I booked a lesson for October and they told me the instructor left so they’d find me a new instructor. It’s a shame because I was so excited for my first lesson after already paying £110 (60 for the lesson and 50 for the pass guarantee). 5 months later (march) after asking for a new instructor I never got one. So I asked for a refund for the pass guarantee. I was told it would be with me in 7-10 working days, it’s now the 8th of April so it’s been 22 days (17 working days). They’re so quick to take your money but take months giving it back if you even get it ! I don’t recommend booking here at all!

Fraud website, reviews are selected rather than listed honestly, no amendments, refunds or complaints system in place either. Awful experience all round

AVOID THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY.

A poor app and impossible to request refunds if you make a mistake. Your instructor has to process everything and if they can’t help (the app is terrible for them to get payment too) then you lose the money.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

One star too generous. So much time wasted trying to add block payments. Clunky. Riddled with bugs. Always crashing. Just don't bother. Better apps out there.

My partner had this instructor for more than year. He only wants you to book lessons after lessons and make you spend your money. When you book driving tests he agrees with the dates of it and then at last minute he finds every “escuse” not to take you to the test. It happened to my partner 3 TIMES. The last time, he find the escuse not to take him to the test 7 days prior to the date, which made impossible to get a refund for that booking or even a new instructor on time to take him.
He caused my partner financial losses because of the escuses and a lot of stress.
On the lessons he is not attentive to the student and stayed talking on the phone multiple times.
He is gonna be reported to the DVSA.
Absolutely DON’T recommend him!

Had a wonderful instructor named Patrick Pender from GoRoadie very patient and gave clear and concise instructions I passed first time he was never late and most times we ran over the 2 hour lesson but never a problem I would whole heartedly recommend him fantastic job Patrick thank you very much his number is 07814 908758

Nearly three weeks now and they still have my money

Goroadie are no help. There contact email says they’ll reply in 24 hours but I haven’t heard anything back. Terrible service to get hold of. Would not recommend

I passed with noreen today on my first test,
She is very good at her job,previously with other instructor I was messed about ,
Noreen quickly fixed my faults and got me ready for my driving test. You will be surprised the way Noreen teaches, her methods are very easy.
Overall Noreen you are an excellent instructor. Thank you soo much!!

Booked an instructor online, they got in touch within hours. I've had 5 lessons since then. Super easy to use! Thank you GoRoadie!!

An an instructor, I absolutely love this app. User-friendly and does exactly what I need. Couldn't run my business without it any more.

ORIGINAL - I posted honest reviews that may be viewed as negative for the instructor, but were not published, so it was impossible to know who to trust. There was no accountability for drivers who took our money and didn't arrive or who repeatedly canceled on us. The company itself didn't respond to emails addressing these issues.
UPDATE - The MD for GoRoadie, took it upon himself to get the reviews published and implement processes to prevent this from happening to others. Thank you!

I’m a driving instructor currently working out of Chester. I was recently shocked to find that my reviews made by my own pupils had been stolen and used for an instructor on this site. I work hard for my pupils and as a result of that I receive amazing feedback. It upsets me that my hard work has been used for someone else’s gain.

Tried to contact two different instructors and no respond at all

Finding an instructor was so easy its great having that extra piece of mind that they have a good track record

So easy to use. The instructors page gives you so much information that you feel confident in your choice. Doesn't feel like you're getting in a car with a total stranger! :-)

This is a great idea for instructors and learners alike. It’s a brilliant website, easy to use and navigate, and helps get your driving school out to more people. I have used this website since it first started, I wouldn’t have left my franchise and gone independent without it.

I would recommend goRoadie to any driving instructor looking to get new business, since starting my own driving school Michael at goRoadie has been very helpful and kept me busy in my local area! .Thanks again Michael.

I have been using GoRoadie as an instructor for over a year and I cannot fault it at all. Unlike other companies there are no sign up or weekly/monthly fees you just pay a small one time fee for each pupil you choose to accept (however the first 3 are free!). What I like the most is that I’m completely in charge of my own diary, I’m currently with a driving school where you can book someone in for a lesson and by the time you get online to remove the slot someone else has already booked it. The pupils are asked to let us know their full availability and previous driving experience so we can make an informed decision of whether or not we can meet the pupils’ needs before getting in touch with them.

With other companies I have felt that instructors are not listened to, the guys at GoRoadie are always looking for feedback and ways to improve their website. Something which I’ve found really helpful is having the ability to set my diary to “unavailable” when I already have enough pupils as I do not want to keep turning people away. You can also set certain days/times as unavailable, which I found really useful as I was getting a lot of requests for evenings and weekends which I couldn’t do. Basically it’s the same as the larger franchises without the massive franchise fees.

It’s great for pupils as they can find every instructor on one page which covers their area instead of having to look through several individual websites/facebook pages and having to query prices and ask if they have availability as it’s all there for them to see instantly.

I’d recommend GoRoadie for every instructor, even if it’s just for the odd pupil now and again. For instructors who are just starting out it’s a fantastic way to start building your diary, also for people who are considering leaving a franchise and going independent. It gives you that extra peace of mind, there really is no catch!
