Product doesn't work and terrible customer service
What went wrong? The company decided to charge me $309 for product that I had not yet gotten, I had gotten the trial spray but apparently they don't even give it time to see if it works, instead they charge you and don't even tell you until the day that they charge you, which is approximately only two weeks, they don't send any reminders or bother to give the product time to show results, and as of today nothing has changed except they charged more money, then when I requested a cancellation and a refund, it didn't happen. Apparently you can't get one because they claim that it's 'tailored' to my yard, which cannot be true since a soil sample has not even been returned, which is part of the trial sample. When I called they wouldn't give me a manager/supervisor, claiming that they would just tell me the same thing, I still requested to speak to one then they said they can submit a 'ticket' for me and then they would 'get back' to me, which is probably also a lie. I am so tired of companies or even supervisors hired to handle these kinds of calls and don't do their job, instead they want you to 'submit a ticket' or they will call you on THEIR time like your JUST NOT IMPORTANT OOH but they are SOOOO quick to take that money for something that doesn't work. As of today I did not get a refund, and if I don't that will only give me permission to tell every social media site or any site that takes complaints about this incident.

I’ve tried a handful of lawn care solutions over the years, and Sunday is by far the best experience I’ve had. The entire process feels simple, thoughtful, and actually tailored to my yard instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.
The customized lawn plan made it easy to know exactly what to do and when, and the products themselves are incredibly easy to apply. I also appreciate that everything is designed with safety and sustainability in mind, it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m not overloading my yard with harsh chemicals.

I've been a customer for 3 years and Sunday has transformed my yard. This stuff isn't something I'm good at but Sunday makes me feel like a pro. No more buying the wrong stuff and doing more harm than good.

After their so-called “customized” lawn care program, I was given the wrong seeds, destroying years of hard work. Their weed control was awful, their customer service full of empty promises. Save your money and hire a local company.
Used as directed…didn’t work
I used this lawn care product for a year, and all I got was more weeds. While neighbors on either side of me did nothing, and their lawns looked better. I followed their recommendations to a T, and purchased everything suggested. This is expensive stuff for not working.
On a side note, they do have great marketing. Their ads and commercials make you believe that their products will make your lawn look green and lush. It’s a shame they don’t work.
Kid & Pet Safe - Highly Effective!
I started using this system for my lawn last 2 years ago and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have A LOT of grass and it was in need of help when I moved in. I have dogs and kids so I needed something that was safe and non pollutant. I can’t recommend this brand enough!
What a Scam, Save your time and Money.
Misleading marketing, poor product, terrible support using the product, and horrible customer service.
I regret trying this product. My lawn looked terrible. They over-promise, undeliver, and DO NOT care about you, only your money.
All marketing no quality
The first time I tried putting out there fertilizer there was a layer of crust at the bottom of the bag that jammed the dispenser and I spent two hours watering my lawn with just water. Second time new dispenser only worked sideways. And then of course shame on me plus one I put it into an ortho and dispensed it but if I had to tell you how much time I spent trying to dispense this product...
Sneaky & Expensive Charges
After purchasing a few items online to get started, within a 2 weeks I received an invoice by email that had a $119 charge without any line items explaining the charge indicating that some items (that I hadn't picked out) would be sent to me. I immediately called to get an explanation, and to cancel the order before it shipped. I was told that the $119 shipment might not be stopped because it was already in the system. The support person suggested they would try to work with the ordering dept to stop it and would get back to me. 40 hours later they called to say that they couldn't stop the $119 order and that they had cancelled my account.
Very disappointing business.
Watch out for sneaky charges from this company.
Big waste of money, even bigger waste of TIME
This stuff takes hours to apply to your lawn, and you have to do it every 3-4 weeks during the spring, summer, and fall, and after all that time spent the results are barely better than if you didn’t do anything at all. After 3 years of less than fair results I switched to Scott’s turf builder last fall, and after only 3 applications the lawn is thicker, greener, and has a fraction of the weeds. It also cost less than a third of Sunday’s snake oil crap, and takes less than 20 minutes to spread on the whole lawn.
Sunday has great packaging and marketing, but don’t get sucked in by their soil analysis and overstated claims of efficacy and results like I did. It’s a huge waste of money and an even bigger waste of your time. Oh, and good luck canceling the subscription because they will keep billing you and shipping their garbage to you long after you tell them to stop; and then you’re stuck with the product because they won’t refund your money. Their whole business model is basically a snake oil autoship scam.
I am so upset with this product
I am so upset with this product. I’ve tried for two seasons with four different nozzles for it to correctly, dispense the product. The company is based on providing fertilizer via garden houses, but the nozzles that are provided are so cheap they won’t work. I’ve paid extra to order additional spray nozzles, and they have all failed. I have canceled my subscription.

