I received a check in mail and I cashed it. I had a loan with another company and they offered to pay Heights loan off. They did this 12.19.25. The other company overpaid around $100. Heights was supposed to refund to me and they say they mailed 12.31.25 but today id 01.21.26 and still no check in the mail. The manager was RUDE AND told me not responsible for the mail and its my problem. I think its illegal to not refund customers their money. I am reporting too the BBB. This was easy fix, check if cashed and reissue. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY!

Hi everyone, I have been with Covington Finance for 2 or three years. It’s been a while but in all those 2 years I’ve had excellent excellent employees work with me with politeness kindness expertise. Their manager is an excellent manager to be able to put a team like that together there it has never been one person that does not treat me with respect that to me goes a long way because times right now people being rude and disrespectful and they always come through for me they always allow me to ask for help and they try their very best to help me so anyone that wants a a lone go to to Covington Finance. They will be more than happy to put something together for You.

Every single interaction I have with the people in the McKinney branch has been nothing but pleasant. Speaking with Ron and Kelley always puts a smile on my face. Today, Madison, who is temporarily at the McKinney location, helped me with a refinance, and she was absolutely delightful. She made the process go completely smoothly, and she was a joy to talk with through the whole process. I can only assume each employee goes through training that includes making customers feel comfortable and valued. And, Ron, in McKinney, must continually encourage customer-value behavior, because each call that I speak to he or Kelley makes me feel valued and brightens my day. Thank you!

I've had a account with this company for years and only in this last loan they will call you one day after your due date, they will Harris you with lies about you and your account. Once before I was accused of screaming when I was actually driving with my windows down, I'm 65 and can't hear well anyway, I was only 1 day late and it was around 9:30 in the morning I hadn't even had time to call them yet they were already hounding me frist thing in the morning, after that incident I always called and told them that I would pay the payment by the 9th of the month when my check arrives, they will not change the due date so your left with no choice if you don't stay within a month ahead of your payments. I had a medical problem and caused me to get behind me being able to stay a month ahead but I never went past the 10 day time period the law allows you. Now 4 months later it's again one day past my due date and I received a call at 8:35 or around this time i had just woken up with them telling me that I was now a month behind, I quickly responded with that is a lie it's due on the 30th and this is the 31st of the month and yes I was very upset and spoke with cuss words after I had just told her my payment would be there on the 9th of the month January which would be within the 10 day gross time allowed by law, yes I'm guilty of being very rude to her telling me that it's getting to be a month behind when that's a lie, I've been under financial stress from my medical condition and I've never been a month behind ever, I've had to file through NDR for all my other bills yet this account I've continuously paid. I refuse to be harassed continuously because of one day past due, yes I called them back after I was hung up on for angering and using rude language to them telling me it was getting into being a month behind on the frigging 1rst day of even being late. If you don't want to be harassed by them after missing one day getting your payment or giving them a call like i did ever single month when I was going to have to wait for my check on the 9th, they will forget about your needs after you have signed the contract and pay a fortune in interest they will harass you early morning on the first day after your payment is due and they don't stop there they will lie about why they are calling you so early just like she tried saying that my account was becoming a month behind and it was only one day behind. I apologize for my rude language with cuss words but that was uncalled for , if it was a few days behind then I could have understood it but not early morning hours one day late, I will never use this company again.

I recently applied for a loan and was ultimately declined due to a charge-off on an old loan. While the outcome wasn’t what I hoped for, I can honestly say I was not upset at all—and that speaks volumes about the level of service Ross provided.

From start to finish, his communication, follow-up, and professionalism were exceptional. He treated me with respect, without judgment, and genuinely made me feel like he wanted to help, even knowing the decision might not go my way. That kind of old-school customer service is rare these days.

WELL LET'S SEE THEY USED TRANSUNION THE SAME CREDIT BUREAU AS SECURITY FINANCE AND EMPIRE FINANCE THOSE TWO DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY ALSO LOOKED AT MY EXPERIAN SCORE WHICH IS GOOD AND GAVE ME A LOAN THIS COMPANY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO BUSINESS AND WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR CHILDREN AND ANIMALS BUT I SAY THAT THERE ARE NOT TOO MANY UNPAID ACCOUNTS. The staff was very helpful and informative. However I got an offer in the mail that was nothing close to the offer they were trying to give me. Why give me an offer if they will not actually give said offer! False advertising

Awful experience with Heights. Poor customer service and the pay portal is unreliable. Website has absolutely no support. Autopay was setup, however customer service claimed it was my bank account. Stay far away, predatory loan behavior.
