Ladies DO NOT purchase from this vendor. They are extremely unprofessional since they are taking customers’ hard earned money and not sending product. I ordered a product on December 19 and this order is still being “processed”.The item hasn’t even shipped and I have not received any update or explanation as to why. At the moment, I still have no idea when this item will ship because the vendor has not responded to my messages. When I purchased my item, I was told on the website that my item was expected to be received by December 31st. I wonder how that is supposed to happen since it is now December 27 and my item hasn’t even shipped out. Based on these other reviews, it seems like this merchandise will be coming from a factory in China.

At this point, I just want to receive my item and take my money to their competitors. Iwill likely continue purchasing similar merchandise from the Virgin Hair Fantasy and Big Chop Hair because these vendors ship items within 1 to 2 business days after purchasing and they respond to messages within 48 business hours. Ladies, check out their Instagram pages and websites because they are legit businesses. Thank me later.

I have no record of any of these “5” messages from you in the email associated with my account (inbox, spam, trash, etc.) and I did not see any messages from you on my account on your website. I just updated my account on your website with the requested information. Please contact me directly if you need additional information to ship out my order. Also, please include a legitimate tracking number for this package once sent. Thanks.

Oh and ladies let’s hope that the quality of the product I purchased is as good as advertised on their Instagram and website because if not, I will gladly tell the truth.

I’m quite disapointing! I thouhgt they are the best in class the wig business it turns out the quality is low and the customer service is not decent especially when you consider everything you buy is at least 300$

Can someone explain why these wigs and clip ins are so expensive. I know for a fact y’all aren’t shaving WOC’s hair and making a wig. So why is it so expensive? $710?! For one wig?! If you want to inspire women to represent their natural hair texture I’d say start by not charging them $1000 for fake hair.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Even though the clip ins are on the pricey side I was excited to receive my package of 2 bundles for $518.00. The hair comes with the clip in section rolled in a zip tie (so you can’t see the clips) and once you cut the zip tie to look at the hair, you can’t return the hair. I wasn’t able to see that LITERALLY HALF of the clip ins in both packages were cracked and broken until after I cut the zip tie off. I contacted customer service and no response. This company is a SCAM! Never again...

I am so sorry that I ordered this wig without coming to trustpilot first. The company is totally dishonest. They don't say that the wigs are imported from China. They give a false impression that the product comes from the US. I don't order products from China on principle because they can't be returned and you have NO recourse against them. They charged me import duties. If I know that this was coming from China I wouldn't have ordered it.
I ordered a 14 inch wig and it is 8 inches. The texture feels synthetic and is hard. I paid over $500 for the wig and the color is brown as if it was dyed. I have worn $1500 wig so I know what real human hair feels like.
I gave them 1 star because the packaging is fancy.

I had been watching reviews for Her Given Hair wigs for a few month, and really loved the color, length and look of "Embrace My Coily Life". I finally decided to bite the bullet and order the wig for $550. When I received it, the first thing I did was video tape the unboxing of the unit from the DHL packaging. One of the first things I noticed was that the color of the wig was not like the one on their website. The second challenge was that it was not 18 inches as indicated on their site. The next day I took photo's and reached out to the company to discuss the problems. The response that I received was that the wig length of 18 inches referred to the hair straightened (really). I asked if that was indicated anywhere on their site or packaging (silent). For the color they said that they have different stylist who color the hair so it may vary. I told them that I understand however, if as a customer I'm ordering a product based on what is shown on their website, my expectation was that there would only be minor differences. The company agreed for me to return it. After a day or so I decided to keep the wig and give it a try because I know how to work with wigs, so I could make adjustments. Well, three weeks later after wearing the wig, it has shed sooooo much and tangles. I cannot express how disappointed I am after paying $550 for a wig that is DEFINITELY NOT worth it. It seems that many folks have expressed that the quality of the wigs is not what is being represented by this company, I wish I had saw it before I made this purchase. Her Given Hair, Do BETTER and Be BETTER.

