I made a purchase online on the 17/2/2015. I received no confirmation email and the online screen confirming the purchase didn't even give /the size of the product I'd ordered. I wanted to double check that the order was correct so I called, it went to voice mail. I emailed, no reply to date 19/2/. I have called numerous times, it is always on answer phone. They don't reply to emails, contact via their contact form (despite saying that they will reply within one working day) and their online assistant is always off line. I informed them the next morning of my wishes to cancel the purchase as I had lost confidence in them via email and phone message. No reply. They have, however, managed to take my money so someone is there.

The choice is yours whether to deal with this company. Sometimes a bargain is too good to be true and really not worth the extra hassle it brings with it and that is most certainly the case with this company.

I cancelled an order (the same day I ordered) when I found out, that shipping to denmark was more expensive than the item.
That was 6. of december. Today is the 29. of january. My refund came today after many emails to gourmetkitchenware.co.uk - that is NOT ok.

I ordered on 29/09/14 and git a dispatch notice on 10/10/14, however it's now 29/10/14 and I have received nothing! I have e-mailed, contact through the website and tried calling. The telephone mailbox is now full and not accepting new messages... so please DO NOT order from them!! I have report it a fraud through my bank and they are dealing with it.

....UPDATE... I got a call today and the have apologised and will be sending replacement. 29/10/14

I ordered a Minosharp MS471 Whetstone Combination Kit on 5th October (in good time for my son's birthday on 16th) - which Gourmetkitchenware acknowledged.

On 9th October I received and email "New status: Processing"

Er, 5th to the 9th just to be 'processing'?

On 11th October I got an email saying; "Dispatched" but nothing was ever received.

On 15th, the day before my son's birthday I was panicking, so I just had to email them on their website link.

The next day after midday I received "there was a problem with our mail collection on Friday (11th). Hopefully the item has been delivered today"

Fortunately for them and my son, it was. But 11 days after ordering!

Such a performance is not adequate.
