Excellent, swift service, less than 10 days from order to being assembled in my living room by friendly delivery team. So pleased to find a chair made from recycled materials, and with removable covers, made in this country. So many pluses for sustainability.

Easiest, most efficient and positive furniture buying experience of my life! Was trying to get a sofa right before Christmas, as I had just moved and had no furniture so was having to sit on the floor! Opted for the HB01 3 seater in bottle linen tawny and am so happy with it. It’s very comfy but supportive and such a timeless design. I had been really struggling to find any sofa (even other flat pack ones) that would fit up the very narrow stairs into my flat, but this one was just right. It ended up being delivered earlier than expected (after they checked this was okay) and they even assembled it for us once it arrived. Lovely customer service, really attentive and personal responses. An all round great buying experience, thank you!

We've loved every minute of our experience with Habbio from the minute we found them online to having now had our sofa for over a week.

We'd been looking for a new sofa for a couple of years (on and off) and were really struggling to find anything that met all our requirements. We wanted something comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and stylish, built to quite a specific spec / size. We wanted to ensure it was as sustainable as possible with good eco credentials but that it was quality enough to stand the test of time. We also have kids and a cat, which means we wanted reassurance that the fabrics were stain resistant and / or easily replaceable if need be.

We really struggled to find either a company or a sofa that ticked all our boxes. When visiting stores we were massively disappointed with what was on offer and were left feeling pretty disheartened. So-called 'bespoke' offerings were unable to 'change the legs' or 'add an extra seat; fabrics were unchangeable and offered very little choice. Having all but given up, Habbio popped up on my social media feed - their advert seemed a little too good to be true but when I clicked through to their website they seemed to tick every one of our boxes and more.

I emailed them immediately to arrange an appointment to view the sofas for the new year (this was during the Christmas period) and quickly received a very personable response saying they'd love to see us. I also ordered some fabric swatches in the meantime so we could be having a look at them. They arrived quickly and were all really lovely, making it difficult to choose our favourite.

At our appointment, Andrew from Habbio could not have been more helpful and accommodating and even took us on a tour of the whole showroom. He was able to tell us everything about the sofas from the fact they are made from 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. They can also take your old sofas away, ensuring every part of them is recycled.

Being modular, we were able to create something to our exact specification and we worked out together exactly what would work / look best. We chose the specific legs we wanted and selected a beautiful fabric after trying out a few. What is so reassuring for us is that 1) the materials are already so stain resistant (I furiously rubbed some chocolate into the swatch fabric of our choosing and left it for 24 hrs. With a little warm, soapy water they were left completely mark-free!). 2) We were assured that soon, we would be able to buy a whole new replacement set of covers online if we wanted. So if they get a bit grubby and you need to replace them, you can. Or if you change your colour scheme - not a problem - you can choose a whole set in another colour / fabric and replace them. 3) You can even replace a single cushion cover or arm at any time. How cool is that?

Within 10 days our new sofa was delivered at exactly the day and time they said it would, and our old sofas were taken away. The guys from Habbio carefully built our new sofa in less than 30 mins, showing us how to do it as they went.

Bish bash bosh! Brand new sofa within 2 weeks, ticking every box that was important to us and meeting our exact, bespoke specifications. One week in and I can honestly say I love it so much. It fits perfectly, looks wonderful in our home and all the family find it really comfortable. Thanks Habbio!

It fit together a treat but felt better after child hammered it all home with gymnastics and flying leaps.
The material is truly lovely and evokes the high quality recycled polycarbonate used.
While uk-based habio cannot claim to be free of all nasties , it’s made in a workshop in the UK and they are clearly aware of the issues with fire and stain retardants. This combination allows the careful (and difficult to explain) decisions that substantially mitigate potential harms while retaining the benefits of a couch that won’t burst into flame as per uk law. But perhaps will stain if you make a great effort. This is answered by replaceable covers for their (thankfully) limited range.
Stylish and lovely upholstery cover colours are not well served by their basic website option background but the swatches pages is good enough to understand they are wise and …british in their choices (sayeth the migrant). Not a purple labourghini couch; a fun healthy and comfy place to set humans you admire :0)
Glorious to be able to easily take it apart into easily manageable pieces and so to take along to new homes where the steel mating elements prove their mettle.

