Staff in store know their products and helpful whilst looking for a product.
After sales very poor. If you ever enquire or have a concern then the response won’t be the one you are expecting.
The deputy manager (woman) rude and condescending. She won’t allow you to speak or explain. To the extent of her being very negative about their own staff they use.
So good luck with anyone contacting Glasswells for after sales concerns.
Very disappointing and makes us very wary of using the store in future.

Jon helped us choose, and came to measure up
Terry and Jane masterminded the calendar and rearranged twice, 1 once was me, the other was them.
Carpets fitted by a lovely chap new to Glasswells but came recommended.
Calm, conscientious and very business like. Took no time at all to lay two landings, the stairs and a bedroom.
And hoovered up after himself
Such an easy experience they are coming back to do the dining room.

Went in to look for a new mattress without really knowing too much about it. Peter was extremely helpful, providing advice, opinions and guided us perfectly through the process, enabling us to buy the mattress most suitable for our needs. Perfect customer service.

The staff in the curtains department were excellent. They patiently helped me choose a suitable fabric; when that was out of stock, they searched high and low to source it for me; they kept me informed throughout.
Best of all the person who made my bespoke lampshades did a superb job and I am delighted with them. Certainly I could not find anything similar either in any store or online.

We were only browsing for a new mattress with no initial intention of buying today, however after asking for advice and assistance from Peter, we decided to purchase straight away. Peter was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and able to offer advice suited to our needs without being pushy; all very much appreciated. This is our third large purchase from Glasswells and we have been very pleased with both the selection of products and excellent customer service. Thank you

Staff are all knowledgeable of the products they are selling. This is our go to shop for all home furniture.

We have only recently moved to Suffolk and was advised to visit Glasswells in Bury St Edmunds.
What a delighful store with great choice of furniture and bedding. We have spent a lot of money with Glasswells and awaiting an item from. bedding dept where Peter was so helpful and understood exactly what we required.

We have been a customer of Glasswells for many years. The service and products they provide is second to none. This time we wanted a new dining room table, six chairs and a sideboard. We were shown all the various options by Adrian whose knowledge of the furniture is amazing. We tested his patience a bit as it took a long time to make a final choice. An order was placed and now we have the long wait (14 weeks) for delivery

Well that was easy buying a mattress. Glasswells provides class range and service

In the past two years we have purchased reclining chairs and a mattress from Glasswells and have had wonderful service. Unfortunately one of our chairs had a malfunction, Sam in customer service was outstanding in getting the problem solved. I wouldn't hesitate using them again.

We were looked after brilliantly by Peter Harrison in the bedroom furniture department. He was helpful informative and friendly. We are looking forward to getting our order in due course. As always Glasswells are brilliant and we have used them many times over the years.

Glasswells are doing everything right in my humble opinion.
The store is welcoming, the staff are incredibly helpful, the variety of products on sale is extraordinary.
We needed curtains and blinds and Emma (and the rest of the team) who helped us throughout, was knowledgeable, experienced and supported us at each decision.
Emma visited at home and measured and advised further.
An order has been made and we await delivery and fitting.
We couldn't be happier.

Emailed to say I had a problem with my sofa. A member of staff called back within the hour, appointment made for the next week for someone to visit and check. He visited at appointed time and was able to fix the problem. Customer Service called the following day to check all ok. Excellent service.

Having been let down by Laybrooks mum and dad ( both elderly) decided to go to Glasswells to look for an electric bed to help them.
Peter was so kind and helpful when mum and dad were unsure what to buy and spent alot of time speaking with them and going through all the beds available.
He was professional and knowledgeable and spent the time with them both to ensure they were both happy with their purchase
I would not hesitate to recommend Glasswells and Peter.

Having visited an alternative 'high ranking' department store in Ipswich, where the curtain department staff were awful, rude and unhelpful, I went to Glasswells. WOW. The staff were professional, helpful, very knowledgeable and pleasure to deal with. I was assisted by Charlotte Hearn who was exceptional in every way. Well done 👏 💯%. I will definitely visit again.