I bought this hair in January but didn't use it until March. When the pandemic hit NYC, I finally had some time off to devote to my kinky textured full lace wig. When I first washed it, it tangled and shedded a bit but nothing major. It looked fabulous. The next time I washed it, it became a tangled mess. I used the recommended products and followed the instructions but it still tangled. It took me hours to untangle it. I lost a lot of hair but because it had so much hair to begin with, it wasn't really a problem. The final time I washed it though... It tangled again. This time I was extra careful, I again used the recommended products and tried not to touch the roots of the hair. But it still ended up looking and feeling like a bird’s nest. I tried to untangle it again and large chunks of hair were coming out. This was a complete waste of over $450 dollars. I got wigs that cost me much less that lasted much longer than this one. I also noticed that when I went to write a review on their website, it wasn't posted. Ladies, save your coins. Although this wig was the closest I've ever had to my own texture hair, it's just not worth the cost; unless you don't ever intend to wash it.

The hair was poor quality, cant style, brush it straighten or blow dry it, even when wet can barely be manipulated. I paid $15 For delivery, then was charged an additional £18 charge from Fedex. Not worth the money. Avoid at all costs.

I recently received the the Spice up your life unit as a gift. I have been watching videos for a year and trying to decide if I wanted to pay that much money for a wig. I have been depressed about my appearance after losing my hair due to chemo, and my 19 year old son decided to try to surprise me. He is a F/T college student and only works PT, so this was an even bigger investment for him. You should have seen his face, when he handed me the box. He ws so happy. I think both of our hearts broke when we opened it. The first thing he said was, it's so small. It's supposed to be full, and 16 inches. It's thin and the hair is 12 inches stretched, it barely touches my shoulders. The hair is also dry and damaged. There is also not a single coil or curl in this wig, it looks like an 80s crimp. It was delivered by DHL on Sunday and I emailed them within an hour of opening it. I am not new to this, and I didn't alter it, in any way. Each new email, I get a new stipulation about something that must be in the return, or something I must do, down to the wanting the business card they stick in the box and hair care leaflet back in order to return it. I was told that I have to pay return shipping as well. I also have no idea how much of his money they will return. It really seems like they are setting it up to keep as much as they can. These wigs get shipped straight from a factory in China, with no quality control. It's just another company trying to take a much money are they can, and PayPal will not help you. I have gotten better wigs in Amazon for 150. This was cost almost 500 with shipping. They also won't print negative reviews on their site, so don't trust the 5 star reviews there.
UPDATE...Their response was to threaten me with that 20.00 restocking fee that she had not previously mentioned. I am over it. The fact is these people will argue with you over the condition of a wig that they have not actually seen, because it is sent from the factory. I don't have the energy or the inclination to continue.

I have 3 items purchased from Her Given Hair. I adore all of them. I have the Chizi Duru inspired Afro wig, the Afro Kinky draw string ponytail, and the full lace kinky blow out wig. I have the had the first 2 products for about 2 going on 3 years. The kinky blow out wig ive had for a year, I don't wear it often because I hate gluing it down.

My Chizi Duru wig I wear very often. It is still quite dense after 2 years. Maybe it's because of the texture. Over the years, I've seen a lot of people choosing the cozily textures because you can "do more with them" and that's probably what's killing the longevity of your units. People were shying away from the kinky units because they're allegedly more work,but that's only the case if you want to appear to have looser curls, so you spend a lot of time manipulating the hair.

For both my Chizi Duru wig & the kinky drawstring pony tail, I just moisturize with a little water & leave in and finger detangle. I wash & deep condition the hair as well. I treat the kinky blow out unit the same way, it's just that I can use a comb/brush in it more easily.

I would absolutely purchase from them again, provided they make more kinky hair products. But I highly doubt that will happen because everybody's looking for curls. And businesses have to cater to what their patrons want. So I'm just stocking up on sales points for right now.

I have had a couple of purchases from Hergivenhair but I definitely had my last. I bought a Coily textured Lace Front Wig for over 400$ and the unit turned out to be a waste …so much hair and so shapeless to be used. My experience with the clip-ins was slightly ok but not the best. The hair turns out so rough after a while…THIS IS NOT HUMAN HAIR as claimed so bear that in mind! The chemical smell after unboxing has always been striking but the worst part was the Invoice when I bought the Glam Full Head Coily Textured Clip-ins!
I paid 175$ for the clip-ins and shipping but the invoice read that they had sent samples worth 20 $.
For real????? 155$ profit for synthetic hair? nah....I will check out the nearby store next time, thanks!

