Homethings Reviews

Excellent customer service - even though the error was almost certainly mine. Love the products I've used and have a subscription for the most used ones.

When I had a query with opening the bottle catch, I received a prompt personal email from one of the owner who was very helpful. I haven't had a chance to try all the items in their introductory bundle but so far the loo rolls are indeed strong and absorbent though deceptively thin. The washing up liquid lathers well where you don't need a lot to wash well. The dishwasher tablet is as effective as the supermarket ones yet safe in the knowledge that it doesn't contain any nasty chemicals. Have not tried the loo cleaner and floor cleaner so cannot comment.

Really loving all my Homethings things!
Clean ingredients & a lot less pesky packaging

Great service, I like that I’m using an eco product!

So pleased again with my order, and added the new loo rolls to my usual order and they are great! But i still think the star is the loo cleaner - better than anything else I have used from supermarkets. And no plastics! Thank you, keep up the good work.

I like this company. The products work differently in using enzymes instead of detergent. The cleaning is effective without destroying my skin. I know I should wear gloves but I don't and these products don't split my skin. The floor cleaner is really good. Astonishing how much dirt it lifts. It's more expensive of course. I wish it wasn't.

Love the new loo rolls. Not entirely convinced about the need to individually wrap them, but I hear your rationale. The laundry sheets have been excellent too, and I’ve just started using some of the cleaning sprays, it’s so nice not to have to smell all the chemicals that the mainstream brands pack into their bathroom sprays.

pleased with it will buy the wash up again

Loo things seem to work well. No plastic does not mean poor quality

Great products Reliably environment focussed Easy ordering Quick delivery

Love the quality, love the smell great items

Very happy with these products. They work really well, which is the main criteria. They have great green credentials and it is convenient to be able to get everything in one place.
Order to delivery very efficient too. Delighted to have found this company

My order arrived quickly. I like the laundry sheets for certain washes, although I usually use non bio ones.
Thank you.

The products are lovely and the packaging great. No plastic in sight! What's not to love. x

Homethings Eco Dishwasher Tablets.
Purchased in July. I was hoping for an alternative to Ecover now they have been taken over and are no longer such an ethical brand. Tablets Ineffective in dishwasher. Items remained dirty and oily.
Contacted customer services who insisted the tablets worked, but said I could return if I paid return postage which seems very unfair! Why should I pay postage for a product that does not do what they advertise?
I decided to keep trying. It’s now November. They do not work on Auto or Eco programmes. A thick, disgusting and very sticky sludge is left on the filter and surrounding area which is removed by hot water and Ecover washing up liquid. Items are left dirty and greasy - from olive oil, yogurt and porridge?!? I am not cooking meat gravy or battered gunk; I scrape plates before putting them in the dishwasher.
The tabs are only effective in the hottest intensive programme which uses most electricity and water - I prefer to use the eco programme! This makes me believe that it is the hot water doing the cleaning and not the tablets.
I have returned to using Ecover. It is not perfect, but it does clean well on low energy / low water use cycles.
I discourage anyone from buying Homethings Eco Dishwasher tablets.

This is not an unprompted review. The link to review my experience on Trustpilot was in the email response sent by Homethings when I asked about their refund policy.

It smells great and it's easy to put the tablets/capsules in the bottle. It almost makes me look forward to cleaning as I like the smell!

I like that all the packaging is recyclable 😊

Love the dishwasher tablets Thank you
.

I bought washing up liquid. Easy to make and has lovely scent. Works well too. Might switch from Splosh as their washing up liquid has been out of stock for so long..

Love the smell of the floor cleaner. Packaging is compact and no plastic.
