This move was conducted over two days, and as the dates approached I felt rather apprehensive about how things would go. However, I have to say that the removal men were brilliant on both occasions ... friendly, efficient, helpful, and importantly, funny! They made me laugh on what could have been two very stressful days. I did my bit and kept them going with tea, coffee and Jaffa Cakes! They coped with difficult removal conditions, and at times rain, and both my husband and I were very happy with the end result. Also, the cost was very competitive and the men certainly earned their money! A job very well done. Thank you.

One box of kitchen items went missing between our old house and new (same town and only streets apart) which Hackworthys have refused to account for or acknowledge. Cannot therefore recommend and would not use again.

Hackworthy were wonderful from initial contact to the actual move. Everything was very simple and stress free.
The removal team on the day were stupendous and were keen to assist and make the day easy for my wife and myself. I cannot rate them too highly. Thank you to a wonderful team effort.

Went above and beyond delivering our house contents. V polite and friendly, worked very hard and with care.

The few minor breakages were not due to them, but probably occurred at the depot or original pick up.

From the initial call, through to the actual removal itself they have been so helpful and worth every penny. Very reasonable on price too and this was not a local move either - London to Plymouth area.

Their office staff were wonderful. They were always patient and helpful and they were flexible on bookings and talked me through every stage!
The actual removal team were amazing at both ends and I am only sorry I cannot remember their names as this was back in February during the storms and I have a useless memory for names - sorry boys! A team of 4 trying to unload in gale force winds - you went over and above I say! The team remained cheery, positive and they were extremely efficient.
Genuinely I couldn’t have asked for more and I absolutely recommend Hackworthy and Sons in Plymouth (in fact I have already) to people. I would give you more than 5 stars if they were there. Will I use them again - absolutely I will - 100%.!!!

Brilliant service and would highly recommend to others. It was a nightmare move with dates changing at least once a week for nearly 2 months but they were incredibly patient with all this and the dudes on the day were thoughtful, knowledgeable and really helpful. Thank you Hackworthy & Sons :)

We used Hackworthys for a business office move. Very easy process for the quote, confirmation of terms and booking in the removal date. On the day, 2 men turned up with a van on time and made light work of our move! Very happy with Hackworthys. We used them for our own domestic house move 2 years ago and the fact that we've used them again for this business move speaks for itself!

Used Hackworthy & Sons for a recent move from the South West to Lincolnshire. We opted for a full packing service as well to make life easier.
Company was very flexible in allowing us to confirm booking pretty much at the last moment, since chain was beset by problems. Moving teams turned up as and when promised, and delivered goods safely to new home, no damage to any items, beds and one large dining room dresser assembled at destination.
On the whole highly recommended.

Hackworthys were amazing! They made our move so easy. We had a full packing service as we are a family of 4 with 4 dogs I just wanted one less thing to worry about and these guys were great. We downsized fron a 4 bedroom 3 story house to a 3 bedroom bungalow. We did some of the move on the Friday and then they came back on the Monday with the main lorry full. That was the best thing we did having it spread out, it gave us a chance to clean and unpack over the weekend before the rest came. I highly recommend them. It was well worth the money and boy did they earn it. Nothing was too much trouble for the office staff either. They were very friendly and their customer service was second to none. Not that I'm planning to move again, but if I did, I would use Hackworthys again.

The 2 lads that did our removal was amazing. However, the reason I'm giving 2 starts is because the lorry wasn't big enough for our house move. Even tho I rang the day before and they said it would be fine. We had to do 10 car trips and 2 van loads in our own vehicles. Which I didn't want to do at all. It was so stressful. We had our buyers waiting for the keys at the door. The day after we had moved we had noticed there was 2 holes in our sofa and a massive dent in my freezer, I don't blame the lads as I believe they was under pressure to get what they could in. Also our marine fish tank, (which is the reason why we want someone to do the complete house move, so my husband had time to sort the tank out) completely died two thousands pounds worth. So we are not best pleased. Its took us this long to write anything as we have been so upset.
