I really liked the application, it's very easy to choose the different options and it's written in simple words.
On the other hand, I really found annoying that they don't have lawyers in every state, I feel like it is kind of a false advertisement.

The prenup that was drafted was very broad/general, with little wiggle room for combining or modifying what we could do. It wasn't clear upfront that we would have to pay extra for attorney review/answer questions until after we had paid the $600, which would have definitely influenced our decision to use this service. To even answer the questions cost $600 which I didn't like because there was no way to see what issues would even arise/what topics were covered. I also wish that for the options to defer to state law, the service would actually tell us the state law - thankfully, we had the ability to look it up ourselves but the internet isn't always reliable/there's no telling what would actually happen in court. It would have been helpful for there to be a pros/cons scenario for choices as well so that we could make more informed decisions. I was also frustrated because with how new this service is, it's unclear whether this document would even hold up in court since it's extra to have an attorney review! We even had to sign a waiver at the end which would absolve this company from any responsibility if we paid $600 for a piece of paper that's not even enforceable. I felt like if I was going to have to pay for a prenup, my money would have been better spent on an attorney, and I would rather pay more (even significantly more) to have a more tailored experience with a real life attorney and the guarantee that the prenup actually is enforceable.

In the end, we went forward with HelloPrenup partially because we had already paid the $600 and also because neither of us has a lot of complications - we both have comparable jobs, very few assets/agreed on the distribution already, and no kids. We are also reasonable people who agreed on everything with no points of tension so having something signed and in writing was easy - I doubt it would have been if there was any conflict or shared assets. Further, we do have the option to amend later on as our lives get more complicated, at which point I am certain we would hire an attorney to help us - both with adapting our prenup and fixing any and all flaws from this AI generated document.

It was not mentioned before that we will need to hire separate attorney for clearing our doubts on the prenuptial Questions. Nor it was mentioned anywhere that a separate notary service need to be hired. When the service mentioned full prenuptial agreement service then it should provide full end to end service. I could have downloaded a sample prenuptial agreement or use chatgpt or something to help me draft one.

This was a very straight forward process. Working with your partner to review the questionnaire portion is helpful. This would be the best service and completely stress free IF the website actually provides suggested legal services like it advertises. At least, if you live in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area, you will not find legal services to review the prenup. Whatever you thought you were saving, you may end up spending on legal fees after all! Some may not want to have an attorney review it, but that is a huge faux pas and may pay for it later when a judge denies the validity of the prenup regardless of notary signatures.
