Giovanni bus travel didn’t “transfer” me anywhere — they abandoned me. They dumped me 2 km from my hotel, shrugged, and sped off like they couldn’t get away fast enough. Every other passenger got a proper drop‑off; I got a long walk with luggage and a company that couldn’t care less.

Their customer service was just as pathetic — excuses, denial, and zero responsibility.
This isn’t a transfer service. It’s a gamble you’re guaranteed to lose.

Booked shuttle through Hoppa, they use Giovanni as local agent for salou. Needed to change pick up time hoppa customer service was poor dealt directly with Giovanni customer services who were excellent.

Arrived at Reus airport and private transfer was waiting for us. Quick, speedy and clean transfer. On return, the transfer arrived 15 minutes early. Will use again!

My daughter her partner and their 6 month old baby were picked up this morning at Reus airport . They are staying at The Best Cap Salou Hotel .
They were dropped off at least 10 minutes from the Hotel.
It was 30 degrees and their was no shade for my 6 month old Granddaughter!! They had to open their case on the side of the road to get their sun shade out for their pram.
To top it all the driver had given them the wrong direction and the Hotel wasn't where he said .
Absolutely terrible service especially with a baby they should be ashamed of themselves.

Horrible staff attitude, could not drop us at our hotel in Tossa de mar only at the bus station in the middle of the night, however offered to drop us at our hotel for an extra £20 in cash, which turn out to be a 3 minutes drive. Reported them to Easyjet Holiday as this is not acceptable behaviour.

Highly recommend this bus company. They really took any thoughts of a travelling nightmare out of my head with a professional and prompt service taking our group of 8 from the airport to our hotel and back again. Thank you. 🙏

Avoid this company. We had a shuttle bus from Reus Airport to our appointments in Salon. Twice the lady driver nearly got us killed, she was a lunatic on the road. She didn't even drop us off at our appointments, we hadn't a clue where we were going. She hadn't a word of English and very ignorant. We definitely won't be using this company ever again.

Do not book with this company ever!!!! I pre paid for transfers and they did not pick us up from the hotel, I called them 4 times including the hotel staff with no answer. I kept texting them, a woman callede.at 2pm after an hour to ask if we made it to the airport which I hadn't, when I confronted her via the phone she hung up on me. So had to pay for a cab. They seem like a scam company!!!?

AVOID this company.
We were given conflicting messages for the pick up points which was a 15min walk from our hotel and despite waiting 55mins the airport transfer never stopped. No phone calls were answered and we were left stranded and had to pay €125 for a taxi to Barcelona airport. The company denied any responsibility which seems to be a running theme.

Had a shared Mercedes mpv from Barcelona airport to Barcelona and a private car on the return.
Both drivers were smart and very polite but Joel on the return journey was very chatty and nice to talk to. Communication from the company was excellent using email, phone also whattsapp. Kept us informed throughout the whole time. Would look to deal direct next time.

We travelled from Barcelona airport to Salou on 13/07/23 with this company via a Holidaytaxis booking.

Excellent service and friendly driver during our transfer.

Not only that, but I felt I should leave a review as my son left his bag with expensive items, cash and a bank card on the bus by accident. When I contacted the Giovanni bus company directly to try to retrieve the bag Kerry and Mariana’s customer service was exceptional in making this possible.

I have to say huge appreciation to the driver who safely returned the bag to their depot in Tarragona- from where we were able to get it back in perfect condition one day later with the help of Kerry and Mariana.

I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone in future.

Unreliable company that tries to blame the customer. Never turned up to pick us up to go back to airport for return flight. Asked us to get a taxi and we would be refunded. When contacted holiday company to be refunded for taxi fair Giovanni travel tried to say we were no shows. Turns out there wasn’t room for us in transfer which they are also denying. Awful awful company.

Unreliable. Our shuttle did not meet us when we arrived at Reus airport and they said we were not on the system. We had to get a taxi.
They then tried to blame me.
On the way back the same thing happened to another couple. They were confirmed to be picked up but were not and after waiting outside early in the morning they had to get a taxi. Luckily they did not miss their flight.
This company is not helpful and does not seem to care.
The shuttle was a car that was full. It may be that if they have too many they just leave people out and don't take responsibility.

This was my worse transfer experience ever. I booked a "shuttle" with Jayride.com, so we could get all the way to Camping Cala Llevado 100km north of Barcelona. It turns out that Giovanni Bus Travel operates the bus.
1. On the bus we were told that we could not be dropped off at Camping Cala Llevado. We had to drive 15 minutes longer to be dropped off in Tossa only to have to take a taxi back - even though I e-mailed the bus company the exact address and they confirmed it. This can be documented.
2. It is a regular sized bus, not the smaller shuttle they show you on the website.
3.The trip from Barcelona to Tossa de Mar took over 3 hours. You can take the moventis bus from Barcelona to Tossa de Mar. It and takes only 2 hours and 5 minutes. The Moventis bus ticket is only 30 Euro and the buses are new and much nicer.
4. The bus driver on the bus we were scheduled to take, told us that it would take at least 3 1/2 to 4 hours to drive to Camping Cala Llevado. So he made us go back and ask for our money back. Of course they would not return our money.
5. We had our suitcases and were out of the arrival building at 9.05 am. We arrived in Tossa de Mar at 13.30.
This was the worst transfer I have ever experienced!
I would never use Giovanni Bus Travel again - and I would never recommend anyone else to book with them either.
