Took 3 days just to get a quote. Understand they likely waiting on third parties but no follow up. Then absolutely ridiculous premium. Don’t they negotiate on our behalf? “Sorry we couldn’t help you this time’ was the lacklustre response. Really felt like they couldn’t be bothered.

First use of this company, found them to be thorough and had access to best landlord insurance deals which beat some of the main stream players.

Have been with GSI home and contents insurance for the past 6 years, in the beginning they were a good broker, competitive deals, for the past few years my premiums have gone up massively over 3 times what I was previously paying, poor communication, far easier to leave me with a poor deal then find me a better one.
Having changed brokers I have managed to save myself over £700 and have better cover.

Contacted GSI for unoccupied home insurance for my mother's apartment. James who dealt with my query went the extra mile to assist me. He gave me a very competitive quote and explained the cover, pros and cons. He returned my calls and, indeed, called me when he said he would. I was very impressed indeed with the service from GSI and would have no hesitation in recommending them, particularly James. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Jack was very efficient, courteous and lovely to speak with. He went the extra mile to find me a lower premium. I would definately consider GSI insurance when I need to renew my non standard house insurance.

Speaking to Oliver Humphriss made this so much easier to get Travel Insurance. He asked the questions needed, filled out the appropriate information, whilst I was on the phone. He is friendly, professional with appropriate humour (which when dealing with me is needed) and efficient. Got the whole process quoted and purchased within half an hour.
I would recommend Oliver and GSI for any insurance help.

They would not honour the price I was quoted online. When I queried this - they said it was because I'd clicked the house was occupied day and night, so if I went to the shops I wouldn't be covered. If they don't honour the quote - how can I trust them to pay out in the event of a claim.

A fantastic insurance company. Staff are polite and work hard to get you the best quote. Even my renewals are cheaper than other insurance providers. The small companies work a lot better than the big firms and actually care about you as a customer.

After price comparing I chose this company who said that as I ticked the box for the house being occupied both day and night then if I was burglied whilst out shopping then I wouldn’t be covered! So I take from that unless I remain under house arrest 24/7 365 days a year I wouldn’t be covered in the event of burglary. Sounds reasonable!!!
