Misleading, Complicated, and Very Disappointing Experience
I have been a repeat Gomexus customer and always valued their products, but my recent experience with the Gomexus Europe (.de) shop has been extremely disappointing.
From the start, it was unnecessarily complicated just to place one order:
• My shipping address in Cyprus could not be entered properly.
• Shipping restrictions blocked me from completing the order until support intervened.
• I reached out to multiple Gomexus Instagram and Facebook accounts, but none of them replied — the only helpful team was Gomexus Europe.
After all of this, I finally placed my order. Then the problems continued:
• I was sent the wrong tracking number in my confirmation email.
• I had to chase support again on Instagram to get the correct tracking information.
• To my surprise, I discovered that my items are actually being shipped from China, not Europe. This was never communicated when buying from a European shop. I had expected delivery within 2–3 days, but now shipping may take up to 1 to 2 weeks.
This is completely misleading — if I wanted shipping from China, I could have ordered directly from Gomexus.com (or purchased from a reseller) as I had done before, without all this trouble. The entire point of ordering from the European shop was to get fast, local delivery, and that expectation was not met.
To be fair, Gomexus did issue me a 25% discount coupon for a future purchase because of earlier misunderstandings. However, given this experience, I highly doubt I will be using it.
Overall, this has been a terrible customer experience — confusing, frustrating, and not transparent at all. The products themselves may be good, but the service and communication around this order have been very poor.
