They offer a service where they have trade partners that can carry out work on their behalf. Don't ask where they're located as they block you on messenger rather than tell you. Whoever is doing the customer service can't read!

contrary to other reviewers we have had an absolutely excellent experience with Hammonds. We ordered our rock and roll bed after being gives superb advice for our camper project. The bed arrived early, the quality was superb and the bed is super easy to operate. The bed more than exceeded our expectations. 5 out of 5

Forth coming with info to begin. After deposit paid got really difficult. Didnt answer emails, only spoke with Hammond himself only phone once and got nowhere with email contact. Product is poor, weld splatter, rough as rats grinding marks, massive burrs,. Poor quality and rubbish customer service. I did end up getting the bed frame after constantly chasing but ended up fitting it myself as the couldnt fit me in for the day id asksd for when originally ordering. Thats when the crappy quality became apparent but i was going away that night so felt i had no come back and needed crack on. Then found out they had not paid for foam i had arranged so got stung with another £68. Avoid like the plague!!

Stay clear took deposit over 10 months ago ignored all requests for updates or refund will be paying a visit with the boys to their workshop in the coming days to retrieve my money

Bed not fit for purpose (far too tight). The business address was 20 minutes from the one on their website and I felt I was always chasing them to see when my bed would be ready. I asked for my refund back and I was told they were keeping it as I didn’t want to give them over £1000 for something I wasn’t happy with. Be warned!

Great to deal with at first but their products aren’t very well made. Rock and Roll bed had weld splatter all over it, cushions had been put on before paint had dried. Rattles like mad whilst driving. Also fixed with small spreader plates and cut through van undertray just looked like a bodge job. I’d raise it with them but after seeing other reviews I can see it would be pointless and I only realised these issues after my mechanic highlighted them whilst doing repair work.

I ordered and paid for a rock and roll camper bed at a cost of £1000.00 on 4th May. I’ve made many calls and sent many emails as no goods have been received. I’ve had several reasons given to me from “we moved premises” to false promises that goods are being despatched today, goods are being despatched Monday etc. Many unanswered emails and unable to get an answer on the phone. My last attempt for a refund was 13th July when a lady actually picked up the phone and promised a refund back to my credit card that day or the following at the latest. No refund received. I’ve submitted a claim via my credit card company today under section 75. Fortunately I’m protected by taking this route, others paying by debit card may well not get their money back. I’m at a loss as to how this company has achieved any 5 star reviews as I’ve seen many similar cases to my own on other review sites.

Utterly useless company, dont be fooled by their good prices, they had my van for 4 weeks and did nothing to it, they messed me around, told me work had started 2 different occasions, didnt agree a spec with me, had no customer services and the work was being done by office staff and apprentices. I managed to retrieve my van but was the closest i have ever been to reporting my van stolen. Am still chasing them for my deposit but they just keep giving me the run around. Avoid these guys at all costs, they will just lie to you, ignore you, mess you around and not give you any refunds and the quality of work is likely to be poor and being done by people that dont know what they are doing. Cant strongly advise enough to avoid them.