J’ai commandé voilà 4 semaines sur HerGivenHair.fr. Je n’ai toujours rien reçu, mon colis semble être bloqué depuis 10jours dans une agence TNT, car mon adresse mail aurait mal était noté par l’expéditeur. J’ai contacté le service client, pour soit obtenir ma commande ou un remboursement mais à ce jour rien n’a bougé. Pour le moment j’ai bien l’impression de m’être fait arnaquée de plus de 200€, donc un conseil ne passez pas commande chez HerGivenHair.fr

Voici la suite de ma mésaventure avec HergivenHair.fr. Donc après une commande passée le 18/04/2020, que je n'ai jamais reçu jusqu'à ce jour et après maintes réclamations par mail (le dernier mail était incisif), j'ai enfin obtenu au 28/05/2020 le remboursement de ma commande. Le service après-vente qui bien que courtois me demandait d'attendre encore, encore et encore la livraison, mais bon j'ai attendu 6 semaines et tous mes plans sont tombés à l'eau. Au cours des semaines, je vous avoue avoir pensé m'être littéralement fait arnaquer. Mais heureusement, cela s’est bien terminée.
En résumé, ce fut une très mauvaise expérience. Pour le prix des produits que je n'aurai d'ailleurs jamais testé et le prix de la livraison, on peut espérer un service correct, mais ce n'est pas le cas.
Donc à vous de voir....mais je ne recommande pas.

Overall I’m keeping this review I wasn’t kept informed and now I’m showing up to my own bday bash with 2nd hand hair if I would have been updated properly I wouldn’t have depended on this wig it costs entirely too much money for them not to keep u updated then they contacted me and advised shipping would be upgraded I ordered the wig 4/15 still no wig! I’m high risk so going out shopping is out of the question even if I get my wig today I have to quarantine it so this was a horrible experience just horrible I’m in tears typing this.

They have been in contact with me and advised a glitch caused my confirmation email with receipt and purchase details to fail to send they let me know the process and even offered to expedite shipping free of charge. I’m just reserving one star because I haven’t received my order yet but I’m sure I’ll be happy.

So I ordered the wig and didn’t receive any type of confirmation, shipping info or anything I treated myself after a year of saving for my bday 5/01. Thus crisis has caused me to have to cancel plans but u figured I could still get my coveted wig. Now I’m all kinds of nervous scared and in the dark I searched for shipping reviews and customer service reviews which is how I ended up here and worried I made a mistake but wanting it too much to cancel my order. I suffer from fibromyalgia so I’m literally feeling the worry.

I received my hair. I love the packaging. Hair is beautiful. No smell. I will purchase from this vendor again and recommend to others.

I typically do not write reviews but wanted to on this item since it is difficult to find balanced reviews. This unit has too much hair and is unmanageable especially when the hair is dry. This wig too costly not to be able to use.

After watching hundreds of videos on various channels I purchased my first very wig from Hergiven hair at a cost of over $500. When it arrived my immediate reaction upon opening the parcel was shock. The box was worn and frayed in places that a new box would not be. It is shameful, and had me suspecting bad things from there. I’m just disappointed I can’t add pictures to this review!
Then I open the package and see this Dark brown thick lace. I can’t believe I paid over $500 for this.
In addition to that, the sewn in strap has been sewn into the cap, straddling the lace!! What in heaven is that about.
This is going back!

I recently purchased a coily lace closure wig and I absolutely loved it. But unfortunately it is shedding like crazy I am using the shea moisture products as recommended it helps to rejuvenate and revive the curls but, there is still major shedding. I perched hair from them in the past and was satisfied with the product. I want to continue using there products but after spending almost $500 on a wig the risk does not seem worth it. So at this point I would NOT recommend this hair because it is really expensive and the product should show better quality.

Hergivenhair is a company that can be trusted. They care about thire products and customers. I would highly recommend them over other hair companies simply because of their great customer service. Thank you HGH ❤️
