The van we rented was okay, however there were a few surprises as it needs more detail in the description. The bed is VERY small. The process of finding a van was frustrating as there were four that we chose first that ended up being rented already but showed as available (they were rented on other sites and the technology doesn’t keep their availability in real time).

Our family loved using Go Camp! It was a great way for us to go see a new part of the country. The whole process was really easy and so much fun!!

Steve was an awesome host, when we arrived he provided us with hot dogs and Gatorade! The Winnebago was the perfect adventure van, and we had such a wonderful time. Thank you Steve, we will be back again!

The website is not very user friendly. I appreciated the personable approach to customer service, however I was unable to reach the desired outcome for my trip because of the time delay between having to communicate with the van owner and the customer service representative on an issue that could have easily been handled by myself with a better webpage. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional and I have no complaints about my experience other than my inability to navigate the website easily for something a simple as adjusting my trip dates. I love having GoCamp as an accessible option for travel and appreciate its presence!

Unfortunately there were issues with the camper van I rented resulting in me being unable to use the refrigerator or ventilation fan and I had to buy an ice chest. Accountability to quality check beyond current expectations could be considered to prevent this happening to others.

Booking through GoCamp was the best experience. The hosts of our camper van were incredible and it couldn’t have gone more smooth. This was by far our favorite trip. We will book through GoCamp time and time again.

GoCamp is a great way to find and schedule the perfect van trip. They made the process easy and kept us informed and up to date through the whole process.

Great communication and coordination between Outdoorsy, Go Camp, and the owner of Miles (the camper van we rented). Lead to a great experience before, during, and after!

GoCamp has a great group of people working to make our rental go smoothly. Unfortunately their technology made this rental very difficult, time consuming and frustrating.

Driver Verification - they have a link to get your driver's license verified. This works by uploading your driver's license image and then doing a VR scan of your face. The website would not allow file uploads regardless of the browser used. They then sent us to another website service they use. We had two drivers and both had a successful verification per the 3rd party. BUT, GoCamp only received one successful notice. On our rental page the person who GoCamp said was verified was shown "not verified" and the person who we were told was not veritified showed "Verified" on our rental page. It took multiple emails and new link and many days to get this corrected - it never showed up correctly on our rental page.

We also received confirmation of renting this vehicle from another company with a completely different charge rate and charge schedule for our credit card. GoCamp didn't know what this was and we think it was the owner of the van's company that was doing it, but regardless I caused several back and forth message with customer service to make sure our van was in fact rented only once and we weren't charged an extra $1,500. This alternate rental page also said we had "waived" insurance. We had not. So it left a big deal of uncertainty about whether we were or were not insured. We were assured we were and thankfully we didn't have to test that out during our trip.

It has been over a week and a half since our rental ended but have yet to receive an email that our $1,000 deposit has been (or will be) refunded. We will check - but as there was no damage and we returned it very clean (per the owner) I would have expected a "you're deposit will be returned" email already.

From the website, to the options, to the actual van that we rented, and all of the support/follow-up, it was a great experience.

Our trip was amazing. GoCamp and the Van owner were a dream to work with. Everything worked seamlessly. I would do it again.

GoCamp helped facilitate my rental for a van that was just getting into GoCamp…so, they worked closely with the owners to make it happen, and sign me up for the weekend behind the scenes, much appreciated. Communication was excellent and timely.

We absolutely loved our rental and the people who owned the van. However, the GoCamp company has strung us along now for over 3 weeks about our deposit. Nobody contacted us about our options to cover a cracked windshield like they said they would and it seems like they are thinking they can charge us the whole $2,500 deductible for their “insurance” that we paid extra for without ever talking to us.

Very easy process. When I had questions or concerns they got right back to me with friendly, informative service. Will definitely work with go camp again if I have the need!

We had such a blast hitting the open road with Lucky! Rob, Chester, and Sam were super accommodating and overall fantastic to work with. We really appreciated the thorough walkthrough of the van, guidance on charging, and treats in the fridge. Lucky sleeps up to 4 and was more than enough room for the two of us with plenty of room for storage. It was super hot the weekend we rented, and the oversized awning was a lifesaver. We would definitely book Lucky for our next adventure.

Guinevere was a great choice! Everything we needed and some. Absolutely perfect! Owners very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely rent again!

Our trip was wonderful! We were able to explore a lot of Washington and our host was friendly and supportive. The van was well built and exceeded our expectations and needs. We found helpful information in the manual. One thing I would name for other renters would be to double check your mileage in order to avoid other costs, but we were aware we might surpass this.

I booked a van for my week long trip in Colorado. When I arrived to the location given the vendor told me “sorry the vans broken” and essentially told me to leave. This vendor was a company with tons of vans in the parking lot. Apparently the van had been broken for at least 24 hours before my arrival. It is amazing to me no one at gocamp did anything to try and fix this before I arrived. Instead I had to purchase a hotel because I had no where else to go that day and delayed my trip a whole day. GoCamp eventually found me a new van in the area but the van was a massive downgrade (no bathroom or shower) which meant I had to spend a ton of money on campgrounds to shower and use the bathroom. I CANNOT believe GoCamp has not reached out to reimburse me a portion of what I paid. I will warn everyone I know in the outdoor community not to use GoCamp.

The camper van was perfect for our trip and had everything we needed.

I loved the chance to checkout different vans! The guide that you get access to is also great. It went all smoothly. I would love to get a chance to find the van faster though, like a “favorite” button or something.
