Harcourts Hamilton Rentals is an organised crime unit, They have a dodgy healthy homes assessor who claims 1 hour on their site and only comes 20min claiming if I do dnot see it does not go in my report giving this home a healthy homes cert yet the entire roof needed to be replaced from leaks spouting was pooling and draughts are still present, when you bring this up, they will do everything in their power to get you out of the property from fabricated complaints to trying ameth test same day results come back property manager is "sick" from your EMAILS so he can not turn up to court, the Owner has her Husband do the handyman work he will come play nice talk nice then 20 days later write up a ficticious complaint to help hold up their cross application to end your tenancy healthy homes man 19 days afterc oming writes up a ficticous complaint after being asked to be a witness, anti social notices given for emails 2 for same day with different dates when they fail in court to remove you they will claim to sell the house 3 weeks later giving you notice why even do an application to end tenancy if you were going to sell.. These are bad people who care nothing about tenants or landlord, Husband claims he will be back to repair his own work hes already done creating himself more work the same issues taking 3-4 attempts to fix the issues stealing money from the landlord and the quality of work is that of a kindergarten child then say its up to the new buyer to fix it not helping to get the home in tip top shape for sale at all quite the opposite.. If your a landlord who likes to cut corners and hate on your tenants these are the people for you, if you genuinely care about your property and tenants look else where trust me.

Harcourts Maynard Burgoyne provided us with an invalid electrical coc certificate. When we brought it to the agent's attention, they refused to take responsibility and accountability for the fraudulent coc certificate stating that Harcourts had nothing to do with the coc that it was the owners. I had no dealings with the owner as I only dealt with the agent so for the agent to tell me that is unacceptable. Note that prescription starts from date of discovery and it was discovered this year when we decided to sell. I am going to report Harcourt to the EAAB for its unethical conduct and I sincerely hope that the fidelity fund certificate is revoked.

Harcourts Hamilton Rentals - DREADFUL! Would give zero stars if I could. They just DGAF about their tenants, only the money. Had a multitude of serious issues with the agent, very unprofessional and uncaring, don't respond to emails or phone calls and when I left the property they refused to refund the bond in full and I had to take them to Tribunal to get it back. Avoid like the plague, they are beyond useless.

Michelle Barber of Harcourts Whitby is definitely a no go agent for me. Called in a couple of times and email a couple of times but no answer or responses at all. During viewing she acts like a btch. Called in again for the last time and asked for how much would i offer, she just dropped the call without saying anything.
Really bad service. Time for her to retire.

I'd love to leave a -5 star review for fiona Worthington at harcourts she's had multiple tenants complain about her. She is very rude and acts kindly to your face. If she's your property manager currently please be aware of her evil acts and doing she is also a liar

Christchurch Harcourts is the worse place to apply there racist down here white before black an they also put immigrants in flash houses cause they got good credit, obviously they do cause they just in this country.. Christchurch Harcourts SUCK!!!!!!!!!

This is relevant to Harcourts ASAP Narre Warren/Hallam.

They didn’t tell me my tenant had vacated!
They were informed but due to their incompetence they didn’t know or act.
The property was left in a very poor state with the door unlocked. Harcourts ASAP (Arguably Slowest Assistance Possible) does not know how to answer the phone, return an email, get back to you when they state, inform and update, their staff turnover is high, they just don’t know how to be an effective quality business.
Simply they do not do what they say.
They have displayed a shocking level of incompetence and I soon realised I had no one effectively ‘manage’ my property for at least 2 months.
Considering what I have been through I am imagining a show run by careless ignorant muppets who also don’t make life easy for their staff, hence the staff turnover.
Kermit the frog could manage my property and communicate better.
I can go on and on, so I invite anyone dealing with Arguably Slowest Assistance Possible to call me to hear more 0488797976 and to recommend someone more professional.
I fully believe the other negative reviews, avoid avoid avoid.

My husband and I were recommended, Harcourts whangarei for managing our investment property. We wish to thank our property manager Liam Marriner for his excellence and outstanding professional service he gave us whilst we were using Harcourts services. Liams up to date communications and timely responses were valuable.
We never got the privilege of meeting you face to face but we seem to know you from countless conversations. My husband and I wish you the very best and sincere appreciation.

