There was absolutely no pressure with regards to our furniture order and anything we asked was met with a personal and professional answer.
We had a couple of coffees from the cafe and they were perfect too !

This is an update for Vispring Devonshire mattress that was exchanged from medium to soft mattress in May/June 2025. I have had lower back problems since using the soft mattress. I was advised to change it to soft version by Vispring Manager. I would be happy to change to a cheaper different make or at least get half my purchase price back, and replace it somewhere else. Despite regularly seeing back pain specialist, it is not getting better.

Nigel Gladwin was very helpful and knowledgeable about the adjustable chairs.
He gave us his time and we did not feel rushed. We did order one.

Carl was very professional but friendly in his approach. No pressure, just informative and gave us space and time to consider our options. Superb service and experience. Would certainly recommend company.

I visited the store and immediately found Adrian, we discussed the item I have on order from the store which he arranged a short time ago and I mentioned I wished to purchase an additional item, in no time at all Adrian recalled the item and the colour/fabric chosen by ourselves and I was simply able to order the additional item.
Would yet again like to thank him for his time and effort for sorting things for me.
Adrian is very knowledgeable on the products in store and always very approachable.

We were looking for a chair for a bedroom, Glasswells has an excellent range of different chairs so we were able to find just the sort we were looking for. The shop is spacious and well laid out so a delight to walk around. Lawrence, the sales assistant, was very helpful.

We needed a new super king bed so was shopping around. We’ve bought furniture from Glasswells in Ipswich before and had a positive experience last time. The store has a beautiful showroom and a lovely cafe if you are feeling a bit peckish! We find the furniture at Glaswells is very good quality and the staff are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. First dealt with Carl Flurrie on the Saturday, then with Tom Repton on our return in the week. Both gentlemen were extremely helpful and totally not pushy. We did look at other shops and lots of beds, but decided to purchase our bed at Glasswells. We felt the bed was a fair price for a very good quality product. We bought a super king end ottoman base, a stylish headboard and a mattress. The bed will arrive in 3-4 weeks and the team will install the bed and take all the packaging away so that’s great for us. We also took advantage of the January sales. Thank you team Glasswells!

This is our second purchase of Bedroom furniture from Glasswells.
Tom the salesman was very helpful and not at all pushy, left us to brows and was there to answer any questions we had which we liked as there is nothing worse than feeling you are being followed around the store when trying to make up your mind.
Furniture we had in the past still looks as good as it did when we got it so that is why we went back to buy more for another room.

She took the time to understand what we were looking for, offered thoughtful advice without any pressure, and made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. Our whole experience was good old fashioned personal customer service. Adrian took his time explaining thoroughly to us all the options and then went through them all again the next day with my disabled Mum in a way she could understand. No hard sell, we were given all the options and allowed to choose what we wanted.. perfect service. Thank you so much
