Excellent service and experience. Booked a car online for 2 weeks in Kefalonia and didn't want to use the usual international companies. Found Greekstones and seemed too good to be true - booking was easy, no deposit, no excess and meet at the airport. We were met off our flight, a short walk to the office to pick up the car. No additional hidden payments and no excess. The car was great and easy drop off. Both the staff and service were were excellent. Highly recommended!

Perfect experience in Skala! Great value for moneyRented a Hyundai i20 from Greekstone in late May. Picked up and dropped off the car directly at their office in Skala—the process was fast and very convenient. Paid €150 for a 4-day rental, which is an excellent price. The car was clean, reliable, and very fuel-efficient. I drove 540 km all over the island, up and down the mountain roads. Used only 40 liters of petrol (€85), averaging around 7.4L/100km. The Hyundai i20 handled the terrain perfectly. Friendly staff and transparent terms. Highly recommend this local rental!

I only booked the car when I arrived in Katelios the car was delivered on time as was promised. Paper work done within 5 minutes. And to top it all I was given a map of the Island with an explanation of what to see where and when on a three day journey

On arrival to my shock we had not confirmed our car hire booking. The lady on reception went above and behind to find us car hire as we were stranded 55 minutes away from our destination in Sammi. It was hot we were tired and they had no cars available . The lady rang her boss and they arranged a vehicle from another of there locations to be driven to us at the airport . A great sigh of relief and smiles. I cannot thank them enough . We have used this company many times and I honestly cannot fault them. The car they gave us was not the one we requested but they swopped it to the one we wanted once it came available. A massive to the thank you for the lady on reception I didn't nite her name but she is a credit to the company. All the staff there are .

I have used Greekstones twice and both experiences were very positive.
I required assistance on my second visit and the office in Svoronata went above and beyond, the manager there was exceptionally helpful.
In addition, picking up and dropping off the car at the airport was seamless on both occasions.
I would highly recommend this company.

We booked car hire for 5 days. We booked this about 2 months before we needed it via their website. They arrived at our hotel at the time requested with a lovely clean & modern car, they provided a map & gave us very useful information regarding driving on the island. The cost of hire over the 5 day period was over a 100 Euro's cheaper than our hotel Rep option. The process was made simple with cash payment option & no need for credit card deposits which is a bonus. The car was collected hassle free & we had a great time exploring the island. I would recommend them & would absolutely use them again if I go back to Kefalonia.

We hired a car for a couple of days and even though this was probably a small deal for the company we were treated like royalty. It’s family run and, judging by the attitude of the employees, it’s a great place to work. Thank you to Antonis and his team for your help and guidance. See you again soon I hope.

This is the second year of using Greekstones for our car hire and we will use them again next year! Their staff are friendly and attentive and explain everything that you need to know. They met us in person at the arrivals hall and took us to the office. They have a zero excess insurance and the only exclusions are undercarriage and interior. 'CBR' next door charge wheel and tyre cover as an extra. The car we booked was a Hyundai i20 or equivalent and we were given a Citroen C3 with 16K kilometres on the clock and was spotlessly clean with hardly a scratch on it. Picking up the car is a matter of 10 minutes and returning it is the same. Return inspection checked fuel level and no major new damages. Easy and only a few minutes walk from the airport terminal. Many roads in Kefalonia are very narrow and have few passing spaces - a small / compact car is recommended.

Gem of a company who reward loyal customers. We have always used Greekstones on our visits to Kefalonia, and other family members too. Met at the airport and walked over to the office to collect our cars which have always been spotlessly clean. Cannot fault at all, would highly recommend.

This is the se ond year hiring a car eith Greekstones and cant recommend them enough. Friendly helpfull staff and good cars. This year especially. I accidently left my phone in hire car and they found it and also delivered to our hotel. Great service and panick over

all good from start to finish . staff was great and spent a while telling us the best routes to take on the map .. price was good and car was very clean and safe . will use again just book in advance for the summertime as they get very busy

Amazing service and great vehicles. Guy even rushed to the airport to bring me my jacket that I’d forgotten in the car !

This was our first time using Greekstones car hire and all I can say is we were very pleased by all aspects of their service.
We were met at Kefalonia airport by a representative and we walked over to their airport office (5 minute walk).
We had an almost new car that was spotlessly clean.
Paperwork took no time at all and best of all there were no add on costs.
We had the same good service on the return of the car.
We will certainly be using Greekstones again.

Fantastic Service and vehicles from Greekstones Svoronata (Kefalonia)

Hires are for 3 days or more. We had a fiat Panda for 3 days for €100.

The car was excellent and like new, it handled well on the hilly hairpin bends (drive slowly). The team at the Svoronata office are friendly and helpful, giving suggestions on what to see etc.

As it turns out, I am distantly related to the owner who is from Cyprus. - small world!!

I wouldn’t hesitate to hire from Greekstones again.

I have never had a problem with this company. Does what it says on the tin.

We have used Greekstones a couple of times now, and the price and service has been great.
We used Pefanis for a long time, but their prices have gone up a lot in recent years.
No problem with Greekstones so far.

We'd booked a hire car online from Greekstones after seeing recommendations from people on Kefalonia Facebook groups. We didn't pay anything online. Had an email confirmation from them that someone will be waiting for us with our name on a board at the airport. True to their word, Maria from Greekstones was waiting by front doors with a sign - (we had a roughly 1 hour delay and it was 11.30pm at night, but this was no issue). We walked 2 mins over the road to their office to sign paperwork and pick up car. They gave us 5 bottles of chilled water, one for each passenger. We paid €119 in cash for 3 days hire - the car was a Hyundai i30. Only needed to show driver's licence and passport. No debit or credit cards required. No extra to pay for excess insurance. No deposit hold of £1400 on credit card, as per our previous car hire experiences in other European cities. No extra cost to add additional driver. We were on our way in 10 mins. 3 days later, we drove to the airport, dropped off the car at Greekstones. Again, great service from these guys - we returned the car with the same fuel we were given with and they just happily asked us to leave the keys in the car and take our stuff - no detailed inspection of the vehicle, they were happy to receive it back as it was.

I hired a car in september 2023. Everything was great and client friendly, from the pick up from the airport to the moment of bringing back the car. The car was decent . The price reasonable. There was nothing to complain about.
Next time that I come to Kefalonia I will hire from Greekstones again!