Over recent years I’ve attended 4 Harcourts auctions. The one success turned out to be a bad EQC repair, (covered up by a woefully inaccurate vendors building report), that subsequently needed to be demolished and caused me years of anguish.
Since then the other 3 auctions all followed the same pattern:
The agent talks down the price to get you to the auction. After spending time and money on doing your due diligence, you find at auction the reserve was way higher than your stated maximum budget. All they want is bidders to push the price up, and they don’t give a stuff about you.
A misleading tactic that leaves a very bad taste!

I have been working with my agent, Giulia for a while who has been very responsive and proactive in managing my apartment rental. Her resourceful attitude is able to help both landlord and tenant to achieve a win-win result.

Absolutely horrible experience during the open home. I visited open home after auction that has been hosted by Looie James. She put property on the auction without completing due diligence, part of the property didn't even belong to the current owner. When my partner asked her direct questions about it instead of properly explaining and answering his reasonable questions she started calling him rude and asked us to leave the property. Room was full of people I am glad all of them heard that, agent should disclose that type information straight away for the potential buyers, without doing general sales pitches. I found this way of selling property an absolute scam. If she can't handle this type of discussions she probably should not work with the customers. I have been to many open homes and dealt with a lot of agents, never had experience like this.

Disgusting how they treat their renters, Especially in these over priced Studio rooms that no one wants as is. Imagine paying higher rent than others in your building and you have the smallest room, Not only this I have less features in my room such as a bathroom window for ventilation. I pay $20 more than other tenants with bigger rooms. They took 8 weeks to tell me that I owed them money. I had dropped my rent to match others rental prices and my property manager said he will discuss with home owners. That made me think it was okay to drop my fixed term rental price per week to $240 instead of $260. Apparently not, Today I wake up with an email suggesting I pay the arrears otherwise I’ll be permitted to tribunal. Now this would normally be considered my fault, But it had taken them 8 weeks to notice my rent decrease and they didn’t bother to tell me until now?. So this week I’ve gone without food in my stomach because they instantly wanted $160 out of me. I would never suggest you rent with Harcourt’s, they don’t reply to emails and referrals. They don’t have sympathy or remorse against their customers. They are a stuck up company that struggles to even rent these rooms out, Yet alone sell homes. I thinks it’s so funny. They’re a very bad company and make younger teens go hungry because all they want is money.

Never purchase a property through Harcourts. Shocking service. No follow through and they refuse to take responsibility for their own ineptness and pathetic service.

It’s not the first time dealing with these clowns but this takes the cake. They’re happy to sell a property but refuse to take responsibility for their dismal follow through and proper checking.

Shocking filth and broken items when moving into your new house purchased and they don’t care. They allege they did an inspection - well if that’s what you call an inspection you’re not worth the toilet paper it’s written on.

Not the first time such service has seeped out of this entity. Be warned. They’re Charletons and once that wad of commission is in their pockets the agents are shocking! It’s a disgrace there’s no consequences for this firm.

We have seen a rental property on trademe listed by Harcourts Rangiora. We emailed as it had the email option. The following day I checked the add again and called the cell phone number for the rental agent and no answer so left a message. No response from email or cellphone. Then we started calling the office on Monday and to be told rental agent away on conference put through to her phone to leave message, left message. No response called again on Wednesday - put through and told to leave message she will get back to you. Nothing from her still. Called back today Thursday told to leave message so was put through to her phone again, Then I called back and asked the receptionist to take the message she said the rental agent will get back to me. NO one has called us back. What is going on with this company where is the owner or manager to deal with this awful service.

If I could give Harcourts a 0 i would. Will never buy a property or deal with them ever. If you are looking to rent or buy with them then I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Don't use Harcourts Dalview. The lady was unprofessional and a horror to work with.
We had to take our own photo's and do our own write-up of the property and then to top it off, she listed the house price incorrectly.
And when I called her out, she blamed everyone else for her mistakes.
Really and honestly the worst experience of my life and moving is already not easy.

If you miss a rent by accident, they'll get in touch with you immediately. But if you need them for anything, they'll not even bother to reply to your emails. Yes, this is what Harcourts is all about. Worst customer service and unprofessional property managers. Avoid them as much as possible.

Would never buy or sell through Harcourts again - the beginning of the sales campaign was a flop , and our agent decided we weren’t a good fit and dumped us 2 weeks in which has cost us huge advertising fees and no sale ... so looking forward to finishing our contract and leaving this behind as a lesson well learned - we did make a complaint but it was brushed aside ... if it says Harcourts in the sign , probably a good idea to search elsewhere
