Absolutely unbeatable value for money!

You are getting your money's worth even with the smallest vms as they are not oversubscribed as is the usual case with hosting providers.

Very transparent pricing model, no hidden or unusual network traffic costs, great choice of both the VM flavors as well as types of storage.

But above all, unbelievable support and guidance. I have never experienced such willingness to help your customer out, including educating them on how to approach something properly in the realm of the "cloud".

One off vms are great (I use one of them to host my blog) but where the experience becomes sublime is with the OpenStack cloud. The docs, the provided scripts on the jumphost, the unbelievable support, all this means you can set up fairly intricate backends at a fraction of effort/cost it would take you to do so at other places.

I am so happy I found Genesis Hosting through a friend and so grateful all my woes related to setting up infrastructure are finally over! I know I can use Genesis Hosting for whatever I might reasonably need right now or in the future, and if I run into any roadblocks, I can reach out for help by logging a ticket.

I can say enough about the support I received tonight from Eric Miller (support) at Genesis hosting. After what we believe was an OS update gone wrong, my server would not boot. Unfortunately I'm not as good a sysadmin with Ubuntu so I was in a real bind with the server being down. Well Eric came to the rescue and assisted by troubleshooting to find out it was a network issue preventing the OS from booting. Once he cleared the issue I was BACK IN BUSINESS! I can't say enough about his wonderful support! He very much saved the day!

I’ve been using a virtual machine from Genesis Hosting for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance and service. The setup process was incredibly smooth, and within minutes, I had a fully functional VM up and running.

These guys have been so extremely helpful and patient that its hard to put in words, and if I did find a way to put it in words, no one would believe it. I'm a developer, not a devops guy, and GenesisHosting really held my hand the entire way, answering all my questions, guiding me with great advice.. really beyond words. I can't yet rate the actual server experience as its only been a few weeks, but so far so good. This has been the case for both the VM option, as well as the cloud/openstack option.

Couldn't recommend them more.

The bandwidth is acceptable (my main complaint that I had with my old provider), the machines are ok, the service is cool (for now) and the price is awesome.

So I recommend it. (I have 2 services with them).
