This experience really pushed me out of my comfort zone to try something new! As a first time solo traveler GIVE made me feel comfortable and eased my nerves. They were great at keeping me up to date with travel changes/flights. GIVE communicated trip information and details clearly in easy to read emails and texts. I took my GIVE Trip to Hawai'i this past June and had an amazing time there! This trip balanced volunteer work well with fun off the beaten path adventures. Some of these included scenic viewing, swimming at beaches, cave exploration and hiking (Kilauea Iki Trail). I enjoyed the free time they gave us to explore different towns/shops on the Big Island of Hawai'i (Honoka'a, Hilo, Kona). Our trip guides were also incredible in making the trip fun and safe. They made sure to check in with us on our work projects and keep our health and wellbeing a priority. GIVE really opened up my eyes to how to be an active global citizen. I truly learned a lot about environmental sustainability/stewardship and ecotourism. I highly recommend GIVE if you're looking to contribute to environmental initiatives or explore a new culture/destination!

The best experience. you didn’t visit Hawai’i as a tourist but as a guest. We got to immerse ourselves in Hawaiian culture and learn from locals. I loved the volunteer work we did and the excursions. Truly the most life changing experience. Shout out to the guides Josh, CJ, and Sloane for making it so amazing.

I travel a lot, but this has definitely been one of the best trips I’ve been on. Starting with Liv our guide, she was a total sweetheart and made us all feel cared for and appreciated. The trips projects were also super meaningful and although it was hard work at times it was super fun and the stories and memories that you gain from it are always a treat. I got the pleasure to meet so many amazing and passionate people, It definitely makes you appreciate the land and view life in a whole new outlook.

My GIVE Hawai'i experience was something I will never forget. I was able to leave a positive environmental impact in local communities and make lifelong friends. Snorkeling, clearing out weeds in a lo'i, trying delicious new foods, and witnessing cuddling sea turtles on the beach were just a few of my favorite moments.

GIVE shared the gorgeous culture of Hawai’i like no other; it was amazing helping clean up the oceans, lands, and learn about the history of a beautiful island and the hardships it has been going through. I will never forget learning how to make a Lei, or setting up an Imu to cook our final big meal. What a lovely experience; I need to go back!

I went to Hawaii not sure what to expect, but the communication leading up to the trip was excellent and gave me and my family trust in the company. My flights got canceled last minute and I had to rebook them, and a GIVE customer service representative called me at the airport to make sure everything was sorted out. That kindness from the GIVE team carried on throughout the trip. The guides were so knowledgeable and very good educators. My entire perspective on life changed for the better after this trip because of my incredible experience. I would recommend everybody go on a GIVE trip to experience the good vibes for themselves.
