A brilliant service.
We ordered the timber for our new decking & pergola on Wednesday, got a call later to say it would be delivered on Friday at 8am. Despite the difficulties in parking up our road at that time of day, the delivery arrived at 7:45. The driver was great & happy to wait for our neighbours to move their cars. A great service…thank you.

Driver couldn't do enough to ensure the Aggregate was unloaded and placed in the place of our choosing, even taking into consideration the people around us that have trouble parking in a sensible place.

Outstanding customer service and a veritable Aladdin's cave
Just popped into my local (Burgess Hill) Gardner & Scardfield shop, hoping they could help me fix an issue with my Christmas tree stand as my tree is perfectly fine but it didn't fit my new base.
As always, Tracey could not have been more helpful. She put her thinking cap on to consider how best to sort the problem for me, enlisted the help of another colleague and within a matter of minutes I came away with a tree which is now secure and won't fall over.
I am quite certain lots of people probably would never think to pop into G&S, choosing instead to go to one of the other big name hardware places nearby. I strongly urge people to pop in to G&S though as it is an absolute Aladdin's cave and their staff are honestly out of this world.

Couldn't get what I wanted from my local branch (P5 chipboard) but... after I had put the phone down they came back to me with an email saying that another branch would be in touch with me and when they did they offered next day delivery. Good price and good communication.
