Just to clarify, many fisheries on Catch do offer concessionary tickets, including options for pensioners and other groups, but all ticket types and prices are set directly by the individual venue rather than by Catch.
The additional booking fee is for using the Catch booking service, although anglers who book regularly can remove booking fees with a Catch subscription.

Best customer service I have received for years
Emailed on a Sunday night to explain I needed to cancel a trip upcoming in a few weeks time due to a heart operation and sandy emailed me back within minutes and wished me all the best and sorted my refund instantly , I wouldn’t hesitate to use catch over and over again, customer service is impeccable

The booking fee helps cover the cost of running the platform, payment processing and the support team that helps anglers when bookings need changing or sorting out. We also offer Catch Lite for anglers who book regularly, which removes booking fees altogether.

If the issue relates to the lake or your experience at the fishery, that wouldn’t be a fair reflection of the Catch booking service itself, as the venues are independently operated.
Please email support@gocatch.fish with your booking details and the reason you’re requesting a refund. Our team will look into it with the fishery and, if a refund is approved under the venue’s terms, they’ll get it sorted for you.

Im staying on holiday caravan site…
Im staying on holiday caravan site with grand kids and booked a 24hr session at Chichester lakes through the go catch site as instructed on caravan site . Was approached by a old chap litter picking with a lad with him and told I shouldn't be fishing here with that gear If he was a bailiff he had no lanyard or asked for no proof of booking swim at £27 or rod licence both of wich I had he was rude and condescending infront of my grandsons great first time experience for future anglers feel it's a case of anglers snobbery was told there was 30lb carp in there and I should read the rules. Ive read the rules and clearly says what gear was need "IF" FISHING FOR CARP would need carp large landing net and ground pad however I was using three pocket rods with 4lb line size 3 hooks and float and sweetcorn 8foot from bank dont think it was going to happen 🙄 also noticed there were signs around the banks if the smaller tench caught net them as there being sold Just to let any other angler snobs out there know we caught or harmed no fish in this upsetting experience .I respectfully ask go catch inform the fishery to update there info as the lake we was on clearly states 2-4lb fish at moderate stock levels also if its there wish the fishery state on there site no inexperienced fisherman welcome only the elitist allowed . Unfortunately I've had to put this rewiew on go catch page it's the fishery I've had the problem with .The app worked and took fees fine

It was just complicated and difficult to use the booking system. It was also very annoying when on the chosen lake that there were several other lakes at the top of the page. I definitely won’t be using Catch again I’ll try and book direct and explain my reasoning.
