Accused of Fraud for Reporting a Missing Item:
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with HEEZ Research has been extremely disappointing.
I ordered three bottles of Melanotan I (10mg) under their Buy 2, Get 1 Free promotion. When my package arrived, I received only two.
I contacted customer service, explained what happened, and provided photographs.
Instead of helping resolve the issue, their representative accused me of attempting to defraud their business.
Their exact words: “Please do not try to defraud our business.”
Seriously?
Their justification was that their internal inventory matched and the bubble wrap in my photographs supposedly indicated three boxes had been shipped.
I explained that I had removed the package and opened the bubble wrap slightly to confirm what was inside.
Apparently, that wasn’t good enough.
After multiple emails, they refused to replace the missing bottle directly. However, they offered to include another bottle if I placed an additional order.
So let me understand this. Your records supposedly prove I received everything, but you’re willing to send another bottle if I spend more money?
They eventually directed me to an order protection claim that could take over a week and might not be approved.
What bothered me most wasn’t the missing bottle. It was the complete lack of professionalism and the willingness to accuse a paying customer of fraud over a disputed shipment.
I understand businesses need to protect themselves. I also understand that shipping errors happen.
But there’s a significant difference between investigating a customer’s complaint and accusing that customer of dishonesty.
I’m sharing this experience because customers deserve to know how a company handles problems after receiving their money.
I have the original order confirmation, photographs, and email correspondence documenting the entire interaction.
HEEZ Research had several opportunities to handle this professionally. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.
My advice: Consider the customer service experience, not just the product prices, before placing an order.