Really impressed with Habbio - I highly recommend them for three main reasons:

1) I looked almost everywhere online and in various stores for sofas with some sustainability credentials. I soon discovered that the industry is very wasteful and overall "uneco". I have to say Habbio is way ahead of the game. They use mostly sustainable materials (e.g. fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles) and their sofas are 100% recyclable. They're handmade in the UK and delivered in flatpack boxes (so you don't have to wait weeks/months!). They're also expandable because of their modular design and you can change the covers if you fancy a change in the future (I'm told sofa covers will soon be sold separately on their website). All this is intended to avoid the culture of disposability in the furniture industry.

2) I was impressed by Habbio's communication. I received an email before delivery and they even offered to come a day early. Andrew (who delivered my sofa) called on the day, assembled the sofa in minutes, explained the sustainability features, and offered me advice on protecting my wooden floor. It's personal touches like this that make Habbio stand out from the crowd.

3) My sofa is just incredibly comfortable and looks great.

In summary: whilst you can find cheaper sofas elsewhere (and there are certainly more expensive ones out there), Habbio is aiming big on the environmental and sustainability front - they also have really excellent customer service and don't compromise on design.

We are thrilled with our new Habbio sofa (Habbio 3 in Bottle Linen Tawny). It's so comfortable, stylish and beautifully crafted. The sustainability of the product was also part of the appeal and it's laudable for a brand to rise to the challenge of creating furniture with a low impact on the planet. I know it will last us a very long time.

The customer service has been outstanding from the excellent communication, speed of order and the helpfulness at point of delivery - the founder of the company assembled the sofa for us!

We spent a lot of time researching competitors and are so glad we chose Habbio - it's a little bit more expensive than other sofas but absolutely worth it for the quality of the product, supporting an independnt family business and the piece of mind in knowing you're being eco-friendly. I would recommend Habbio without reservation.

We're really pleased with our new sofa. It looks great and is very comfortable proving you don't have to sacrifice comfort and looks if you have an environmental conscience. It uses recycled and sustainable materials and minimises hazardous chemicals, something most other sofa manufacturers don't. As a bonus, Habbio set up our sofa (in minutes) and took away the cardboard boxes for reuse. An excellent product and service that we would highly recommend.

I absolutely love my new sofa. It looks so stylish! I love its eco credentials and that was the main reason I bought it, but it is also really comfortable and the fabric is beautiful. I went for navy and I am tempted to buy another as it is seriously showing up the other sofa in my living room! I am not sure the full L shaped configuration will work for me but it’s such a great idea. It also arrived really quickly and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Great customer service! My sofa looks amazing, is comfy, sustainable, made in the UK and I did not have to wait half a year for delivery… can’t ask for more.

When I first googled "100% recyclable furniture" I was amazed at how many companies claim this, but on closer inspection they just don't deliver this. 

For the few that did deliver, they offered uncomfortable, unstylish and impractical pieces that didn't deserve a place in my home (blunt I know, but true).   

I stumbled across Habbio after hearing a friend talk about this new range of handmade, sustainable furniture with a choice of fabric made from 100% recycled bottles ..... I searched their website and yes they really did offer all this, and made by hand in the UK - amazing.

After ordering my 3 seater Habbio HBO2 in the Eco Velvet Pickle, it arrived within the 10-14 days promised, in a box and took 4 minutes to assemble - Bravo Habbio, thank you for delivering all you promised.

Sustainable comfortable and stylish were my requirements. Lot's of options out there that ticked one or two boxes but a bit of research paid off as I am writing from a 3 ticks sofa !
