My wife bought me the lancaster build kit
My friend built it for me the model is fully built & now the left wing is opening up ive messaged customer services but they just don't want to know ive also emailed them but you don't get anywhere
Then today i rang hatchette & got a rude woman that didn't even believe me
If your going to buy the hatchette lancaster build don't bother to many problems
This is what my friend said about the build
It was a somewhat pleasurable experience. However, the problems I encountered on the way, are not acceptable. The amount of money this build costs, unfortunately isn't justified with the build quality, a few issues I had was, engine motors needing a lot of work due to poor design and bad positioning on the motor. Along with poor design of the undercarriage doors, leading them to not close entirely and properly. Also, another poor build choice was adding the guns on halfway through, when really they should be last, and I can think of a few ways to do this. Another problem, as noted, is the wing leading edge opening up. It should've included more screw holes to secure it properly. In general, the build and final model doesn't justify the amount of money spent on it.

This company is ok until you want to cancel your subscription. I asked them to take my debit card off their system and I would pay online. They said they had done it but hadn't so money still came out of my account. You get sent items that you didn't ask for but still have to pay for ir you can send it back at your own cost and they will give you a refund. Customer service are prompt to respond but they don't read your messages properly. So you are constantly sending them messages. I wouldn't recommend buying from these.

Just trying to get started and spoke to Aaron (hope I spelt that right!) Was super helpful and went above and beyond to answer my questions. Will definitely be going forward with you guys as I start, thankyou all very much!

I spoke to them online, they were so very helpful and willing to go above and beyond probably what they should have done x After being in hospital my subscription was on hold , the problem was sorted and fixed practically immediately with no other issues. Really helpful people x

Ben is a really polite upstanding employee. He was very polite in my call with him. I hope he gets paid and treated well. He seems like a nice guy. I really liked dealing with him when my card got declined. I hadn’t noticed but he was very prompt and polite in his correspondence.

I bought combat patrol which is a Warhammer magazine with models. I didn’t notice it was declined and when I responded to the email they were very polite. And when I called in I happened to deal with Ben. I wish all my customer service reps were as friendly as Ben.

Unfortunately, I have had a mixed experience with the subscription from them. Firstly they use Evri for the bulk of orders. If you've used evri you know exactly how bad this is!!! Secondly, when it comes to canceling the subscription, even though they have sent the incorrect part, they won't cover the cost of the postage to return it. Along with a premium subscription cost, that means I have paid a full month for nothing!
I would suggest before using them, you consider if this is really what you want. As you will certainly get problems and they don't like giving and refund.

I had a query about my winnie pooh crossword and they were really fast and efficient with my problem really friendly and they solved my problem and they told me any other problems just get in touch really glad I decided to join.

Had a parcel of 4 issues of warhammer 40k combat patrol undelivered (lost in transit, stolen from doorstep, who knows).
I reached out to Hatchette regarding the missing package and Nikita promptly let me know they would replace the delivery with 0 hassle.

Im happy with the service overall with only this 1 small hiccup in, i think, 19 deliveries over a year and half.

Great Customer Service. Keira has been wonderful. the issue was resolved immediately without any issue.

I get the crochet issues. Always get fast response to any queries. I'm a beginner and the first few squares were difficult but perseverance pays off. It seemed expensive initially but there's lots of projects and loads of extras. I really enjoy it and can't wait for the finished throw.

I am 7 months into the Dalek build. It is scheduled to be 3 years total. Everything has been great so far. Stages are delivered every 30 days and they are each packaged very well. They provide extra screws which is much appreciated. The Dalek used quality parts and is going together very well. Only concern I have is the solder connections on the small motors and lights seem very fragile and people have reported having them break off (repairable), nothing has come apart for me though. I handle them carefully.

Hollie and the rest of the Customer Service team on the Warhammer Combat Patrol subscriptions are awesome and you should give them all a raise!

Always knowledgeable and go above and beyond helpful at resolving even the crazy complicated issues!

Commuincation with customers is fantastic and shows a willingness to help the customer's needs. The subscriptions they offer also very unique and a wonderful to work with.

Hatchette Partworks have a great customer service. Both James and Sam dealt with my query quickly, by not only replying to my messages and E-mails quickly, but explaining what I needed to do. They also explained why I wasn't able to do what I wanted to do online and that the best option was to ring.

Brilliant customer service hollie helped me with a question and she got back to me very fast 100% recommend

We are currently doing the Peter Rabbit Cross stitch, subscribed to the magazine. I have had a few problems which the complaints dept have been dealing with people like Jacqueline and Milly, mostly sorted now, they have been great if sometimes a little slow, better now as they seem to have more staff.

Thank you Sam S from hatchettpartworks for sorting out my subscription query so quickly and so thoroughly. Once you explained everything to me it became easier to understand. Also the sign of good will you gave me was totally unexpected but thank you very much for your very professional and caring way in which it was dealt with. I love doing the cross stitch in your Peter rabbit collection I find it very rewarding.
