ABOUT USJoseph Haspel, Sr. originated the use of a lightweight cotton fabric known as seersucker in the manufacturing of men's suits in the early 1900's. His suit solution for Louisiana's blazing summer heat became the brand's signature item, propelling Haspel's popularity beyond its southern roots, while making an indelible mark on American menswear. In the following decades, Haspel continued to expand its offerings, attracting new enthusiasts with its bold colors and classic sensibilities. It also pushed the envelope of innovation, introducing stretch fabrics and working with fabric companies to create the "miracle fiber" used in wash-and-wear suits. Owned by the Haspel family, the brand today has built on it's iconic tradition in Summer Suits and expanded it's roots in menswear to accessories and new products.

Missed Derby Day Look
Received incorrect pant size due to Haspel incorrect warehouse picker error. Took time to get correct size due to having to return incorrect item first. In addition, the second/replacement shipment was shipped ground versus being expedited thus creating a further delay in getting the pant to my tailer in time for Derby day. Lack luster experience with company even though product is nice.

Answered Prayers: Haspel Is Back!
I grew up just north of NOLA and Haspel was the go-to suit for work from the time I finished school because they delivered value in tropical fabrics that kept you comfortable but professional looking in sultry places like Houston and New Orleans. Sad when they went out of business and thrilled that a member of the family has resurrected it. PS: I limit daytime seersucker to Easter/Labor Day but I wear my seersucker tux year round. Best gift I’ve ever given myself! My only complaint is that I wish they would offer a pleated pant. Not for everyone but some of us like the room a pleated pant provides!

Quick communication!
Company emailed me and told me when to expect both my suit, jacket and pants on particular dates that were on back order. I would like some reassurance that they can guarantee that they will come in by those dates and so far as I need them for a wedding 30 days later and haven’t heard a specific response back about that!

Quick delivery and nicely packaged
Quick delivery and nicely packaged. Suit is nice though unfortunately, quality and texture of seersucker suits seems to have declined since my last purchase in 2018. Also no longer made in USA.

V. nice suit but double check size!
Suit is very nice and I got compliments. I was sent the wrong size trousers 38 instead of 34. Luckily the tailor was able to take things in.

The pants for the suit do not fit
The pants for the suit do not fit. This is the second time I have purchased pants from Haspel that did not fit. I ordered the same waist size that I always purchase from other clothiers. I am going to have to return the pants for a larger size, and hope the new pair fits, as Haspel does not have a retail outlet at which to try on products before purchase.