So bad I cancelled the service as I do not live at that house They forgot so I disputed the charge went into my account to download evidence at account is locked. Hope it is worth the $129 to Sunday to get these bad reviews
This company is a rip off
This company is a rip off. They sneakily sign you up for a subscription when you place an order using a promotion. Then you get a $300+ charge showing up on your card. And on top of that, they don't send a shipment notication or upcoming shipment notication so you can cancel the service you didn't even order. And their return policy says products (that don't even work) cannot be returned because they are customized for your lawn. That's BS because they are just standard formula bottles based on the type of grass you have, which is the same as half the country. THERE IS NOTHING customized about the product. It is a SCAM to refuse to refund for a product you didn't even order. Stay far away and go to your local greenery instead. You'll get massively better results. Shame on this company!
Hubby loves his birthday present!
I got a subscription as a birthday present for my hubby in august. By early September the lawn looks great!!! It’s dark green and gorgeous! He loves his present! The herbicide is slow and doesn’t get the stubborn weeds, but it does work!

JULY 19, 2024 UPDATE: I appreciate the reply below from Sunday. As that person mentioned, some initial clarity would've saved me some frustration, but hey, I'll take late over never any day.
MY ORIGINAL POST: I can't yet speak to the quality of their products, but I am NOT impressed with their customer service. Here's what happened.
On June 16, 2024 (Father's Day), I purchased a Sunday subscription at 4:03 PM. Right after I submitted the order, I noticed that I had failed to enter the 20% off Father's Day discount code. So, I emailed them at 4:20 PM (17 minutes after I purchased my subscription) to notify them of my mistake. In that email, I said:
"I just signed up for Sunday. After checkout, I realized that I failed to apply the FATHERSDAY discount code. Should I cancel this order and reorder from scratch, can you guys process a partial refund in the amount of the discount ($75.20), or should we go another route? I’m good however you guys want to do it."
The next day, they said, "I'm sorry to hear that you failed to include the discount code at checkout! Unfortunately, we're unable to retroactively alter discounts at this time, but I've issued a one-time $10 store credit to your account for the inconvenience."
I replied, "Thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate the $10 credit, but I missed a $70 discount because I didn’t enter the discount code. I emailed you guys as soon as I placed the order and noticed that I didn’t apply the discount code. It seems that there should be some way to work this out so that I receive the discount. If that’s not something you can do, is there someone else who can help me? Thank you!"
The next day, another employee replied, "We understand how important it is to receive the full discount. While we are unable to switch the coupon code used for your order, we can offer an additional $30 in store credit to make up for the missed discount. We hope this helps, and we appreciate your understanding."
I replied, "Thank you for getting back with me. If the feedback helps, I know that you guys can figure out how to give me the discounted rate. So it’s not an issue of capability, but of willingness. And you guys don’t seem willing to give me the 20% discount even though I (1) signed up in time to receive it and (2) notified you just minutes after purchase of my failure to enter the discount code during checkout. If the $30 store credit is all you guys will do, then so be it, but I own a business that’s much smaller than yours, and I don’t treat my clients this way because it: (1) Stinks, (2) Unnecessarily frustrates my clients, (3) Makes me look petty, (4) Ensures they’ll stop doing business with us as soon as possible, and (5) Costs more money than it saves. Thank you for hearing me out."
I sent that response on June 18, 2024, and I haven't heard anything from them since. So, instead of working with me to give me the Father's Day discount for the purchase I made on Father's Day, they offered to discount my future purchases by approximately half that amount. Yeah, no thanks. With customer service like this, there won't be any future purchases, even if their products give me the best lawn in the neighborhood.
According to getlatka.com, Sunday's team of 115 people raked in $27,500,000 in 2023, but with the kind of pettiness they've shown me, you would think giving me the Father's Day discount would have drained their bank account of its last $75.20. Ridiculous.

I am feeling scammed. All charges were made within a week… all delivery dates were missed. The shipment 2 (2/2) is missing since 06/19. Shipment 3 was sent on 06/23. Everything is reported as “damaged” in UPS. Seriously Sunday Team?
Less emails (daily salesy bs) and more accuracy to your valuable customers please.

Cancelled over a year ago. Get Sunday shipped and placed a $279 charge on my credit card last week. Called customer service and was told they could NOT refund the charge or take back the fertilizer. COMPLETE FRAUD.
