Awagami paper is wonderful but the postal packaging isn't.
Awagami paper is immaculate and I'm grateful to have been able to get hold of some through Hickman Design when it seemed to be out of stock everywhere else. The company were attentive and replied to my enquiry really quickly. I hate giving negative feedback but because the paper was in a standard cardboard envelope, the delivery person decided to bend it to get it through my letter box and consequently, every page was buckled which was disapointing : (

Thank you so much for your review about the Awagami paper and for taking the time to leave this review.
We’re really glad we could help you get hold of it when it was hard to find elsewhere, and it’s great to hear our team were responsive. That said, we're genuinely sorry to hear the paper was damaged in transit — it's incredibly frustrating for us too when Royal Mail mishandles a package, especially with such delicate materials.
Had we known, we would have been more than happy to replace the item straight away. We’d still be glad to do so — once we have fresh stock, please email us at info@hickmandesign.co.uk with your order details and any photos of the damage. We insure our deliveries so we can claim for incidents like this and get a new set sent out to you as soon as possible.
Thanks again for your support — and sorry again that the experience wasn’t perfect this time.

Great customer service. I was contacted personally regarding a delay on a product's availability. I was offered a range of options and subsequently received my order within a few days of our exchange. Their website is extensive and informative too. I entered my address and then when my phone auto filled my payment info it changed the address as well 😑 embarrassing mistake but I emailed to explain the situation immediately and was overjoyed with how pleasant and helpful the response was. Package showed up well wrapped and intact, to the correct address. 5 stars!
