I purchased a $9 course expecting a one-time payment.

Three days later, I was charged $69 for a subscription.

In my account, it showed no active subscription, and there was no option to cancel or manage it.

Customer support did not process a refund. Instead, they repeatedly offered access, extensions, and “bonuses” instead of returning the money.

The subscription was only canceled after I insisted, but the $69 charge was not refunded.

Be aware: this service uses unclear subscription terms and charges that are not properly reflected in the user account.

BEWARE! Deceptive subscription trap. After a $1 trial, they charged my card $89 without clear consent. Support refuses to refund unless you complete 14 days of lessons, which is an unfair and illegal practice. I’ve initiated a chargeback with my bank and reported them to the authorities for fraud."

There are manj similar pages gurugo.
They offer you one cheap item. Once you buy it, they Ask you to continue to register. But every click to continue add some expensive item (which iz Hidden).

When you complain they perform you some sweetalk, offering life time supcription, but dont.want to return money. (They only offer to return the 1 USD item, not the other)

I had a very negative experience with GuruGo.

The service is built around misleading offers that appear to be a one-time purchase but actually turn into an auto-renewing subscription. The pricing and billing terms are not presented clearly enough at the moment of purchase.

I did not use the course at all, yet when I requested a refund, I was refused. Instead, I kept receiving alternative offers like “lifetime access” and certificates instead of a proper resolution.

Customer support is especially frustrating. It feels like you are communicating with automated or scripted responses rather than a real person. There is no meaningful help or willingness to actually resolve the issue, so contacting support seems pointless.

Overall, this experience feels deceptive and unfair.

I strongly recommend others to be very careful before making any purchase and to double-check all subscription terms.

Was completely unimpressed with the trial, cancelled my account completely. They are still trying to charge me $89 a month for services I don't use and I can’t log in because my account doesn’t exist anymore so I can’t officially cancel it. I had to block the transaction from my bank manually.

scammers. they are not refunding they are charging for the things which I did not opt for. I was charged 35$ for no reason and i am scared that i might loose another 89$. as mentioned in some other reviews.

This is a scam.
As other people have mentioned, these people entice you with a $1 offer, then once they have your credit card details they charge $34 a day later and $89 another day later - classic fraud, waiting to see if you notice!

Buried in the sales page it says that these additional charges will not be refunded.
You can ask for your $1 back within a couple of weeks, but by that point they've stolen more than $120 from you.
Their support just keeps saying 'non-refundable!' with the same cut-and-paste response every time you write to them.

This is despite their FAQ's saying
"If I don't like the course, can I get my money back?
Yes, you can. You do not run any risks. If the course doesn't meet your expectations within the first 14 days of purchase, we'll give you a full refund on your card, no questions asked. Just email our support."

Pretty sure this is against most countries Internet selling laws, but htis doesn't seem to bother these scammers, nor Facebook, to who they have been reported but continue to allow these thieves to trade!

Be aware that Gurugo has been trying to charge my card without my authorization for several weeks. This unethical business practice should serve as a serious warning to potential customers about this company's dishonesty.

I’m another frustrated person. Cancelation policy is almost impossible. You need to log in for 14 days. But it’s impossible to log in at the second day. Can you imagine doing it for 14 days?

it was 1$ so i thought ill open the website and check , after that next thing i know i got charged $39 and then 3 days later i got charged $89.i don’t ever recalling trying to subscribe to all these , . i never did . there was no subscription.
contacted the customer team , they won’t refund the money . no matter what they wouldn’t refund it .
no where in plain sight it talks about subscription when you open it .
they just scan and rob you.
they have robbed me .
please stay away and don’t get lured into . they are doing business by robbing people .

Paguei $1 por um trial do app Face Yoga (GuruGo). Após o trial, fui cobrado automaticamente $72,83, sem aviso claro. Solicitei cancelamento imediato e não utilizei o serviço, mas a empresa se recusou a devolver o dinheiro. Cobrança aparece no extrato como Saveabank / GuruGo.
Recomendo atenção antes de assinar, pois o cancelamento e reembolso são difíceis de conseguir.*

Для компании Gurugo многовато даже одной звезды. Явные мошенники! Я тоже купила курс за 19 долларов, а с меня списали через три дня еще 69. В переписке персонаж\бот София пыталась заткнуть меня предложением получить какой то бесполезный для меня курс бесплатно. Я написала просьбу в свою кредитную компанию с просьбой отменить платеж и начать расследовании о мошенничестве и воровстве денег с чужих карт. Кстати, сам купленный курс был норм и я нашла автора, который никаких роялти не получил ни с одной продажи. И курс его стоит 36 долларов, включая дополнительные ништяки. А мне он обходится в 89 долларов и кучу потраченного времени и нервов. Схема у владельцев отработанная. Надеюсь им запретят их "творческую " деятельность и привлекут к ответственности. Теперь все курсы буду проверять здесь заранее!

This is a spam.
You sign up for a trial course, and after a few days they charge you $20–$60 or even more for a monthly subscription. Many companies do this, and that’s not the problem.

The real problem is how non-transparent their course description is. It’s extremely unclear when exactly the trial ends and when the charges will start. You can easily miss it and get charged without even realizing it.
This feels misleading and intentionally confusing. A company that respects its customers should clearly state when the trial ends and when the subscription fee will be charged.
