I attended Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hubs Peer to Peer group , we had a session presented by Liz Whitfield which was an interesting and engaging first session.

Our organisation partnered with Growth Plans' Founder, Liz Whitfield, to launch a Peer Network group for scaleup businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire.

We are delighted with the collaboration and our first session was both insightful and engaging. Focused around the challenges of leadership and overcoming obstacles to growth, Liz led a session which put everyone at ease, facilitating lively discussion and allowing participants to have their views heard, and provided actionable tips to help understand differences of perceptions and how to build trust within the organisation.

Liz's coaching style is warm, considered, and professional and the feedback we have received from the session has been excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend Liz and Growth Plans to businesses looking for leadership development.

I have worked with Growth Plans for about six years and have found it invaluable. The opportunity to discuss business matters with peers in different industries in a confidential and respectful manner allows me to work through challenges and consider how best to take advantage of opportunities. It is incredible how similar the experiences of other business owners are to mine and so working with other people to address their challenges is easily as rewarding as obtaining their support for yours.

In addition, we have workshops on different issues, generally touching on leadership, every month which provides further insight and ideas to try.

I have been working with Liz and Growth plans for well over a year now and have found it hugely beneficial as a Director of a family business that can sometimes have a closed outlook. It's great to be able to run issues past other business leaders and get their opinions whilst also helping them with there own issues.
The insight Liz gives into your management style and that of others is very detailed an extremely beneficial when looking at how to best manage your own business.
Finally, the workshops and professional talks that are undertaken throughout the year are enjoyable and insightful.
Thoroughly recommend you getting on board if you are considering it.

I have attended Leadership Boards consistently with Liz and Growth Plans since the days of online meetings (remember covid?) and carried on as we phased back into face to face meetings as the World recovered. The online sessions were great but even better face to face, the group work has helped no end with my transition from Sales Director to MD. bringing organisation, backing good ideas and their implementation. The board has helped me enormously with problem solving and providing the focus to make sure I am working on the bigger picture and reaping the benefits for the business and my own growth as a leader.

As a result of the success we were seeing I engaged with Liz further with our Senior Leadership Team, looking at personality profiling and problem solving. This was extremely well received and a very beneficial exercise for the team and me! We are much better placed as a business and setup to deliver our Growth Plans for the future.

Being part of the journey with Liz has thrown up some great discussions with fellow board members, with results from these discussions and ideas benefiting our business on a day to day level. I would thoroughly recommend any high level management joining these groups that Liz presents, to expand personal and professional development.

I attend one of her Leadership Boards on a monthly basis. These boards consist of either informal / formal workshops and meeting with directors from other companies and sectors - sharing and discussing the challenges we face in our respective businesses. The sharing of challenges and the subsequent accountability to my fellow board members to take action has brought significant value to me personally and the business.
There have been occasions where the "day job" has tempted me to miss these board meetings, but I have resisted and always come away thinking "I'm glad I went"!!

As a business, we have also engaged Liz with Personality Profiling for all our staff members via the Insights Discovery programme. I know our staff have found this very useful and it has helped our team engage better.

I have been working with Liz through the Leadership Boards and planned 1 2 1 training sessions for over a year now, and I can confidently say that I learn and take considerations away from each session.
