of my Mercedes S-Class index X 600 SAJ on Monday 11th March. My complaints are the following:

1. Return of car. I called @ 1619 to say I had landed. I was told that the car would be returned in 30 minutes. I was at the location specified @ 1640, so well within the 30 minutes specified. At 1641 there was a missed call from you. I called back @ 1648 to say that I had not seen any of your staff and was told that "we can't wait" and that your staff member had already departed and left the key on the car tyre (which was the case). This is unacceptable: (i) because I was there to collect the car within the time notified, and (ii) I was not asked for permission to have the security of the car put at risk in this way.

2. Use of the car while in your care.

(i) The car had been driven approx. 40 miles while in your care. This is clearly in excess of the distance to and from your depot and indicates an element of joy-riding (all too common I understand with airport parking companies). This was evidenced by the following:

(ii) The driving seat was almost completely reclined on re-delivery.

(iii) The car had been deliberately put into Sports mode.

(ii) The CD console repeatedly showed an error and the CD player was inoperable as a result. This has not happened before in the life of this car, worth initially over £ 100,000.

3. The above complaints could not be "brought to the attention of [y]our representative upon collection" because he had already left.

4. Kindly let me have a detailed response, along with your proposals for compensation, within 7 days from today. Your response is likely to affect the terms of my online review of the service I have received. I should add that I have never before received such poor service from any airport parking company, and I shall not be using your company again.

NEVER EVER USE

NEVER EVER USE. They are rogues. My car was in an appalling state. 2hrs we had to wait for it to be returned, standing in a car park freezing cold. Only now to receive an NCP penalty as they didn't pay the Airport parking charges. Horrendous cowboys. They never pick up the phone. I hope people avoid using you in the future as you are a disgrace as a service provider.

Do not book

Would highly recommend to not book with this company.

On top of the amount you’ll pay, you’ll have to pay for your parking to go into the area and out on your return (they are not transparent with this information) it’s in their small print after you book.

The wait time for the return of your car is lengthy despite calling in advance.

To top it off, my car arrived back damaged!!!

I have called the complaints number and no one answers. I have emailed a few times and no one bothers to come back to you. Avoid!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Galaxy parking. During my recent visit to their car parking facility, I encountered rude staff who insisted on taking our car keys despite our concerns about valuable GPS equipment inside. When we requested information about the parking location and the company's insurance provider, they refused to provide any details, displaying a lack of transparency.

To make matters worse, when we finally agreed to leave our keys, the staff members abruptly left in the transfer bus, leaving us stranded with no clear instructions, just three hours before our departure. The only communication we received was from someone with poor English proficiency, directing us to email for a refund. We emailed and no reply!!!!!

This experience has left us deeply concerned, especially after reading similar negative reviews on platforms like Trustpilot, indicating a pattern of damaging vehicles and poor customer service. We demand an immediate refund and an explanation for the unprofessional conduct of the staff.

We expect a prompt response and resolution of these issues.

When I landed in airport I call them they came to parking and guy told me I am going and I put key in front tyre I said why u should wait and give my car then u can go he said no I am going then I call again main office number he send another driver after that my car was used something else my car was full pack off rubbish and smoking ashes when I call he was very rude and they drive my car more than 25 miles when I asked he said we are only 5 miles away from airport then I ask them why my gas driven more than 25 miles he cut my phone I would never ever recommend anyone so please don’t waist your money this crap company I useless

Obviously suspicious activity has taken place however the police have now been informed so hopefully they'll get what's coming to them 😡 Please avoid this joke of a company or you may come back to a damaged car or even worse no car at all!!!!

Cowboys - DO NOT USE

Don’t use this company they’re cowboys. Fortunately I got my car back but they had blocked my number on return to Gatwick so when I landed I couldn’t get through to any of their listed numbers and had no idea where to meet for my pickup to the compound. A very kind man at Gatwick info called from his phone and managed to get through, threatened legal action and escorted me to the van that they eventually picked me up in an hour later. As a solo female this was all very stressful and I had no idea what state my car would be in. Fortunately it was just filthy but I do think the fuel gauge is broken. DO NOT USE. UNPROFESSIONAL.
