I have been using Gorilla Accounting for a few months now, and I have found them to be professional and helpful. Kulsum, my accountant, responds quickly to questions and gives clear answers. I am definitely happy I have chosen to use Gorilla Accounting.

I use Gorilla for two years for both business and personal accounting. The team is normally responsive when I raised queries but the advice was not always useful and/or applicable. I had to come back with queries on info got through another businesses and confirm with them after instead of being advised since beginning. It felt that I, come to them with solution to make the tax more efficient. Another accountant identified some missed opportunities to do business in a more tax-efficient way. I am also disappointed that my personal tax support didn’t offer efficient and forward-looking advice with some possible scenarios I needed to understand how to plan and execute the best way, to achieve the company goals.
Later review: They come back and offered some advice, reactive but still useful. They got my suggestions in a constructive manner and show will to improve. I'll give more time to give the chance to do it.

We swapped to Gorilla Accounting based on recommendation and haven't looked back. Clare and the rest of the team are very knowledgeable, friendly and always happy to go through any questions you might have. Great service and value overall.

I stepped into contracting outside IR35 2 years ago and they have helped me tremendously and made it so easy. I was initially worried hearing other peoples woes with accounting but Gorilla Accounting have taken the stress out of it for me. Both Nathan and Hannah have been polite and professional

Hannah has been brilliant throughout — quick to respond, efficient, and always helpful. She regularly goes over and above, and I never feel like i’m being left waiting around for an answer.

I was sold a package as being perfect for those who have never ran a limited company before and would be supported throughout. All sounded great on the surface and the initial setup of the company was smooth but quickly ran into issues after that point. They struggled to advise me on the best route for tax efficiency or the best way to pay ourselves, most of the information given was things I could already find online. Advice around expenses was very generic. Certainly didn't fee like a tailored service for my situation which is what I was led to believe.
The regular check-ins that were part of my package never happened. Constant mix-up between what I was being told at one point to the next.
I do not know for sure but it certainly felt like I was just given a very junior person and was paying a monthly fee for next to nothing.
I returned to my original accountant from when I was self employed and learned more from a one hour meeting with them than my entire time with Gorilla.

As a new customer I am very satisfied with the help I am getting. Matthew is always answering my emails very quickly.
